1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Convertible Only 56,000 documented miles!!!! Wedgwood Blue, Black Interior & Black Top Original Rocket 350 cu in Engine, Automatic Transmission Extremely clean original condition with recent repaint in original factory correct color! Runs & Drives absolutely beautifully!! Starts right up. Idles great. Knocks down beautifully and purrs like a kitten. No smoke. Put her in drive, and the automatic transmission shifts through the gears unnoticeably. 1972 Oldsmobile Delta 88 This beauty has been kept in pristine condition. The car has only two previous owners and has not been driven but only 64K miles. The care was kept in an enclosed garage for the first 30 years and the remaining years the car has had a cover over it and is parked under a covered carport. The car does not get driven much but it is started every month to let the engine run. Interior was just redone 3 years ago along with a new pearl white paint job and tinted windows. The floor carpet has been removed and ready for replacement. 2 years ago new belts and hoses where installed along with new air conditioning unit that runs on the latest freon standard. I really like these cars especially when they are this clean and good runners and this one is no exception. This car has the 5.0L engine and automatic transmission and it fires right up and runs, drives, and shifts great. This Delta 88 is a very nice driver and just cruises down the road. Everything on the car feels tight and you can just tell that it has been taken care of over the years. That is why I really like these 1 and 2 Owner Cars that have really low miles like this one. If you look at the Autocheck the miles check out and are right at 94K Original Miles. Under the hood and undercarriage are clean and dry as can be. Make sure to watch the video I do a complete walk around of the car inside and out and even take it on a test drive. This is a 1 Owner Car that ONLY has 94K Original Miles The exterior of this car is beautiful. It is a lighter metallic blue in color with a white quarter vogue top. The car is very nice looking. The paint is in excellent condition and has a very nice shine to it. The top is in the same great shape and shows very little wear or weathering. This car is very straight and was definitely taken care of over the years. This car has a lot of chrome on it and it all looks great and just shines in the sun. I really like the big chrome rocker panels going down either side. The factory wire wheel covers are in great shape and show very little road wear and look very good on the car. The tires are a newer set of Bridgestone Tires that I would say have about have about 90% tread left. These are very nice tires that have a lot of miles left on them. With what we believe to be just 69,048 original miles, this big Olds has probably always been something special to someone. The recent code 48 Sequoia Green paint looks impressive, giving this big ragtop the dignity it has surely earned over the past four decades. It also has a wonderful glow to it, with a bit of metallic in the finish that makes it look fantastic out in the sunlight. The body doesn't look like it has had any major surgery over the years and these ragtops were actually fairly well built for the era, so the doors open and close with a reassuring solidity and the long quarters are straight. The trim running along the sides emphasizes the fact that this car is nearly 17 feet long, and you can see the care that went into putting it together because everything lines up so well. All the chrome and trim on the car has been recently polished, re-plated, or replaced, so it's in first-rate condition, right down to the ornate "Delta Royale" script on the deck lid. The white interior is quite possibly original and shows off what years of easy living can do for an old car. The wide bench seat is still firm and doesn't show any excessive wear that would suggest high mileage or neglect. Black carpets and dash provide contrast that keeps it from being too bright inside and work really well with the formal-looking Olds. The door panels are definitely original and this is where the car shows most of its age, but there are no tears or cracks in the vinyl, and a deep cleaning would probably take them up a notch or two. Things like the gauge faces and woodgrain appliques look bright and crisp, again indicative of low miles and clean living, and as an Oldsmobile, this car is loaded with options like factory A/C, an AM/FM radio, and a tilt steering column. There's room for six with the back seat being especially spacious thanks to GM's "scissor" top mechanism, which stows with a touch of a button and features a glass rear window. And few cars are better suited to road trips than this, with its massive trunk that includes a full-sized spare and jack assembly. Oldsmobile's 350 cubic inch Rocket V8 provides that torquey, effortless feel that was so important in cars like this. Rebuilt and nicely detailed in Oldsmobile Gold paint, it only looks small because the engine bay is so massive. It starts easily, idles with a bit of a muscular burble from the fresh single exhaust system, and pulls the big ragtop around with genuine enthusiasm. This is the last year model for these cars and the coupes are hard to come by. This car runs great. It has the 4.9L V8 engine which is one of the best and most reliable engines that they put in these cars. Power wise it is just as good as the Northstar but you don't have the same problems the Northstar does. This car fires right up and runs, drives, and shifts great. This car just floats down the road and is very nice to drive. It is a 2 Owner Car that only has 85K Original Miles on it. This car has been taken good care of over the years and maintained properly. There is a ton of receipts for repairs and maintenance that equals well over $5K. Someone spent a lot of money to keep this car maintained. Under the hood and undercarriage are clean and dry as can be. Make sure to watch the video I do a complete walk around of the car inside and out and even take it on a test drive.This is a very sweet car and last of the big body coupes. They only made 4,711 Cadillac Coupe Deville's in 1993 which was the last year the made these cars. They only made 24 cars this year in the Dark Plum color and we believe that this might be that color but we don't know for sure. You just don't see them like this anymore.This is a 2 Owner Car that ONLY has 85K Original Miles The exterior of this car is very nice. It is a dark burgundy in color with the light grey strip going along the bottom. I'm not sure if it was factory two tone or not but the paint on the bottom was bad so I redid it grey like you see and it looks great. It also has the matching half vogue roof that I believe they call eel skin. It is in very good condition and shows very little signs of fading. The paint does show some signs of fading especially on the top surfaces where the clear coat is burned off in spots. The car would look great with a new paint job some day. The body is straight on this car. All of the chrome and trim is in good condition and the chrome just shines in the sun. The factory wheels are very nice and show hardly any road wear at all and look great on the car. The front tires are Michelin that have bout 80% tread left but do have some dry rot. The back tires are very nice and have about 90% tread left.
