This truck was built by a friend of ours that was very meticulous during the restoration process to not only have the truck look great but be a superb driver as well. The project began with a super solid Arizona truck and after it was brought to Alabama the fun began. For starters the original front suspension was removed and replaced with a Heidt's independent front suspension with power rack and pinion steering and power disc brakes. The rear suspension was also upgraded with a 4 link set up with adjustable coil overs. After the suspension was finished a smooth running drive train was in order and consist of a rebuilt 327/335hp V8 backed by a turbo 350 automatic transmission. The rear axle is a chevy 10 bolt with posi-traction. Other features include air conditioning, chrome steering column with tilt wheel, Dolphin gauges, Lokar shifter and emergency brake, new wood bed, and all new interior. All the glass and weatherstripping has also been replaced with new along with all wiring. A custom hidden stereo has also been installed from Custom Autosound. The paint on the truck is a satin black with custom pin-striping and candy blue top and dash. The truck also sits on a new set of chrome American wheels and BFGoodrich tires.
