This classic Olds may have just enough kick to throw you back in your seat! Finished in black with a two tone, vinyl interior, the body of the car is in great, original condition with the classic Olds lines. The paint appears to be an older repaint and is in good presentable condition. There are signs of chips, some paint pop and overall just looks like an old, nearly original paint job. However – the paint does show pretty good still! The chrome bumpers and stainless trim do show some pitting but overall show well. Inside, the interior appears to have been recently reupholstered and looks great! The dark gray and light gray two tone, vinyl seats look excellent as well as the door panels and headliner. How many times have you, like me, sat and watched the latest Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction and said to yourself, Man! I wish I could have one of those cars! Well, here is your chance. This car is Barrett-Jackson quality. This auction is for a damned nice 1966 Oldsmobile 442 with the RARE Club Coupe package and the highly desired 442 options. This is the most highly prized vintage car models out there. The car is documented by GM as one of only 5 ever made. They said it could be a one of one but they were more comfortable saying one of 5. It is the only known model that still exists. Please note that this is a club coupe. not a two door hardtop. There is a pot behind both door, unlike a hardtop.This beautiful car only has 10,728 miles showing! It has been completely restored and is a pretine example of the model. It won 1st place in numerous shows across the country and is a beauty in person. The known details of the restoration and modifications are listed below. The exterior of this classic is actually much better than new. It is a brilliant bright white and the paint and body are as close to perfect as you will find. I hesitate to say flawless only because someone will find some tiny nick that I missed so we'll just say nearly flawless. There is absolutely no damage anywhere on the entire car. The paint is great with a high gloss and no problems at all. NO dents, nicks, paint issues, dull spots, runs, overspray or other issues. This was a high-end professional restoration done with NO expense spared, There is no evidence of ever having previous damage. It is the 442 model and the car has all the correct emblems attached. It is also the added club coupe,as seen in the photos. All of the emblems are in perfect shape. The chrome has all been professionally replated or replaced with top quality NOS style items. The car also has new rubber seals throughout. The door, hood and trunk jambs are in perfect shape and I have extra photos of them, if you need them. They open and close so easily it's spooky! This car is an original 442 and not some made-from-extra-parts car. It has a numbers matching 400 with the rare automatic trans with column shifter. The floors are great and the trunk bottom is perfect. I also have photos of those. I can only put 24 pics on eBay so if you want more, I will have to send them to you. The car has new perfect condition Olds 551 wheels with new P225/75R14 black letter tires, both of which give it a great look. THESE WHEE;S WERE $80.00 each. I have found absolutely no issues with the car at all. I drove it extensively to see how it was before listing it. It was great! Started easily, ran strong and handled wonderfully. I want to emphasis that this car is NOT some hack job like you sometimes find on here. This is about as nice a restoration that you will find unless you spend $100,00.00 on the car and having it done. The rain gutters are totally clean and well done, Body seams are perfect, body gaps are likely better than they were from the factory, paint is better than factory as is the interior. Again, I have many photos that I can send and will take others if you need them. I have included a close-up of the firewall tag so those of you who are interested can research the car on your own. I do know that the firewall tag is easy to read and you should have no trouble with it. There is absolutely no body filler on the car and it has never had a spot of rust! On to the interior. This one has the totally cool FACTORY red and darker red vinyl interior that is absolutely perfect! I have photographed more than 100 classic GM cars and trucks over the last few years and this is the only one that has had this vintage, original interior. Most people just go with the plain black vinyl but these folks did it right! It is the exact interior the car was made with and not redone!.The outer edges of the seats are dark red and the inner sections are the darker red stripes. The door panels match the seats and are perfect, however they have been redone. The dash is great with no wear, cracks or fade. It has perfect shape and has not bent like so many of them do in the center. This car has the extremely rare and original column automatic shifter, as seen in the photos. The dark red carpet is original style and is in great shape. Some of the photos may show the carpet to appear faded but that is not the case. It is just the camera flash glaring. The carpet is in new condition and perfectly colored. The car also has correct vintage type floor mats. Correct manual windows and locks and manual remote adjust on the driver's outside mirror. It also has a power antenna. They all work, as well. The car has a factory AM unit in the dash. It is a high-end car that really stands out. The interior is in GREAT condition. The headliner is also in new condition and the car has the correct lap seatbelts. The interior on this car is one of the things that makes it special. It is a beautiful design with comfortable seats and a great appearance. I know I am going to get a hundred questions on whether the numbers match on this car. The answer is absolutely yes!. It has been documented through Oldsmobile to be numbers matching with the original engine. And now for the mechanics. Ths car has enough power scare your friends! It is the original 400 small block and it is connected to a 400 turbo 3 speed automatic transmission. Both have been rebuilt and both operate well. The engine and engine compartment are restored to the same quality as the rest of the car. The entire engine is balanced and blueprinted and those papers come with the car. It has a Lumanti carb. There is an electronic cooling system for extra protection, as seen in the photos. It has headers that lead to a full lenght stainless steel dual exhaust with chrome tips. There is a great sounding rumble to it. It is not too loud but gets the proper attention. Again, I have numerous other photos. The car has factory power steering, power brakes and an aluminum mid-rise intake. The engine runs cool, has great oil pressure and no internal noise. The trans shifts well and grabs as it should. The car also has an aftermarket tach and a set of extra gauges under the dash, just t be sure! All could easily be removed.. The rearend is a 10 bolt but to be honest, I do not know if it is a posi or limited slip. I forgot to check when I was with the car. Again, this car only has 10,728 miles showing. These are the originals miles! The engine runs like it is brand new and of course. there are no leaks or problemfos of any kind. The 442 you see here is correct with its Target Red paint, red vinyl interior, big 442 V8, 4-barrel carburetor, dual exhaust and 2-speed automatic transmission.Finished in Target Red with a single black pinstripe accenting the sides, the exterior shows beautifully with only very minor imperfections to the paint. As mentioned, the Target Red paint is correct to the car. The body is laser straight and shows no signs of damage that we have found. The front and rear chrome bumpers are in great condition with a brilliant luster and shine. The stainless steel trim does show some pitting, due to age but it does show well. Inside, you’ll see that the interior is in great shape. The red vinyl upholstery is in great condition with no tears or holes present. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present possibly one of the most unique vehicles you may have ever seen: The “Spoiler!” This extremely custom, one of a kind Studebaker was the creative vision of late car builder and fabricator extraordinaire Jesse Mace of Missouri. Mr. Mace’s cars turned heads and were vehicles that only drove in your dreams – that is until he spent thousands of hours and dollars turning his dreams into a reality! Not a single expense was spared in the building of this completely unique 1955 Studebaker Coupe! This Studebaker is what fabricator’s dreams are made of. The car was constructed from an original 1955 Studebaker Coupe and was then transformed into the car you see today. The paint is finished in a light red that looks excellent. The basecoat and clearcoat paint was applied in a professional manner and looks stunning. The chrome is in comparable condition and shines bright with a brilliant luster. You are not seeing things, there is indeed a custom bed added to the car, as well as a custom roof. This car is far from ordinary compared to what most are accustomed to seeing and you’d be crazy to think that this car won’t draw any attention at local car shows, car cruises or Studebaker conventions! Inside, the interior is upholstered with black leather with red inserts. The seats are in beautiful condition, showing no signs of wear or tear. The doors match the seats and are in great condition as well. The black carpet, headliner and dashboard are also in wonderful condition. The dashboard houses instrumentation from a 1996 Pontiac Trans Am and it looks great. There is also an Oldsmobile AM/FM/Cassette stereo. It should be mentioned that there are power windows, power locks, power trunk lock and cruise control. There is also a Vintage Air AC system so that you may keep cool on hot summer days! Under the hood, you’ll find an impressive LT1 350 cubic inch V8, also from the donor 1996 Pontiac Trans Am. The Studebaker is an excellent driver and has plenty of get-up-and-go! Mated to the engine is a 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. The car is wired up with a Ron Francis computer wiring harness and wiring kit. The car is also equipped with rack and pinion power steering and 4-wheel disc power brakes. The front brakes are 11” disc brakes and the rear are Ford disc brakes. Beneath the car sits a 9” Ford rear end, a Mustang II front end and full four-point Air Ride suspension. This car may be different looking, but it sure is built professionally and well! The car sits upon a set of 17” chrome Weld Racing wheels that are wrapped with P225/45ZR17 tires in the front and P245/45ZR17 tires in the rear. As mentioned, there is over $63,000 in receipts for the build included with the purchase of the vehicle, as well as some original photos from the build. This does not include the 2,000+ man hours of labor put into The “Spoiler.” The car has only traveled 3,211 since the build was completed.
