This 1989 Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R was 100% legally imported by JDM Auto Imports LLC, a Licensed and Bonded Automotive Dealer. The overall condition is excellent for its age, with only 99,000 Miles after 26 years. That is a mere 3,800 miles a year. This car is gorgeous and has been well taken care of and maintained. The timing belt was replaced at 80,786 miles, and the rear differential was changed at 81,614. The engine starts right up and effortlessly pulls through the gears without hesitation. It feels wonderful to drive and is very comfortable and responsive. When driving, you quickly realize this vehicle is special, and understand how it performed so well to become known as Godzilla. It has the original OEM GT-R wheels, which are in great shape, and is currently sitting on a matching set of Horace Horizon 225/50 ZR16 tires with like new tread. The interior is beautiful, and does not have the dreaded ugly bubbles on the dash board. The seats, trim, and carpet are very clean and in great shape. There are a couple minor fabric rips on the drivers right side seat, which is common. Comes with a nice set of vintage Nismo floor mats. Trunk is clean, no rust, and has the spare wheel and tire in place. The exterior is truly amazing for its age. The paint looks fantastic and shows minimal wear for the age and mileage. There a few small paint chips on the rear wing and a long scratch on the under/side of the passenger side skirt. The car is simply stunning and far above average condition after 26 years. The vehicle is equipped with an HKS Turbo Timer to allow proper cooling. It has a Kenwood RX-491CD audio head unit. 1990 Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R. 72,900km/45,000miles. Serial BNR32-006707. This a very well preserved example of the all conquering R32 GT-R in Gun Grey Metallic. The car is a 100% legal import direct from Japan. It is in original un-modified condition besides the muffler and a Alpine head unit. There are zero performance modifications as indicated by the fact that the boost restrictor is still present. For those that do not know, the boost restrictor was installed by Nissan to limit power to 276 hp as part of the gentleman's agreement between Japanese manufacturers. Removing it (takes about 15min) allows boost to 1 bar or 14.5psi from the limited 10psi and is the first thing to go when upping the power. Thus, it's further proof that this car is stock! All gauges and buttons work, a/c blows cold, windows go up/down quickly, transmission shifts precisely and smoothly, ride is firm and controlled without any creaks/rattles. Paint is original with a fantastic shine. Being a 25 year old car it has a few touch-ups and very tiny chips. The interior is in great shape and does not have the dreaded dash bubble that most older Skylines exhibit. There are no tears, no sagging headliner etc... The RB26 DETT starts on the first crank and quickly settles to idle, no smoke, no leaks. Runs very smooth and revs freely to its 8000 rpm redline. All hoses in the engine bay are soft and pliable and not brittle. ATTESA all wheel drive and Super HICAS all wheel steer work as they should as well. There is absolutely ZERO rust on this car. Up for sale is a NISMO Nissan Skyline GT-R. This version of the Skyline was apart of the Group A campaign in 1990. Due to strict Group A homologation rules, Nissan was required to also sell a series of the Skyline GT-R which more accurately reflected the car they use in Group A racing. This series was called the Skyline GT-R 'Nismo' edition. This version of the Skyine GT-R 'Nismo' was introduced on 22 February 1990, has a total production of 560 units as required for the "Evolution" models regulation (over 500). Only 500 of the cars were sold to the public, with 60 being held by Nissan to turn into race cars. Its purpose is to homologate a number of aerodynamic changes used in Group A racing. Changes include additional ducts in the front bumper to improve airflow to the intercooler, a bonnet lip spoiler to direct more air into the engine bay, and an additional boot lip spoiler to provide more downforce. The 'Nismo' GT-R was only available in Gunmetal Grey. The vehicle being sold here was not used as a workhorse, but rather kept as a backup which was later sold back to the public after they discontinued Group A.
