Factory roof rails will support over two hundred pounds of cargo.Less than 1,000 of these '96 & '97 TDI wagons were imported to North America, and they're hard to find in working condition, let alone un-modded, and the wagons sell for well above blue book. I know it might be wacky to put this, however given the rarity and desirability of these wagons, there are shuttles every few hours to Bloomington from IND, as this is home of Indiana University. So if you flew and drove it back, it's like $15 to get from the airport to here. Just saying. :)

1971 Volkswagen Bus Campmobile Best year for the bay window as it is the first year for front disc brakes and last year for stand up easier to work on engine. This is a nice original condition Campmobile in Chianti Red with Pastel White Roof, bumpers and wheels. It was refreshed about 13 years ago, by the previous owner when the engine and transmission were rebuilt and the suspension, brakes and mechanical were attended to as well. The bus has been driven about 2,000 miles since that time and the body had some scratches, dings and nicks that give in that lived-in look, not a trailer queen. Comes with a very rare children’s hammock and the interior is in nice condition. Engine, transmission, mechanicals and brakes were all just recently gone through by 35-year master Volkswagen mechanic. Tuned, adjusted, replaced and in very good working and running order. You can jump in this bus and take for a cross country drive without any concerns. Especially after I install brand new Hankook 195-75-14 whitewalls that are not yet shown in pictures (had to order).I purchased with the intention of taking on weekend vacations and reliving my youth; my wife wasn’t interested in doing the same..HA! Comes with brand-new-in-the-box receiver hitch that has never been installed. Plan was to mount a bike rack on the rear but we ended up getting foldable Brompton bicycles instead that just fit right into the trunk. Speaking of the trunk, there is a small raised dent on the drivers side of the trunk lid from closing the lid on a box that was too big. I'll try to get a photo of that and post it tomorrow. Car is located in Longmont, CO. There is no warranty but the car is in very good condition and drives beautifully.

Incredible condition. *Car had a problem with the odo way back in the 1990's...was repaired but exact miles unknown.I called Experian and they told me that the odometer repair is the only issue on there report...and that is why it scored lower than it should, totally ridiculous. Clean Colorado Title in my name. Automatic-Transmission shifts perfect Original glass, engine, radio, cloth seats, dash, headliner. This car is fun and reliable. Interior is in amazing condition!!! Tires are very good. All gauges working. Non Smoker/pet car. Always stored in the garage. No noticeable dents or dings. No leaks, or smoking. Perfect headliner. Excellent condition dashboard. No accidents. I have the original manuals and one original key. I cant find the original cigarette lighter. Paint has some minor blistering on drivers side. I have owned the car since 2009 and love it. I will help with shipping, but the cost is the buyers responsibility. I hope this car to goes to a vw person. Happy New Year.
