Along the side were bodyside moldings, body sill moldings, and roof drip cap bright moldings. Bodystyles included a sedan, hardtop coupe, and a station wagon. Along with the base Nova, Chevrolet continued to offer the Nova Super Sport, available as a 2-door hardtop coupe. Distinguishing exterior features included a black-accented grille with the SS emblem position low on the driver's side. They had lower body moldings, body side accent stripes, and wheelhouse moldings. The owner just recently took this car in on trade for one of his classics, so we don't know everything that has been done to it over the years. It appears to be an extensive restoration completed about 5 years ago with some cosmetic and mechanical improvements this year. The original engine is long gone and has been replaced with a 70's era 350 small block V-8, mated to a Muncie 4-Speed transmission. It was repainted Chevy Red with re-chromed bumpers and new trim added in 2015. The interior was redone with SS style bucket seats. The undercarriage appears to have been redone and is in excellent condition. This car was built for performance in mind and as such there are no power options.
