Description: This car has the best of everything (year, transmission, color, body style, interior). The 1997 was the peak of popularity for the 3000GT VR4 and it's best year. Mitsubishi was doing everything right by this point. This car has had only 2 owners and approx. 41k actual miles (I purchased it with 28k several years ago). The car has been kept stock since new, except for a drop in K&N air filter and the custom $6,100 Kenwood Entertainment system (still under warranty from Car Toys and is transferable). The car is stock and is rated at 320hp with a 0-60 that is said to be 4.7 seconds, though I think this one is faster than that. I purchased the car locally and have only used Castrol Syntec Oil and the correct Mitsubishi oil filters. I have most/all of the maintenance records. This car has NEVER been in an accident. The car is mechanically sound (read like new). There isn't much you can say about this car except that it is considered a Modern Classic. In 1997, they made very few Black, 6 speed, VR4's and they are getting more and more rare. Before long, you won't be able to find one with less than 200k miles. This may be your last chance to purchase one of the good ones. This car sold new for over $48,000! Cons: No car is perfect and ALL cars should be driven and enjoyed!Minor Curb rash on both the wheels on the right side (not very noticeable and repairable)A couple small, minor scratches that may be able to be buffed out in the clear coatA few minor rock chips...No Dents! This is my 31st car and by far my favorite. I wouldn't sell it, but it is getting harder for me to drive a sports car as I am disabled.
