When paying by bank to bank wire transfer, you immediately get the signed clear Nevada title. We also accept final payment from your lender if this is arranged in advance. We will accept a Cashier's Check that is verified - Cashiers Checks can only be verified weekdays during regular banking hours. We hold the title for ten days after final payment by Cashier's Check. Again, final payment by bank to bank wire transfer is preferred and you get the signed clear title upon receipt of the bank to bank wire transfer or upon pickup of the vehicle. We have a clear Nevada title in the name of Gold Hill Motors for every vehicle offered on eBay Motors. We are happy to scan the title and email it to you. We offer free airport pick-up for buyers at nearby Reno airport which is served by many airlines including Southwest. Most of our very simple documentation is sent via email and can be returned by email. Fee and Tax Information: Doc fee of $99.00 is charged on every vehicle. This covers cost of FedEx (both directions), notary if required, and incoming bank-to-bank wire transfer fee. Sales Tax: We do not have to charge sales tax to a buyer from outside of Nevada. The vehicle can be picked-up at our location without sales tax. A notarized statement of non-Nevada residency is required (the notary is only available Monday through Saturday during business hours). There is a fee of $8.25 for a 15 day drive-away permit. You get the signed clear Nevada title. If a vehicle is shipped outside of Nevada, there is no fee of $8.25 and a drive-away permit is not issued. The signed clear Nevada title is sent to you via FedEx. Nevada residents pay the local sales tax rate at the Gold Hill Motors location which is 7.10% plus a Nevada DMV title fee of $28.25. Nevada residents receive a placard good for 30 days of operation. Smog Inspection: Gold Hill Motors is located outside of Washoe and Clark counties in an area where a smog inspection is not required. If you (as the buyer) live in the parts of Clark or Washoe counties which require a smog inspection, there is an additional fee of $75.00 for a smog inspection.
