Collector Quality 1989 Bentley Turbo R that is in excellent condition with only 63,000 original miles. The Bentley Turbo R is the High performance Model with the“R” standing for “Roadholding”. Over the years Bentley has been synonymous with the term Luxury. They have been built in England with only the finest materials even down to the fine trim accents. The original MSRP’s for this year started at $195,000 for a Turbo R which was slotted higher then the Bentley Mulsanne S and the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit. This vehicle is a time capsule that has been well cared for over the years having recently relocated from Sunny Southern California to West Texas. Motor Trend called the Turbo R “The first Bentley in decades deserving of the famous name” in their review of the car on its 1989 introduction to the US. If you are looking for an extremely well cared for version that you can hop in a drive now, this Bentley will not disappoint as it truly is in excellent condition and appears many years newer then it actually is. The pain has held up great with just some fine nail scratches where the door handle is and the normal rock chips. Again, to find flaws in this car you wold just be nit-picking. All the Glass and trim are in excellent condition. Every switch and gauge we have tried seems to work as designed. I have to say the ride and drive on this car is amazing and far surpasses most modern built cars of today. 1951 Nash Statesman "Streamlined Aerodynamic" Bathtub Nash The Nash Statesman was built between 1949 and 1951, the cars proved to be very popular and found use in police departments around the US with a shorter wheel base then the Ambassadors. The Statesman power plant is known for its reliability and sturdiness from its decades old design of the L-Head Nash Light Six engine that was designed back in the 1920’s. By 1952 the “Bathtub” Nash’s ended their reign and to this date is still considered one of their most popular cars. This 1951, Post World War II, Nash is in amazing condition. The more you look at it the more you will fall in love. It is a time warp car all the way down to its oil change tags in the door jam. The car has had a repaint although the jams appear to be in its original finish. The trim on this Statesman is impressive from the bumpers, body trim, emblems and mirrors. The brightwork will not disappoint. I think it says a lot that this car appears to have lived a majority of its life in Sunny California as evidenced by its overall condition. The interior appears freshly recovered with a dark green and light grey two tone appointments. Please review the photographs as I feel you would be hard pressed to find an example in this condition.
