Fully manufactured 2000 Superformance Cobra recreation. The only replica to be licensed by Carol Shelby. A "No-Expense-Spared" example built to exacting standards with second-to-none quality and finish. It features ultra-hot jet Black paint with white stripes and roundels that has recently been wet sanded and buffed by Ron Randall at Metal Morphous Inc. Beautiful Black leather interior with legend correct Smith gauges with reverse winding speedometer. Under the hood is a balanced and blueprinted 402cid (stroked 351 Windsor), "high-budget" V8 putting out over 500hp/500lb-ft. Only 4900 miles since new. It is equipped with electronic fuel injection by Imagine Injection. A $7000.00 option for just the unit, not including the Haltech fuel management system and all the plumbing and wiring that's needed for its installation. This induction system has the reliability and performance of fuel injection, but the look of Webers with 8 induction stacks. Edlebrock Victor Jr. aluminum heads, roller rockers and cam matched to the induction system. This monster powerplant is backed by a Tremec 5-speed transmission. The factory lowered suspension(option) is engineered to keep pace with the power utilizing adjustable coil-overs and large anti-roll bars. Other high-tech details include a fuel cell, high-capacity aluminum radiator, Willwood racing disc brakes, integrated xenon headlamps, brand new optima battery and Simpson full race harnesses. The audacious roar from the original-style headers and Silver ceramic coated side pipes let everyone know when you pull up in this menacing Snake. The superb panel fit, precise proportions, and show quality paint are complimented by correct details like the authentic Moto-Lita wood steering wheel, forward-facing shift lever, the same used in the original 427's, and real Halibrand style 6 pin knock-offs that are safety wired as the original. The overall look is astonishingly accurate. This sensational Cobra Recreation is very user friendly and blazingly fast. Superformance cobra's are not sold as a kit. They are completely factory built. No worries about who built it and if the job was done right. Factory tonneau cover and car cover are included. I also have a Serpent Express enclosed trailer made specifically for a cobra in excellent condition that can be negotiated in the price if you want to transport the vehicle yourself. It tows like its not even there. I'm asking $4,000 for it. ($6500 in 2012) If interested, email for pictures. This car would be over $85,000 to duplicate if ordered new, along with a lengthy wait. I encourage interested parties to give me a call at 917-678-0277. Ask for Mike Trades up or down considered for 61, 62, or C2 Corvettes, 67 FB Mustang GT, GT350 or GT500

UPDATE: Contact Mecum Auctions for sales information. (262) 275-5050 or [email protected]. You can also email us through this eBay Auction. On Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 in Monterey, California, the most coveted, historic, and most valuable American Sports Car sold on the auction block for A NEW WORLD RECORD PRICE OF 13,750,000. Carroll Shelby's CSX2000 started it all, "the first Cobra". Without CSX2000, it's probably a good bet, there would be no Shelby's today. It's probably another good bet, that without the help of the original owner this Cobra CSX2032, there may not have been anymore Cobra's made after CSX2000. As Carroll Shelby was getting ready to start production of the Shelby Cobra, Lance Reventlow was closing down Reventlow Automobiles Incorporated (RAI), the builder of the legendary Scarab Sports Racer. A deal was struck between Reventlow and Shelby, now Shelby had a plant to build his Cobra's, RAI's former manufacturing facility at 1042 Princeton Dr, Venice California. Shelby also hired master fabricator Phil Remington from RAI and also acquired a 1956 Fiat Series 306/2 GrandPrix transporter. that was used by Reventlow. Shelby leased the building from 1962-1967. During that time he won the 1965 World Sports Car Championship, beating Ferrari, the only American car manufacturer to do so. This Ebay offering is Shelby Cobra CSX2032, also known as the Lance Reventlow Cobra. All Cobra enthusiasts, please take the time to review this listing in total. The ad is a culmination of a painstaking two year research project. The project was completed via internet searches, document discoveries, correspondence with Cobra experts and former owners, and provenance supplied by all involved. This is the real story of CSX2032, backed by actual period documentation, prior owners statements, current owner disclosures, never before seen SAAC documentation, chassis documentation, and race photos never before made public.Take note that many other documents in our possession are proprietary, and will be displayed to serious buyers only. Race history for CSX2032 was unknown until now. NOTE: A special thanks to the Shelby American Automobile Club (SAAC), Ned Scudder-Cobra Registrar for SAAC, William Hansen and all other Cobra owners and club members who have assisted in establishing the historical chronicle of CSX2032. Without your participation, the complete factual narrative could never have been properly documented. You have our deepest gratitude. PLEASE CLICK ON THIS LINK TO VIEW TWO INVOICES FOR CSX2032. ONE IS FROM AC CARS IN ENGLAND TO SHELBY AMERICAN, 10/24/1962. THE OTHER IS FROM SHELBY AMERICAN TO LANCE REVENTLOW, 1/2/1963 : http://s514.photobucket.com/user/redeuce/library/CSX2032%20INVOICES The value of a Shelby Cobra is determined by the following factors: Documentation, supporting historical paperwork, ownership history, race history, production numbers, vehicle condition, original body, and original chassis. The minuscule total production run of the CSX Cobras dictates that any of these vehicles has great value. However, certain examples have significantly more value. Shelby Cobra CSX2032 is one of these examples. Currently, CSX2032 appears to be the most historically provenanced, lowest production number Shelby Cobra for sale worldwide. PLEASE CLICK ON THIS LINK AND VISIT THIS WEBSITE. THIS WEBSITE WAS CREATED TO DOCUMENT THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF CSX2032: www.csx2032.com There were 998 true original Cobras manufactured in the Sixties. Only 73 were fitted with the 260 Cu. In. engines. CSX2000 was the prototype chassis. CSX2032 is the 32nd scheduled Cobra for manufacture, and one of only 73 produced with the 260 Hi-Po engine. 75 were scheduled for production. However, CSX2044 and CSX2074 were held up in production. They were eventually delivered with 289 engines. Serious buyers, be patient, the ad is lengthy. However, this was necessary in order to provide the complete history of this rare vehicle. The ad documents CSX2032 from original delivery date with as delivered options, and details the complete ownership history until present. Any modification or upgrades by each owner is also revealed. In addition, various links have been inserted into the ad. Please click on them, both above and below. The links feature everything from copies of documents to period photos supplied by former owners. Take note that many other documents in our possession are proprietary, and will be displayed to serious buyers only. This Cobra is a legitimate piece of American Muscle Car History, and the story can now be told, with the respect that CSX2032 deserves. CSX2032 is available for inspection any time Monday- Friday, with a scheduled appointment. Please email us through Ebay or www.csx2032.com for an appointment. CSX2032 As displayed on the factory invoice, delivered in white with red interior. Base price of $5,995. Optioned as follows: aluminum rocker covers ($57), racing tires ($175.38), racing oil pan ($129.50), aluminum intake manifold ($95.95), competition ignition system and tach drive ($188.25), Holley carburetor ($58.95), sway bars ($126), single hoop roll bar ($152), seat belts ($20.95), front bumper guard ($35.95), rear bumper guard ($35.95), sun visors ($9.95), chrome air cleaner ($15), wind wings ($20.95), and rust inhibitor in the cooling system ($1.25), plus sales tax and license, for a total price of $7,493.75. Note that the vehicle was manufactured with many of the competition options, but also every other option available. Of the 73 total vehicles manufactured with the 260 Cu. In. Hi-Po engine, 62 were built as street cars. CSX2032 is one of these cars. The vehicle was ordered with certain competition options, but also several luxury options that would not be present on a Factory Competition Car. The fact that CSX2032 is somewhat of a one of a kind example as optioned, correctly labeling the car was difficult in the past. Some years back, SAAC updated the description of CSX2032 to Factory Comp Optioned, or Factory Competition Optioned Cobra, which accurately reflects the true essence of the Shelby. Also, contrary to rumor, CSX2032 is not the first off the assembly line with the 289 engine. Documents verify that the first 73 Cobras manufactured were fitted with the 260 Cu. In., 260 HP Hi-Po engine. Documents, date of manufacture, and VIN number sequence render it impossible for CSX2032 to have been a 289 car. LANCE REVENTLOW As verified in SAAC Registry documents, CSX2032 was billed from AC cars to Shelby American on 10/24/62, and shipped to Los Angeles. Also verified by SAAC documents, invoiced to Lance Reventlow on 1/2/63. Reventlow, the only son of Woolworth heiress Barbara Hutton, was a well known Formula One racer. Through his corporation, Reventlow Automobiles, he was also the distributor of the Scarab, a revolutionary open wheel race car designed by Tom Barnes and Dick Troutman. The Reventlow ownership is the most debated subject concerning this vehicle. There are four major versions exist: 1) Reventlow purchased and raced the car; 2) Reventlow purchased the car at the request of his father, to lure half brother Richard home from Europe; 3) Reventlow purchased the car to give Carroll Shelby’s business a boost, because they were friends and had business dealings concerning the Scarab venture; 4) Reventlow purchased the car, not telling his family, and had it put in storage. Truthfully, no one will ever know if any of these scenarios are true, or if there is another explanation. Most participles in the story have passed away. The speculation and guess work is a moot point. The fact that Reventlow was the original owner of CSX2032 is undeniable. Documents in the SAAC archives include invoice from AC Cars to Shelby American, Shelby American invoice in his name, and an invoice in Reventlow’s name for plates and registration. Invoice includes check numbers. It matters not how long Lance owned the car, how much he drove it, or if he did or did not race it. The documents prove positively that Lance Reventlow was the first owner of CSX2032, and there lies the provenance on the vehicle. There is absolutely no positive proof to the contrary. Therefore, this can be properly referred to as the “Lance Reventlow Cobra.” UPDATE AUG 3rd 2015: http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/03/motorsport/motor-racing-scarab-auction-bonhams/index.html You can also reach CSX2032'S Website by the domain: LanceReventlow.com LanceReventlowCobra.com SCU LOTUS CENTRAL FOREIGN CARS According to SAAC documents, CSX2032 was acquired by a company named SCU Lotus Central Foreign Cars in Michigan. Historical research could not uncover any information concerning this business. SCU in that time period referred to the very well known Sports Cars Unlimited in Canada. SCU was owned by renowned Canadian Formula racer Bill Brack. Sports Cars Unlimited served as the Lotus distributor for all of Canada, as well as a source for all rare and exotic sports cars. It is unknown whether the Canadian dealership took possession of the car, or if there was in fact a SCU Lotus Central Foreign Cars dealership in Michigan that owned the car. At any rate, during this time period, the first color change was applied, from white to red. OWNERSHIP IN THE SEVENTIES: In the late sixties/early seventies CSX2032 was purchased by Don Burgess, of Cedar Falls, IA. Burgess advertised the car for sale in August of 1974, listing it as an AC Cobra 289. It is unknown if Burgess did an engine change or just mis-advertised the car. Bill Kemper, of Barrington, IL. purchased the Cobra in the fall of 1974. This was a short period of ownership, but documents reveal at this time the Cobra definitely had a 289 engine installed. It is unknown if Burgess or Kemper are responsible for the engine change. The engine was described as a Hi-Po 289. Now the car was painted blue with black trim. At this point, large round Cobra badges and 5.5” wire wheels were still on the car and fiberglass scoop had been added. Kemper listed the car for sale in 1975. CLICK ON THIS LINK FOR PERIOD PHOTOS OF CSX2032 IN 1974 AND 1975: http://s514.photobucket.com/user/redeuce/library/CSX2032%20ARCHIVAL%20PHOTOS%201974-1975 Ron Ressman, New Berlin, WI. purchased the Cobra in late 1975. At some point, white stripes were applied. Inaccurate information was supplied to SAAC for this period, and the record is corrected here through new information obtained in owner interviews. Ressman has been incorrectly credited with the first restoration on the car. Mr. Ressman owned CSX2032 from late 1975 until summer of 1977, but did not restore the car. In the summer of 1977, William Hansen obtained the Shelby in a trade deal with Ressman. Mr. Hansen was living in Waukesha, Wisconsin. In this period of ownership, the vehicle actually fulfilled the original intended purpose, competitive racing. Hansen participated in several competitions at many high level racing venues, including Elkhart Lake, Michigan International Speedway, and Blackhawk Farms, winning the majority. CLICK ON THIS LINK FOR PERIOD RESTORATION PHOTOS, RACING PHOTOS, AND OTHERS FROM 1977-1978. THERE ARE DESCRIPTIVE NOTES BELOW EACH PHOTO: http://s514.photobucket.com/user/redeuce/library/CSX2032%20ARCHIVAL%20PHOTOS%201977-1978 In the fall of 1977, Hansen opted for a mechanical and cosmetic restoration. His choice of restorer was world renowned Cobra expert Bill Murray of Murray Racing, Longmont, CO. Bill Murray raced Cobras in SCCA, and his shop performed remarkable restorations. Mr. Murray repainted the car in black, an undeniably elegant color that graces the car to this day. Gold stripes were added to match Hansen’s Hertz Shelby GT 350 Rent-A-Racer. Bob Prouty built the engine. To dispel another rumor, the car did not have a K code competition type 289 Cu. In. engine at this time. The basis for the build was a non K code 289. However, an extreme amount of head work, machine work, installation of a Holley 780 CFM to replace the Holley 600 CFM, camshaft change, etc. elevated the performance to Hi-Po standards. Interior was changed to beige/saddle. Several upgrades were installed at this point. Mr. Murray was instructed to upgrade the Cobra to a level consistent with competition models. The narrow wire wheels were replaced with the wide wire wheels. This allowed the installation of larger Hoosier D.O.T. tires. Fenders were also flared slightly for tire clearance. Ballanger headers were connected to chrome side pipes. Side vents and an oil cooler duct were also installed. Mr. Hansen reveals that he actually stripped the paint from the car personally before delivering it to Murray. All three original colors- white, red, and blue were still present on the original body. Hansen also opted not to disturb the original chassis, as only approximately 40,000 miles had been logged. Hansen himself drove the car to Longmont to meet Murray. When Hansen advertised it for sale, the vehicle had approximately 43,000 miles. In the summer of 1979, Hansen sold the car to well known Cobra collector Joe Rodman Jr., Glenshaw, PA. OWNERSHIP IN THE EIGHTIES: Rodman kept the car for a while, then in the mid-eighties sold it to John Prokell, Bentleyville, PA. Records do not reveal any major modifications during this period. Also unknown is how many miles were logged during this period. It remained black with gold stripes, tan/saddle interior, and modified 289 engine during this period. OWNERSHIP IN THE NINETIES: CSX2032 next appeared on the showroom floor of Essex Motorsports International, CT., circa 1992. Herm Rosenman purchased the Cobra at an auction in Princeton, NJ in late 1993. Rosenman lived in Cherry Hill, NJ. During this ownership, the second significant restoration was performed. The body was repainted, again in black. The interior was dyed from tan/beige to the original red color. He also installed four twin choke Weber carburetors. George Sicz,of Toronto, CA. purchased the car from Rosenman in early 1997. A back injury spelled a short term ownership for Sicz. In late 1997, early 1998, Peter Klutte of Legendary Motorcars in Milton, Ontario, CA. took possession. LEGENDARY MOTORCARS: During this period, several modifications were made to the Cobra. This included, but not limited to, authentic Halibrand kidney bean alloy racing wheels, Goodyear tires, large racing numerals, competition style fuel filler with rear cowl splash shield, front fender spats, Raydyot competition mirrors, quick-jacks, and yellow racing stripes over the right front fender. CSX2032 appeared at the R&M Auction in Monterey, CA. in August, 1998, high bid was not accepted. Later, the Cobra was advertised for sale as a Factory Competition Car. Although possibly thought to be true at the time, this is now known to be false. As stated earlier, CSX2032 was not manufactured as a Factory Competition Car. The vehicle was ordered with certain competition options, but also several luxury options that would not be present on a Factory Competition Car. Shelby American never raced this car. In fact, only approximately 13 of the 260 Cu. In. cars were built as some form of Competition Car. SAAC updated the description of CSX2032 to Factory Comp Optioned, or Factory Competition Optioned Cobra. RECENT OWNERSHIP: CLICK ON THIS LINK FOR AN ADDITIONAL FILE OF CURRENT PHOTOS OF CSX2032, INCLUDING ORIGINAL CHASSIS WITH ORIGINAL WELDS: http://s514.photobucket.com/user/redeuce/library/CSX2032 CSX2032 was purchased by Richard Cohen, Delray Beach, FL, in June of 2005. After approximately one year of ownership, Mr, Cohen struck a trade deal on the car. In summer of 2006, an avid car collector took possession. During this period of ownership, some refreshing and upgrading has been performed. Still finished in black, but sporting a black interior. The competition brakes and rotors were redone. Also, the original frame and chassis, which had never been restored, were cleaned and refinished. The current owner of this beautiful automobile stores the vehicle in a secure, climate controlled building. The vehicle is currently in highly detailed, mechanically sound condition. SUMMARY: To summarize this lengthy history, here is an overview: CSX2032 can be correctly labeled “The Lance Reventlow Cobra.” CSX2032 left the factory with a 260 Cu. In., 260HP Hi-Po engine. As optioned, CSX2032 can be correctly described as “Factory Competition Optioned.” CSX2032 is one of only seventy three 260 Cu. In. Cobras, of that one of 62 street cars. CSX2032 has a winning race record from 1977-1978, first made public in May, 2015. CSX2032 has a more lengthy ownership history than most, but all are documented. Currently a 289 Cu. In. engine built to Hi-Po type specs is installed in the car. Extensive documentation and historical provenance is in the possession of both SAAC and several previous owners. Take note that many other documents in our possession are proprietary, and will be displayed to serious buyers only. CSX2032 still maintains original body, frame, and chassis. Although several upgrades and modifications have been added, all parts and components are proper and correct Shelby Cobra. Current condition is excellent, both mechanically and cosmetically. This is an extremely rare opportunity, to own not only a Shelby Cobra, but a documented and provenanced Shelby Cobra. CSX2032 is a bona fide blue chip investment in the future. Therefore, this can be properly referred to as the “Lance Reventlow Cobra.” SCU LOTUS CENTRAL FOREIGN CARS According to SAAC documents, CSX2032 was acquired by a company named SCU Lotus Central Foreign Cars in Michigan. This car is 6S825 and it is a factory Sapphire Blue Hertz GT350H, one of roughly 50-55 which were produced in 1966 by Shelby American! All in all, the story of 6S825 is one of great care and preservation. The car was originally delivered to S&C Motors in San Francisco and was rented out of the San Francisco Airport. After being rented, it was sold to a local and stayed in San Francisco until roughly 2009 when the second owner took the car to Washington State. The car was a California car almost its entire life and the benefits of such a life are apparent! The most amazing attribute of 6S825 is that it retains 100% of its original sheet metal as well as its original drivetrain which it left Shelby American with! It has never had any rust and has been lovingly maintained its entire life as opposed to being restored. I am the third owner of the car. The history of 6S825 is equally as unique as its originality. Unlike today, where GT350Hs are revered by enthusiasts for their history as “Rent a Racers”, GT350Hs used to be seen as “old used rental cars”. Owners of showroom delivered 66 GT350s would look down upon those who bought the used rental Mustangs! For that reason, 6S825s first owner went about accessorizing the car, like so many did, to ensure that the cars ex-rental life was not apparent. In order to accomplish that, he went about adding the white stripes and as many original “over the counter” accessories as he could! They include: original Cobra dual Carter carbs on the small letter Cobra intake, real Shelby wood wheel, original ten spoke wheels, rare AM/FM radio, January 1966 dated bench seat, “day-nite” mirror, an Autolite cigarette lighter/map light, and matching original blue Mustang rubber floor mats in front with complimenting blue knock off MG Mitten mats in the back since Ford didn’t sell rear Mustang floor mats. All of these accessories were available at the time through the Shelby American Accessories catalog in 1966-67. The fact that they are all still present on this car makes it an incredible “day 2” car. Many cars used to be accessorized like this, however, few still exist with similar accessories which makes the car quite unique! It is worth noting that, if someone wants to go back to "stock" with the car, the over the counter accessories which are on the car are far more expensive than the stock parts which would be needed. Adding to the uniqueness of 6S825, being a San Francisco Hertz car, is the fact that it features a very rare parking brake warning light underneath the dash! This was a feature which was exclusive to San Francisco Hertz cars, being that they had to park on so many hills, and only roughly 8 cars have been documented as having this parking brake light from the factory! Also rare is the fact that this is a MICO master cylinder car, one of around 200 cars to have that particular master cylinder from new after rental customers complained about the poor low speed braking performance of the Hertz cars. 6S825 has never been restored or disassembled. The benefit of never being taken apart is that the car drives like like a new Shelby would have in 1966! The suspension feels spot on and everything is tight. No squeaks and rattles to speak of. The car accelerates well, shifts through the gears smoothly, and the brakes work very well. The car also runs nice and cool thanks to a brand new 3 core reproduction radiator. It is worth noting, I also have the original WMO 10-65 dated radiator which came out of this car. It has been re-cored and is ready to be reinstalled if the next owner chooses to do so! I have kept the reproduction in the car simply because it is a bigger radiator and cools much better than even a re-cored original. Also included in the car’s spares is an extra, original MICO master cylinder in case the one on the car ever goes bad! This is a rare part to find! Interior is original from carpet to headliner. Without a doubt, the nicest original interior car which I have ever had the pleasure of owning. Every part of the interior is extremely presentable but has just that right amount of patina which makes you feel good about the car and reminds you of just how original it is. You can tell the car has always been used as it should be, however, has always also been well looked after. As far as underside, the car still retains its original 9-65 dated Konis on all four corners which is extremely rare. In the 70s-80s, when shocks went bad, it was cheaper to merely buy a new set as opposed to having old shocks rebuilt. Because of that, it is unusual to see such nice, original shocks on a car! Being a CA car, 6S825 also retains its original red oxide floors with factory overspray which have never been restored or messed with! I would be happy to provide pictures of the beautiful unrestored underside of 6S825 to anyone who would like to see them. Finally, the paint on the car presents itself extremely well. The respray on the car was done, I believe, in the early 80s but shows like a paint job with much less age on it than that! In fact, I just sent the car to the very best paint correction professional in Kansas City, Scott Meyers of Scott Meyers Auto Detailing. He did a wonderful job and, upon inspection, you would very guess the paint was as old as that. 6S825 is not for the guy that needs an absolutely cosmetically perfect car, but it is for the guy who wants a car which has never been screwed with, wrecked, abused, cut up, restored, or even taken a part. 6S825 presents itself extremely well and it has great integrity. The car displays the best bones you can get in one of these old Shelbys and it has served me well over the entire period of my ownership! It is a totally documented car which was in storage for 35 years with its second owner, completely unknown to the club. Hence the reason why the registry entry is pretty much blank. The Shelby VIN tag has never been off it and still has its original black rivets attaching it. All VINS were confirmed with SAAC registrar Howard Pardee by looking under the apron instead of removing the tag. All Ford VINs are present in the locations where they should be. Again, my thanks for taking a look at 6S825 and please let me know if I can answer any additional questions or provide any additional pictures. For the price, you will be hard pressed to find another car which retains 100% of its original sheet metal and its original drivetrain. The opportunity to purchase a solid and extremely original car like 6S825 is not one which comes around often!

And in the world of specialty Mustangs, the name Carroll Shelby has always been synonymous with extreme performance and big exclusivity. If you can find a pristine Shelby Mustang that's been correctly restored and has all the right hardware, you can get a serious investment grade classic with an upward value curb that seems to have no end. And if you've ever dreamed of owning a rare Shelby GT350 that's so nice it was awarded First in Class at the 2012 Mid-America Team Shelby Performance Meet, you've clicked the right icon! Packing a fully detailed K-Code 289 and a tough Toploader 4-speed in a freshly restored wrapper, this fully documented Mustang is 1 of 35 '67 Shelbys to wear a supercharger, and 1 of only 5 to be painted Candyapple Red. Are you a prospecting enthusiast who's looking for long-term gains via a pristine example of one of the finest muscle cars ever produced? Then dive right in and take a long look at this world class Shelby! According to this stellar pony car's Deluxe Marti Auto Works Report, it was assembled on May 4th of 1967 in San Jose, California with the following door data and options: DOOR PLATE:67 1967 model year2 289 cubic inch hi-performance V8 with Shelby modifications0 4-speed manual transmission0 Base vehicle (No air conditioning or thermactor)F Fastback9 Candyapple Red paint: Ford #2008-AA Black interior02309 Consecutive Shelby production number OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:Extra Cooling PackageCourtesy Light GroupFold down rear seatPower steeringPower front disc brakesInterior Dcor GroupHeavy duty batteryTachometer and trip odometer Assembled nine days behind schedule, this pristine '67 Shelby GT350 was shipped to Robie Ford in Dorchester, Massachusetts and likely saw very little showroom time before its awesome power and killer style were unleashed on Boston's mean streets. But, as with many cars, this Mustang's northeast christening was only the beginning of its journey, as the next two decades were spent traveling through the dry climates of Arkansas, Texas and Arizona. And at the end of the first muscle car boom, circa 1990, a highly detailed restoration, envisioned by a new sequence of owners, was started but never completed. It wouldn't be until March of 2011 when the car's current owner, an MCA Gold Card judge, would successfully execute a nut and bolt rotisserie rebuild. And that first class rebuild, which stripped and reworked all of the car's panels into a combination of super smooth surfaces and laser straight lines, was constructed of strictly original and NOS pieces. Once those pieces were fully prepped and displayed an excellent level of fit, a correct coat of Ford Candyapple Red basecoat was buried in a thick clearcoat shell. Once that clearcoat was completely dry, correct "G.T.350" stripes were laid over a fantastic, buffer-fresh shine. And the result is one top notch Shelby showpiece that's literally as close to concours perfect as any road-ready car can get. Shelby's GT line threw fuel on the muscle car fire by not only adding power, but also introducing some of the coolest and most aggressive Mustang design cues ever created. At the leading edge of this slick GT350, a pristine chrome bumper dissects a correct Shelby grille which hangs familiar FoMoCo driving lights between a fresh "SHELBY G.T. 350" badge, bright halogen headlamps and bullet-style parking lights. At the top of that grille, correct chrome lanyards lead the eye past a lightweight fiberglass hood to like-new glass that's framed by bright stainless trim, spotless stainless wipers and a correct chrome mirror. At the sides of that glass, correct Shelby scoops and correct Shelby fender caps combine with factory fresh Cobra emblems and traditional chrome door handles to provide an aggressive, yet finished appearance. And at the back of the car, a familiar Shelby decklid hangs a second "SHELBY G.T. 350" badge over traditional Shelby tail lights, a handsome Cobra fuel filler, a second chrome bumper, highly detailed reverse lamps and bright stainless exhaust tips. Now that you've waded through all the flowery prose about paint and stainless trim, it's time to get down to business. Lift this Shelby's glossy red hood and you'll find a fresh 289 cubic inch small block V8 that displays a correct C5AE-6015E casting number below an era-correct April (D) 18th (18) of 1967 (7) casting date. Completely rebuilt from its carburetor all the way down to its Ford Blue oil pan, this Mustang's Cobra Hi-Riser motor utilizes a heavy duty crank and rotating assembly, a hot NOS C30Z-6250-C camshaft, solid lifters and a correct C180802107 Paxton supercharger to transform stout 10.5 to 1 compression into an impressive 450 horsepower! At the top of that rugged Windsor block, a rare blower, dated February 10th, of 1967, jams oxygen into a big 4-barrel carburetor that's bolted to a correct S7MS-9424A hi-riser intake. At the sides of that intake, high performance heads, which were cast on February (B) 3rd (3) of 1967 (7), hang attractive Cobra crinkle-finish valve covers between a chrome Ford breather and date-correct exhaust manifolds that wear C7ZE-9431-A left, and C7ZE-9430-A right, casting numbers. The engine's fires are lit by an authentic dual-point distributor, fresh black plug wires and NOS BF32 Autolite spark plugs. Cooling for those fires is provided by an original radiator, dated from April of 1967, which sends water past a unique pulley fan via fresh FoMoCo hoses, reproduction tower clamps and reproduction screw clamps. Pressure for that radiator comes courtesy of new V-belts which spin a correct C60-F-A water pump between a rebuilt Autolite alternator and an era-correct power steering pump. And the whole process is kicked into motion by a reproduction Autolite Sta-Ful battery that jolts current through snazzy Autolite cables. Aesthetically, this Mustang's exceptionally detailed engine bay appears very close to original and features an even combination of satin black and Ford Blue paint under correct Ford decals. And everything, from the car's March of 67 (7) harmonic balancer to its April (4) of 1967 (7) C50E-6059-A front engine cover, is fully-sorted and absolutely spotless. Take one look under this awesome GT350 and you'll find exceptionally clean, expertly detailed floors that are every bit as solid as the car's straight exterior panels. Behind Ford's legendary V8 an original close-ratio Toploader 4-speed, which is branded with a Mustang-exclusive RUG-N1 build stamp, spins a correct open differential between tall 3.89 gears, original axles and an April (D) 10th (10) of 1967 (7) casting date. At the front of the car, rebuilt torsion bars hang a correct sway bar and factory power steering between fresh calipers and NOS rotors. At the back of the car, rebuilt leaf springs hang Shelby-exclusive 2.5 inch FoMoCo brake drums at the edges of a new stainless fuel tank. In the middle of the car, an aluminized true dual exhaust system funnels spent gases through a traditional H-pipe crossover, original-style exhaust clamps, long resonators and a reproduction transverse muffler that's complete with correct stampings. At the edges of the car, Ol' Shel's power flows to the pavement through correct E70-15 Goodyear Speedway rollers that are wrapped around razor-sharp Magstar wheels. And everything from this Ford's oxide-primered floors to its correct transmission crossmember, dated April (4) 21st (21) of 1967 (7), looks better than the day the car rolled out of the factory. Inside this killer pony car's impressive cockpit you'll find a correct deluxe interior that was painstakingly reconstructed using a stellar combination of original and reproduction pieces. Naturally, Shelby focused most of his energy on the performance and exterior appearance of the car; and when those attributes were combined with Ford's already excellent Mustang interior, it paid big dividends. The first thing you'll notice is an old school wood-rimmed and chrome-trimmed EPPI steering wheel that spins around a gold GT350 centerpiece. Above that steering wheel, a great looking dash frames a correct 140 MPH speedometer, a correct 8,000 RPM tachometer and a Ford AM radio in satin silver trim. In front of that dash, plush vinyl seats, which probably haven't broken double digit hours in seat time, present no evidence of sun damage or rot. Beneath those seats, new black carpet and bright stainless sills center an original Ford shifter between thick rubber mats and authentic Stewart Warner gauges. Above that carpet, an original black roll bar hangs original shoulder belts below a fade-free headliner. At the sides of that roll bar, stylish black door panels feature excellent stainless trim, spotless chrome handles and fresh silver accents. And at the back of the cockpit, familiar Shelby vents ride above a folding rear seat that expands a small cargo hold. As you might imagine, the sale of this investment grade Ford includes ample documentation. Enthusiasts that missed the early-buying boat have spent the last few decades running straight up a value curve that just won't stop. And when Carroll Shelby passed, the demand for authentic Shelby Mustangs hit an all-time high. Decked in full GT350 regalia, and featuring a hot 289/4-speed drivetrain, this professionally restored coupe is a literal embodiment of the storied Shelby spirit. And if you're a discerning enthusiast who demands the very best in high caliber, investment grade muscle, it's the classic you've been patiently waiting for! According to this stellar pony car's Deluxe Marti Auto Works Report, it was assembled on March 16th, 1967 in San Jose, California and shipped to Brondes Motor Sales in Toledo, Ohio with the following door data and optional equipment: FORD SERIAL NUMBER:7 - 1967 model yearR - Assembled in San Jose, California02 - Mustang FastbackK - 289-4V hi-performance V8 SHELBY SERIAL NUMBER:67 - 1967 model year2 - 289 hi-performance V8 that's complete with Shelby modifications0 - 4-speed transmission0 - Base vehicle (No air conditioning or thermactor)F - Fastback4 - Ford #1619-A Wimbledon White paintA - Black interior OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:Extra Cooling PackageCourtesy Light GroupFold down rear seatPower steeringPower front disc brakesInterior Dcor GroupHeavy duty batteryTachometer and trip odometer The beneficiary of a professional, ground up restoration, this slick 60s pony features a correct layer of Ford Wimbledon White two-stage that's highlighted by traditional GT350 war paint. Take one look down the sides of the car's rock-solid body and it becomes very obvious that great care was taken to ensure every panel is aligned to better-than-factory standards. Step closer to that body's mirror-like pigment and check out its straight and ripple-free surfaces, which are a product of both clean OEM sheetmetal and high quality replacement parts. Grab the pivotal pieces of that well-adjusted sheetmetal and experience the kind of excellent fit that's right at home reflecting a summertime car show. Then step back to admire one well-done classic that's built to exacting specifications thanks to a great combination of skilled workmanship and first-rate finishing techniques. Shelby's GT line threw fuel on the muscle car fire by not only adding power, but also introducing some of the coolest and most aggressive Mustang design elements ever created. At the front of this coupe, a mesh grille hangs a familiar "SHELBY G.T. 350" emblem between big Ford driving lamps, clear headlights and a bright chrome bumper. At the top of that grille, an original Shelby hood leads the eye to chip-free glass, which is founded in mirrored stainless trim. Behind that glass, correct Shelby quarter scoops ride between small stainless mirrors and a correct, SHELBY-branded decklid. At the sides of that decklid, a straight profile hangs correct Shelby cove scoops between traditional door handles and clean GT350 emblems. And at the back of that profile, correct tail lights and a detailed fuel filler complement a second chrome bumper, bright reverse lamps and beefy stainless exhaust tips. Now that you've waded through all the flowery prose about paint and stainless trim, it's time to get down to business. Lift this Shelby's lightweight hood and you'll find an original, 289 cubic inch small block V8 that displays a correct C5AE-6015E casting number below a February (B) 15th (15), 1967 (7) casting date. Completely rebuilt during the car's extensive restoration, that storied Cobra Hi-Riser twists stout 10.5 to 1 compression into an impressive 306 horsepower! At the top of the rugged Windsor block, a correctly decaled air cleaner jams oxygen into a correct aluminum intake via correct Holley carburetion. At the sides of that intake, high performance heads hang attractive Cobra crinkle-finish valve covers between a chrome Ford breather and stainless Tri-Y headers. The engine's fires are lit by a traditional points distributor, fresh plug wires, Autolite plugs and a familiar Autolite coil. That fire is kept at bay by a correct Extra Cooling Package, which includes new FoMoCo hoses, reproduction tower clamps and a fresh FoMoCo radiator. Pressure for that radiator comes courtesy of new V-belts, which spin a rebuilt water pump between a deep-groove Autolite alternator and correct power steering. And the whole process is kicked into motion by an Autolite-topped battery, which jolts current through snazzy Autolite cables. Aesthetically, this Mustang's exceptionally detailed engine bay appears very close to original, featuring an even combination of Ford Blue and Satin Black paint under correct Ford decals. And everything, from the car's fresh brake booster to its Carter fuel pump, is fully-sorted and virtually spotless. Take one look under this awesome GT350 and you'll find exceptionally clean, expertly detailed floors that are every bit as solid as the car's straight exterior panels. Behind the legendary V8, a 1968 Toploader 4-speed spins a rugged Ford 9-inch. At the front of that drivetrain, straight control arms hang a beefy sway bar and correct power steering between fresh rotors and 4-piston calipers. At the back of that drivetrain, correct leaf springs hang traditional, power-assisted drums at the edges of modern traction bars and a stainless fuel tank. At the center of the car, an aluminized, true-dual exhaust system funnels spent gases through an H-shaped crossover, dual-chamber Flowmasters and slick stainless tips. At the edges of the car, power flows through correct E70-15 Goodyear Speedway 350s, which are wrapped around razor-sharp Shelby 10-spokes. And everything, from this Ford's oxide-primered floors to its correctly marked driveshaft, looks as good as the day it left the factory. Inside this killer pony car's impressive cockpit you'll find a stylish deluxe interior that was completely reconstructed during the car's stellar restoration. Naturally, Shelby focused most of his energy on the performance and exterior appearance of the car; and when those attributes were combined with Ford's already excellent interior, it paid big dividends. The first thing you'll notice is an old school wood-rimmed and satin-trimmed steering wheel that spins around a silver GT350 centerpiece. Above that steering wheel, a great looking dash founds a correct 140 MPH speedometer next to a correct 8,000 RPM tachometer. In front of that dash, plush vinyl buckets, which probably haven't broken double digit hours in seat time, present no evidence of sun damage or rot. Beneath those seats, new black carpet and bright stainless sills center a simple shifter between a chrome fire extinguisher, thick rubber mats and authentic Stewart Warner gauges. Above that carpet, a sturdy black roll bar hangs correct shoulder belts below a fade-free headliner. At the sides of that roll bar, stylish door panels feature excellent stainless trim, spotless chrome handles and fresh silver accents.
