This car has spent its whole life here in KS. The seat are still in good shape with no holes. Check condition description. Has rally wheels. The 350 only has a 2 barrel. 1968 Oldsmobile Toronado. Brown exterior, tan interior. 455 Cu In "Rocket" V8 engine with 375 HP. Front wheel drive. 39,319 miles! A great platform to start that restoration of your first car! We were told that the engine might not be original, but the engine code stamped on the block decodes out to a 1968-1970 455 cu in engine, which is the correct date code engine for this car. We can't get to the serial numbers on the engine to do a complete decode to match it to the vin of the car, but it doesn't look like a swap has been done. It could be the original engine. It is possibly not the original engine. But it is the correct size and era engine that it came equipped with from the factory. It starts up easy and smooth! Purrs like a fine tuned engine should at idle, and howls good when you rev it up. The tires are in fair condition. Good tread left, but they haven't been ran on the road in a while. There is some cracking on some of the sidewalls. One hubcap is missing. The interior is in overall good shape, with normal wear and tear of a 46 year old car. The front seat has some tears in the vinyl. The driver's side door panel has some duct tape holding the grab handle on. Some of the detailing on the dash is faded/peeling off. The driver's side main window doesn't roll down with the switch. Could be the switch or the motor. But the glass is in good shape. The last time we started it, we let it run for about ten minutes, with a few higher rpm revs to get the top end some exercise. After we shut it down, coolant started leaking from the heater core area. It appears to be coming from a hose connection, but without tearing it all apart there's no way to tell for sure. It may need a new heater core, or it may just be a bad hose. But it will need that addressed before it holds coolant and can be running and driveable. This vehicle is a project car. It needs work to be 100% operational. It is being sold with the understanding of this. However, the state of Kansas does not allow dealers to sell cars "AS IS". Some sort of warranty must be provided. To cover our end of the deal on this, we are providing a 12 month, 12,000 mile warranty on this vehicle. Any warranty work will have to be performed at our repair facility in Wichita, KS. Our Warranty will cover 10% of the parts and labor for the repairs. You, the buyer, will be responsible for the other 90% of the cost of parts and labor, and will be responsible for transporting the vehicle to and from the repair facility.
