Up for sale is my 2004 Oldsmobile Alero. This is the GL2 trim model with a 3.4L V6 and 4-speed automatic. This car came to me from my dad who won it in a raffle in May 2014 in Wyoming. He gave it to my wife and I and we drove it in Michigan from July 2014 till now. It's been in Washington just over a year and is currently registered and insured here. In spite of being in Michigan for a couple of years, it is free of rust. From what I can determine, it has spent most of its life in Wyoming and Montana, though one of the service records I have seems to suggest that it spent some time in Tennessee, too. When I got the car, it had about 181,000 miles on it. I've done my best to take good care of it, but it has a few quirks that come with a high mileage car built by GM in this particular era. I have had problems with overheating on summer days climbing steep passes, but no internal damage was suffered. Oil shows no signs of coolant mixture. In November 2015 I had Tom's Chevron flush out the radiator (service record available) and that has seemed to help the cooling issues a bit. Since then I've driven the car to TriCities numerous times, and also to Seattle and Boise. No problems getting over Snoqualmie, Tollgate, or Cabbage Hill. It may run warm, like up to about 215 degrees (190 is when the thermostat opens) but it will usually sit right between 195 and 205. My guess is that another good radiator flush would help even more. In May 2016, I had the front wheel bearings replaced by Les Schwab in College Place (service record available). They informed me that the front pads and rotors needed replaced, so I performed that repair myself. I have put a couple thousand miles on the car since then and the brakes have performed very well with only the occasional squeak. Maybe because of the ceramic pads I put on it? Parts installed were from AC Delco.I have also replaced the fuel pressure regulator in this car. When I first got it, it was a little leaky and you could smell gas in the cabin. The new part fixed that problem. I also replaced the coolant overflow cap in my pursuit to cure my cooling problems, but the Murray cap that I bought didn't seem to fit very well and also didn't seem to change anything, so I put the stock one back on. I'm happy to include the aftermarket cap in the sale, however. The right front rim has a little chunk out of it, but I've never had any issues with leakage on any of the tires, so it seems to be just a cosmetic issue. The car does have its share of little nicks, dings, and scrapes all around, including some low on the front of the hood that have cut through the paint. Oil was changed and transmission fluid was topped off a couple months ago, so it won't need that for a while. It will need four new tires soon. As much as I have done to the rest of the car, I admit I have neglected the tires. This car has a weird size, 225/50R16. So your choices are pretty limited when it comes to replacing them. Tread depth is about 3/32" or so right now. The accessory belt may need replaced soon, too, but that's not official. Okay, enough crappy things! Good things! I have seen 34 mpg on the highway with this car, which is not bad for a pushrod V6 from the stone age. Most often though, I see about 21 around town, or high 20s when I'm taking a trip to TriCities and back. In the wintertime, it will do high teens around town. It's a good car for running around, doing errands, getting to work and back, etc. The engine pulls well and sounds kind of good. Trunk space is decent and the rear seats fold down. One of my favorite features of this car is that the computer monitors oil life for you. When it senses that the oil is getting old and not as effective, it will turn a dash light on telling you to change the oil. I like this because it's the car telling you what it needs based on how you drive, not the shop prescribing a certain way of doing things.I have gotten compliments on this car's looks and condition for what it is. I even cleaned up real nice one time and entered it in an all-Oldsmobile show back in Lansing summer before last, which was kind of fun. Other significant features:6-way power driver's seatOne-touch driver's windowKeyless entry (I have two keys, but just one remote)Automatic headlampsTraction control (with on/off button)Child seat anchorsWindow tinting (aftermarket)AM/FM/CD (CD player doesn't work - if you put a disc in, you might not ever see it again)

Up for sale is a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Vista Cruiser 2 Seat Wagon, matching numbers 350 automatic drivetrain, matching colors in terms of paint and interior, and original interior, dash, and carpet. It was optioned with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, and air conditioning. Freshly tuned with wires, plugs, cap, etc. Also fully serviced, fuel filter, air filter, oil filter, radiator flushed, newer battery, and all fresh oils and greased. Just installed a brand new muffler, tailpipe, and all new clamps (see picture), completely stock, no glass packs. Newer period whitewall radial Michelin tires and original hubcaps. Interior is at least 90-95% original and well-cared for, no tears or rips, the carpet even appears to be original. Nice headliner. Overall, it is in good condition for its age to say the least. The car is well-documented with a full owner's manual set, service paperwork from the 1970s, emissions and insurance data from the last 30 years (owner in Maryland kept that documentation from the mid-1980s to 2014-2015), and even an appointment book from 1973 and a memo book from 1974, both presumably from the original owner (not sure though). Also includes original luggage rack and spoiler! All factory tinted windows, glass is all in good shape and all of the windows are working including the back tailgate window. Tailgate swings out one way, but it does not want to fold down. It does open completely though. Also, it has a heavy duty trailer hitch installed. For its age and spending most its life in Maryland, it does show some rust as you can see in the pictures in the undercarriage and lower rockers, doors, etc. Has been repainted once quite a while back in the original Bamboo color and is about a 10-footer (definitely driver quality). Chrome and trim in good shape for its age, complete, nothing missing. The woodgrain vinyl is probably original and is in good shape for its age, the tailgate piece is the worst, but excessive wear there is pretty typical for Vista Cruisers. Missing original radio, had an AM FM radio when it was new, but the owner who purchased it around the late 1970s had an aftermarket Realistic AM FM Cassette installed in 1979. We can provide that radio along with the manual for it. Dash is in great shape, no cracks or tears, not faded. The Cruiser was garaged most of its life. All in all, it is a running working project and a fantastic example of a rare 2-seat Vista Cruiser survivor from the last year. It's believed to be a two-owner, first owner had it until about 1977 (we have a Goodyear tire warranty from that time) and then it was purchased by a man in Maryland around 1978 and stayed in his collection until he passed away around 2015 (the last insurance card from Maryland was for 2014-2015). So it's had a lot of time in the garage. It runs well and is not a leaker or smoker. My Dad did a lot of general maintenance, detail-work, exhaust, etc. over the last 3 months. Title is clean, no liens, signed off by the estate representative. Below is a break-down of the VIN and Trim Tag along with the NADA book value and some additional pictures. This vehicle is over 43 years old and is being sold AS-IS with NO guarantees expressed or implied. We are not responsible for shipping, the buyer will need to make arrangements, we will help load. We are open for pick-up times due to my father being retired. Please feel free to contact us if you'd like to schedule an appointment to view the Cruiser in person. Also, if you have any questions, please ask them PRIOR to making an offer. The external information provided (i.e. the Vin Decoder, Trim Tag Decoder, Book Values, etc.) are not guaranteed and just provided here as a general reference. Please be sure to review and assess the condition for yourself through the description and pictures provided. Thanks for viewing our listing! But at the end of the day, one thing is certain: it didn't take long for EVERYONE to join the party. And by 1970, the tried and true formula for Oldsmobile's storied 442 produced well-groomed street fighters like this incredible W30 hardtop. The subject of a 3-year, ground-up restoration, this razor-sharp Olds is a fully documented classic that wraps a numbers-matching drivetrain in all-original sheetmetal. If you're in the market for a first-class muscle car, it's time to stop debating and start calling! BODYWORK/TRIM A factory-correct car that reportedly hails from the dry climate of west Texas, this top notch A-Body features a solid, all-original profile that's covered in clean, Classic White 2-stage. That paint, and the traditional gold stripes that complement it, is a direct result of an extensive, 3-year restoration that wrapped up in the Spring of 2015. And today, five figures in to the future, this 442 is a timeless muscle car that intimidates like a cruise missile and shines like the family's best silver. Oldsmobile's modernist, mid-century design aesthetic was no doubt a play on its engineering leadership within the GM hierarchy, and the cars that proudly carry those lines continue to weather exceptionally well. At the front of this coupe, a 442-specific grille centers monochromatic "442" lettering between stainless-trimmed T3 headlights and a bright chrome bumper that's finished with clear parking lamps. At the top of that grille, a fiberglass ram air hood leads the eye to like-new glass that rides behind straight stainless frames. At the sides of that hood, traditional GM door handles and color-keyed sport mirrors perfectly complement clean marker lamps, dent-free wheel rings and a slick combination of "442" and "W-30" fender emblems. And at the back of the car, a "442" branded decklid hangs a factory wing above a second chrome bumper, silver-trimmed taillights and correct, trumpeted exhaust tips. ENGINE Hoist this Olds' scooped hood and you'll find an original, 455 cubic inch Rocket V8 that's branded with a correct 396021F casting number and matching partial VIN. Professionally rebuilt and fully detailed, that red hot mill is a reliable, big-port big block that, in factory form, twists stout 10.5 to 1 compression into a quick 370 horsepower! Stomp the throttle and a restored Rochester 4-barrel mixes juice from leak-free fuel lines with wind from a correct W-30 air cleaner, and shoves it in to a Winters aluminum intake. At the back of that intake, a traditional points distributor feeds fire through proven Packard TV R Suppression Cables, which snake around correct "F" heads and stamped and painted valve covers. Below those covers, freshly restored exhaust manifolds shoot charred dinosaurs in to big, true-dual pipes. Mechanically, the stout engine is all day reliable, spinning 500 lb./ft. of rock-crushing torque from one of the largest and most powerful valvetrains ever created. Aesthetically, familiar plastic fenders and Metallic Blue block skin look fantastic against the car's clean body. There's a roster of high quality ancillaries that includes factory air conditioning and a correct Delco Moraine brake booster. And the entire set up flat out rocks, from its fresh decals and pliable GM hoses to its color-keyed intake springs and Delco-topped battery. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION The bottom of this awesome 442 is completely solid, showing no signs of undue wear or question-inducing battle scars. The aforementioned Rocket fronts an original 3-speed, which hangs a correct "70 - OW" assembly tag opposite a matching partial VIN. That tough transmission sends power to a stout, 12-bolt axle. That driveline pushes a familiar Heavy Duty Suspension, which, along with the car's chassis, was thoroughly marked and tagged during the detailed restoration. Solid stops are provided by rebuilt front disc and rear drum brakes. Turns come courtesy of a familiar Saginaw gearbox, which is piped to factory power steering. At the center of the floors, aluminized exhaust pipes funnel spent gases through baritone turbo mufflers. And everything rolls on charcoal SSIIs, which spin 225/70R14 BF Goodrich Radial T/As around polished trim rings and rocket-branded center caps. INTERIOR This impressive coupe's correct, well-optioned interior is so fresh it looks like it just rolled out of the upholstery shop. At the center of the car, stainless-trimmed seats ride on fade-free carpet that's protected by "442 W-30" branded floor mats. At the sides of those seats, clean door panels center familiar GM armrests behind convenient power windows and optional power door locks. A wood-trimmed dash hangs deluxe telemetry above simple AC controls, optional audio equipment and a hidden button that actuates the car's sizeable trunk. At the base of that dash, a slim console frames a slim Hurst shifter. In front of the driver, a Sport Steering Wheel laps a tilting column. And behind the passengers, the aforementioned trunk anchors a fifth SSII and vintage Goodyear Polyglas between a small light, correct tools, bright decals and a fresh mat. HISTORICAL INFORMATION It's pretty easy to confirm this handsome Oldsmobile's status as an authentic 442. Here's a look at the car's 442-specific VIN and Cowl Tag. About the RK Motors Performance Center Regardless if your vehicle is going through our Seal of Approval Exit Service, Basic Safety Check, routine maintenance or a full custom built to your exact specifications, the RKM Performance Center has the knowledge, experience and resources to fulfill your automotive needs. In the world of electronic fuel injection and computer diagnostics, even late model dealerships look a little uncomfortable working on pre-OBD1 cars. There are many independent mechanics and shops that may be able to help, but putting your prized classic in the hands of a stranger is a leap of faith at best. This is exactly why we created the RKM Performance Center. Being proud members of SEMA, ARMO, HRIA and the North Carolina Motorsports Association, the RKM Performance Center is a nationally recognized shop; best known for high level OEM restorations and custom builds. Comprised of ASE certified mechanics, including several Master Technicians, you can feel confident that your car is in capable hands. As fellow enthusiasts, they are passionate about cars and will treat yours with the respect it deserves.
