RennSport Motors The Enthusiast’s Choice Your source for quality collectible cars. Akron, Ohio www.rennsportmotors.com 330.620.5227 EXCEPTIONAL 1973 TR6 FRESH FRAME-OFF RESTORATION!!! VIN: CF14257U We are pleased to offer this exceptional 1973 Triumph TR6. There are very few TR6’s restored to this level as it can become very costly, very quickly. Pictures just can’t capture how stunning this car is in person. It has had a recent nut and bolt frame-off restoration. Everything is new or rebuilt and is in near-perfect condition. The body has had a show-quality bare metal repaint in beautiful British Racing Green. The car has never had any significant rust or accident damage, so it retains almost all of its original sheet metal. It is not full of filler and fiberglass like many TR6’s. The engine is original to the car. The interior is an upgraded Moss kit with leather seats. The top is perfect. The chrome is beautiful. The engine compartment is exceptionally detailed. The underside of the car looks like a model. MORE PICTURES For many more high-resolution pictures please follow this link: https://www.flickr.com/photos/97159808@N02/sets/72157648885378100/ On the road it runs and drives perfectly. The engine idles smoothly and accelerates nicely. The engine was completely rebuilt with balanced pistons, a slightly shaved head, ported intake, Richard Good GP2 cam and header meaning it runs much better than stock. It shifts perfectly through all the gears. It does not shake, rattle, or blow smoke. One short drive in the car and you can tell the quality of the restoration. The gauges, switches and lights function properly. The only thing that does not work is the horn. If you have been around old British sports cars this is not the rule! If I had to nit-pick the car I would recommend a nice stainless exhaust, but that is it. The car has been inspected and serviced by Layland Motors in Canton. Please see www.laylandmotors.com for information about them. They are the area’s best British car specialist. We are selling this great car on behalf of its current owner who is a long-time Triumph enthusiast. It has only been driven 443 miles since the restoration was completed this year. He took it to two local shows this summer and it won Best in Class at both. At some point in its life it was titled by the State of Ohio as a 1974 TR6 but the commission number and everything about the car indicates it is a 1973 model year TR6. This is a great opportunity to own a completely restored TR6 at a fraction of the restoration cost. TR6’s are appreciating nicely and this investment-quality example will certainly be worth more in the future! Please go to our website at www.rennsportmotors.com for information on our unique business!! We specialize in hard-to-find collectible cars, especially British cars and older Porsches.
