1989 International 1954S Refrigerated Truck, I custom ordered this truck from the factory in 1988, since I was to be the only driver, I ordered every option that was available. I am still the only driver, it has never been abused, wrecked, or overheated and has been religiously serviced with no expense spared. It has been kept in a garage in California when not in use and is in excellent condition, both mechanically an cosmetically. Everything works, options include are the heavy duty 5 speed trans and 2 speed axle as listed, twin 51 gallon center step fuel tanks, hi backed Cushion Air drivers seat with a 2 man bench passenger seat, tinted glass, custom factory interior, air conditioning that works great, silicon hoses, air brakes, 12 CFM Bendix 501 compressor, air horns, tilt steering wheel, AM FM stereo with CD player, power steering, spare tire and under slung carrier and bright factory outer trim. The cargo box is a Morgan 20 foot Gold Star Refer body which is all set up for a carrier unit which we never needed so it wasn't installed. The cargo floor is 1.25" extruded aluminum floor, has a DOT under-ride 8" channel step bumper in the rear,a Todco Polar Guard door, insulated curbside side door, two work-lights can be switched from the rear door or the cab, 18" scuff plates on walls and front and rear 10" X 12" louvered vents. Also included are all factory service manuals and literature shown in photos along with original sales records and maintenance records if desired.This is a clean low mileage truck in excellent condition. The only reason I am selling it it the fact that my business is in California and the new AQMD laws here state that my truck will be illegal in this state as of January 2015 since it's model year is before 2008.Knowing the condition of this truck, I would have no reservations to jumping in it as it stands and driving it from California to New York, it has been freshly serviced and is ready for the new buyer to drive to any location in the country.
