For Sale: 1966 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 Convertible in Target Red/Black Top %26 Black Vinyl Interior. This car is all original, with the exception of the top, radiator, and new exhaust system. This car has only 72k original miles, and 2nd owner (matching numbers). 1966 was the last year model of the Dynamic 88, and only 5,540 Convertibles built for the last model year. This car is equipped with the 425 Super Rocket 310 Hp V8, with the 3 spd Turbo-Hydramatic Transmission. This car was originally ordered and purchased new in South Carolina, and has been in South Carolina up until about 5 years ago, and has been in North Carolina ever since. This car is driven occasionally, and drives wonderfully, as it should. As mentioned before this car has its original paint, and interior. The only interior flaw is the torn vinyl on the driver seat area, and a small tear in the back seat. It still has the original Oldsmobile floor mats, original working clock, owners manual, and convertible top guide. The motor is still super strong, and the transmission shifts smooth. This car has NO mechanical flaws! Since the paint is original, there is some fading on the truck area, and just typical fading in most other areas which most can be buffed out. This car is super straight and rust free with the exception of a quarter size rust spot forward of the driver side rear wheel, and surface rust of the rear bumper. The top was replaced about four years ago (includes black boot top cover), the top motor replaced several year ago, as was the dual exhaust system. The radiator was replaced shortly thereafter along with a temperature gauge added under the dash. Just serviced (July 2015). The tires have only a few hundred miles on them. You are bidding on a 1999 Oldsmobile 88 LS sedan. Vehicle is used and in very good driving condition with low miles for it's age. The 205 HP engine and 4 spd transmission give it plenty of power, the AC blows cold, the AM/FM stereo and CD player work fine ( it also has a cassette player which doesn't work). The driver's power seat controls along with all 4 power windows and door locks operate smoothly. The 205/70R 15 Goodyear Reggata tires show even wear with good tread remaining. The compact spare appears to have never been used and checks out at 60PSI. The interior and trunk carpeting are in good shape along with the fabric seats. The headliner is sagging in places and has some small tears. The car was originally a dark blue and the exterior has been repainted black, overall the paint is complete without any peeling or rust however there are some thin areas in the clear coat (See photos) . Car comes with owners manual, 2 ignition keys, 2 door lock keys and key fob. The NC title is clear and can be notarized on site. As with all the trucks and cars that I have sold on ebay this car is being sold as is without any warranty. I sold a Dodge Caravan earlier this year and received positive feed back.
