Fees and Taxes. 3.5.1. Dealer Fee. I charge a $199 dealer fee, which will be added to all transactions. This includes winning bids, buy it now prices, and best offers accepted. I don't make exceptions for other licensed dealers. A dealer fee covers administrative papwerork and overnight postage as well as detailing fees for each vehicle. 3.5.2. Sales Tax. 3.5.2.1. Florida Buyers. I am required to collect sales tax at the rate applicable in your county at the time of sale. 3.5.2.2. Out-of-State Buyers. If you have the vehicle shipped to your location, I do not collect any sales tax; you will be responsible for paying your state's sales tax directly. If you come to Florida to pick up the vehicle at my location, I am required to collect either your state's sales tax, or Florida's 6%, whichever is less. Generally, you will receive a credit in your state for sales tax collected here. If I collect our 6% because your state's rate is higher, you will be charged the balance in your state. If the actual cost of title and registration is less than the estimate, I will refund you the difference; if the actual cost is more that the estimate, you will be required to pay the difference before getting your tag and title.
