Once the vehicle is paid for they overnight the title to us and from that point we then mail it to you (UPS with tracking). We do it this way because we are approximately 10 minutes from the nearest port, and if somebody steals a vehicle and title and then take them to the port they can get the truck out of the country, and it has been an ongoing problem for a while, although it has lightened up the last couple years. We have approximately 30 days to provide you with a title or we have to bring you your money back in full (minus miles) and come get the vehicle from you, and we are also Bonded in the State Of Florida so we have to provide you with a clean and clear title unless stated otherwise in the description of the vehicle. Fee and Tax Information: As far as taxes are concerned, we do collect your state sales tax. So for example, if you live in Alabama the tax rate is 2% so you will pay 2% taxes to us and we will give you a DMV tax credit form that you take with you to the DMV showing that you have already paid your state taxes of 2% (or whatever your state tax rate is). You will be responsible for any county or city surtaxes (usually .5%-1%), we just collect state taxes because Florida is reciprocal with 47 of the 50 States. Please call us to see if your state is recipriocal with Florida and also to see what your state sales tax rate is (some states have 0 sales tax rate, but you must have a Drivers License with that states address).
