The Mark V is a totally original car, including original paint, leather interior, engine, transmission, roof, carpets, all original factory stampings, inspection marks and just 89,000 miles from new, etc. It was bought from the original owner’s family in Monmouth, Oregon. It was a very rare find in this excellent, original condition. The previous owner is a large commercial farmer. I purchased it directly from his son and grandson. The owner was placed in an assisted living home. It had always been meticulously maintained, however the car hadn’t been driven for the last four years prior to me purchasing it. It was a rare, special order Mark V in Black with the White Carriage roof option (opera window delete) with full black leather interior. To my knowledge there was only one other 1979 Mark V ordered in this configuration, however, it was ordered with the less desirable velour interior. The Carriage roof was standard on the Bill Blass Designer Series. This car was a very lucky find. It is the last of the great American full sized luxury coupes. The design and proportions of the car were in my opinion, a work of art in a more modern era luxury car. It was the total refinement of the Mark III and Mark IV Continentals. There is now one in the Nethercutt Museum. I was getting very disappointed in my search. I was getting very discouraged and about to give up when I found this one under the radar. My stepson lives in Portland, so I asked him to go down to Monmouth to check it out for me. He was astonished when he saw it and persuaded me to come up immediately and buy it before someone else found out about it. He was right.The owner’s son was very nice. He let me take the car Les Schwab’s in Salem to get it checked out up on the rack. Coincidently, they had installed the existing Michelin tires on the car in 1992. When I got it home, I took it to a local carburation specialist to pull the tank and also to make sure that everything was proper in order to California smog, as it’s a 50-state car. My goal was to bring everything up to new reliability standards, as my wife would be driving the car at times. I have done all of the following documented mechanical repairs/service, and more:Full tune up, plugs, cap, rotor, timingFull C-6 trans service.3 oil & filter changes to purge out old oilComplete new brake system, including calipers, rotors, flex lines and pads. The Mark V is a totally original car, including original paint, leather interior, engine, transmission, roof, carpets, all original factory stampings, inspection marks and just 89,000 miles from new, etc. It was bought from the original owner’s family in Monmouth, Oregon. It was a very rare find in this excellent, original condition. The previous owner is a large commercial farmer. I purchased it directly from his son and grandson. The owner was placed in an assisted living home. It had always been meticulously maintained, however the car hadn’t been driven for the last four years prior to me purchasing it. It was a rare, special order Mark V in Black with the White Carriage roof option (opera window delete) with full black leather interior. To my knowledge there was only one other 1979 Mark V ordered in this configuration, however, it was ordered with the less desirable velour interior. The Carriage roof was standard on the Bill Blass Designer Series. This car was a very lucky find. It is the last of the great American full sized luxury coupes. The design and proportions of the car were in my opinion, a work of art in a more modern era luxury car. It was the total refinement of the Mark III and Mark IV Continentals. There is now one in the Nethercutt Museum. I was getting very disappointed in my search. I was getting very discouraged and about to give up when I found this one under the radar. My stepson lives in Portland, so I asked him to go down to Monmouth to check it out for me. He was astonished when he saw it and persuaded me to come up immediately and buy it before someone else found out about it. He was right.The owner’s son was very nice. He let me take the car Les Schwab’s in Salem to get it checked out up on the rack. Coincidently, they had installed the existing Michelin tires on the car in 1992. When I got it home, I took it to a local carburation specialist to pull the tank and also to make sure that everything was proper in order to California smog, as it’s a 50-state car. The body panels are all clean and straight. the interior is fair condition the exterior trim is complete and the skirts and hubcaps are all there. if you wanted to finish another hotrod project, well there are a ton of parts if you didn't want to restore this classic. This car was purchased brand new on the show room floor in Salem Oregon in 1969. Driven by the original owner almost till he passed away and then driven by his son until a couple of years ago. The front and rear bumpers suffer from "park by feel" but the rest of the body and trim is in very good shape for the age of the car. there is some surface rust but NO perforation. i have been under the car it looks good. The engine is a big block 455 Oldsmobile rocket motor. it starts and runs and drives,(around my shop). however, there is a rod knock so the motor is sold as parts only since it needs a rebuild. parts alone this car is worth a fair amount for grill, trim and interior and of course the olds 455 big block.

2006 Navy Blue Crown Vic Police Interceptor "P71" for sale with 87xxx miles "still driving it", runs great with no issue or check engine light. Smooth running engine and nice shifting transmission. I bought it directly from Salem, Oregon police department back in Oct/2012 with only 57000 miles on it. There are some holes on the roof, but covered and not leaking. Rear doors are only opening from outside, but I bought the missing parts last week and I don't have time to install it unfortunately. Clean title in hand. The A/C can be switched off/on, I meant by "Hot" that it can not be turned to "Cold". Other than that, the A/C is fully functioning, can be turned off, and can be switched from low to high .... etc. *Working A/C but it's not cold! ***Please be able to come or send somebody to inspect the car before you hit the "But it now" button or making an offer, or just buy it as is, SINCE THE SALE IS FINAL!*** ***Please don't hit the Buy it now button or make an offer if you are not willing to PAY!*** I have the right to end the auction earlier.
