Their site has all High Def photos that are taken by a professional photographer and I found a pristine 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette with only 1,300 documented miles. I always wanted the grabber blue with white stripes. When I found the one D&M had for sale I knew I wanted the car because it was 2010 grabber blue with red stripe ( never seen the combo before ) I always said I would never buy a car sight unseen but everything just felt right. During that time I have had over 12 Corvettes and during the last 3 years I have been collecting High end classic cars. After working on a friends Corvette I got the bug to get another Corvette. I went to the internet site of D&M Motorsports . Their site has all High Def photos that are taken by a professional photographer and I found a pristine 1993 40th Anniversary Corvette with only 1,300 documented miles. I went up to D&M and Dave handled the sale. We settled on a price and I purchased the car that day. Because of the low miles on the car Dave arranged with Mike to deliver the car in an enclosed trailer to my home. Mike is the President & owner of D&M yet he took the time to deliver the car himself. Either you're so mad at the product or the seller you write a scathing report or you're so enthralled 2 days after you buy you gush with enthusiasm. DepositThe winning bidder is required to submit a $500 NON- REFUNDABLE deposit which is due immediately following the close of the auction. This $500 deposit is good towards the purchase of the vehicle and will be deducted from the total amount of the purchase (unless otherwise requested). We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX), PAYPAL and/or personal checks for the initial deposit only. Our maximum deposit/partial payment by credit card is $2000. If the vehicle cannot be picked up or paid for completely within 7-days from the close of auction, a $2,000 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to extend our hold period to 14 days, unless other arrangements are made beforehand (just keep us informed, we're human, we recognize unforeseeable events). Balance of Payment DueThe buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus ALL applicable fees and taxes) within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle and the vehicle needs to be paid for in full. We will provide you with proper sales tax documentation showing proof of the taxes we collect for you. Vehicle TitlesIn nearly every case, most vehicle titles are on hand and ready for delivery. Some vehicle need to be retitled to the dealer in Illinois, and some titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans in process of pay off. In these cases, there may be a short delay in receiving the title and/or documents which can take 10 to 21 days from the time we pay the vehicle off. While these instances are rare, D&M Motorsports guarantees that all vehicle titles are free and clear with no liens or liabilities on them. While we normally have all titles in our possession at the time of delivery, there are rare occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made via wire transfer or cashier's check, we will hold the title until ALL funds have cleared (typically 5-10 business days). The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. D&M Motorsports only contracts with fully bonded and insured transportation services that will deliver the vehicle to your door. We are not affiliated with any transportation company and we assume NO responsibility for damages that may incur after your vehicle leaves our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company. You will pay for the shipping costs directly to the transportation company unless other arrangements are made. The transport usually takes about 1-3 days to set up. Once the carrier is set up, vehicle delivery usually takes between 2 and 10 days after the pick-up of the vehicle and varies by location, weather, holidays, etc. Please keep in mind that we are NOT affiliated with any shipping or transport companies. Once shipping has been coordinated, you will be provided with the shipping company information immediately so you can stay in contact with them to coordinate drop-off times.
