This is my personal Jeep... 1980 Jeep CJ-7 Odometer reads 76425 Inline 6 cylinders engine 4 speed manual transmission 4x4 with manual hubs I've had this jeep for 8 years - it spent most of the last 3 years of its life in a garage, not being driven very much. I bought this car from a multimillionaire cars collector from Coconut Groove who had the Jeep thrown in a garage for almost a decade until I bought it from him. This car has been my baby for the past 8 years. He claimed to be Shakira's former manager. I don't know. . . anyways. I used to drive this Jeep 3 or 4 times a week to work, about 7 miles from home, but it has been mostly garaged for the past 3 years because I have other vehicles to drive. I have never been off road; and it was built just for the looks. It runs great and it doesn't need anything more than an oil change and a wax. It does not have any engine noises and have the transmission and both differentials serviced not even a month ago. I had to replace the rear axel due to the fact that the OEM for that year is a 2 piece axel and it doesn't really work too well, I upgraded it to a Yukon 1 piece axel with 5 years warranty on it. I may still have almost all the receipts for all the work and regular maintenance performed to this beauty. I have pretty much done a lot of the things you see on the pics. List of things: - Winch Warn (Cost $795 + installation) - Winch Mount (Cost 150) - Roll cage bolted to frame. (Cost me $399 + installation) - Hi Lift extreme Jack ( Cost $130) - Tire Rack w/spare fuel tank mounts. 2 tanks of 5 gal. each. - Hadley Dual Air Horn. (Cost $450) - Safari Sport Rack (Cost $498 + installation) - Over head sound bar Includes integrated interior dome light (Cost $450) + 2 Sony X-pod speakers. - Subwoofer w/amplifier (Cost $279) - It's got another 4 speakers, 2 on the front and 2 more behind the doors. - Pioneer DEHP-6700MP CD player. 50wx4 w/remote. - The Jeep has 35" Tires. They're about 1 ½ year old, so there's still plenty of thread on them. (Pics of tires included below) It is really painful to say goodbye to my baby after all the work and money invested, but it was all worth it... It was a super fun experience and I will do it again as soon as I can. What can I say . . .IS A JEEP THING!!!!!!!!!!! Engine and Transmission: 258 cubic inch inline 6 - this engine is strong and reliable. Due to age, gaskets and rubber parts have needed to be replaced, here's a list of what was done: Water pump / Belts / Carburator rebuild / Clutch / Brakes / Gearbox / Battery I had Herculiner bed liner applied to the interior floor surfaces. The result is a basically waterproof tub. No rust anywhere. Also, the floor panel under the driver's seat has been replaced and reinforced, so no rust or issues there either... The back seat is original the two front seats are after market. The mid rise height is much more comfortable for long trips. The top is in excellent condition, everything works. Vinyl doors are included - they can be removed or attached by choice and they include a lock and steel rope for security when left attached. Call for more information or to check this Jeep in person.
