2004 VW GTI 24V VR6 6sp manual Reflex Silver Metallic exterior with black GTI leather sport seats 151,xxx miles (about 12.5K miles/year) Located in Royersford, PA (about 30 miles west of Philly) Price: $6500 - pretty firm due to the amount of money into this car (approx $15K in repair/mods since 110k miles and complete overhaul done in past 3K miles at APR Tuning - see receipt in pics) Adult owned and garaged its entire life. I purchased the car in June 2012. The original owner had a fully documented maintenance history in the glovebox done at VW of Fredericksburg, VA up to 130K miles every 5K miles like clockwork. The car is running perfect now and I have had almost every wear and tear item on the car replaced, with a major overhaul done in the past 3K miles. It has been a garage queen for me for the past couple years and only driven on weekends. I am selling because of small twins now here and too many toys I don't use much. That being said, it could be driven across the country tomorrow without any issues. Overall Condition New PA inspection and emissions recently completed w/ stickers valid until Sept 2016 with new front and rear brakes/rotors, and all 4 tires done at inspection. The wheels on the car are in mint condition with zero scratches or curb rash. All lubricants changed when inspection was done. A more complete list of recent repairs is shown below and in the pics. A/C blows cold. There are no check engine or warning lights lit and no leaks of any fluids. All power windows/locks, instruments on dash, lights etc work fine. The car needs nothing mechanically and is one of the nicer cosmetically you will find. I would rate the interior/exterior condition 9/10. This car drives like it has 30K miles and I invite anyone looking for this model to drive this after others with less mileage. The engine pulls as hard as it did when new and virtually every mechanical part on this car has been replaced and the bulk of them have been done in the last couple thousand miles (as outlined below). Modifications ($7K in very slight, tasteful mods- rest of car is 100% stock) -ECS Stage 3 Suspension Refresh Kit (incl. lower control arm kit w/poly bushings,Inner/Outer tie rod ends, lower balljoints, upper strut mounts/bearings, and steering rack dust boots -Eibach Pro-system suspension kit with all new struts/shocks/springs -United Motorsports tuning software -Halo headlights -Smoked taillights & sidemarkers -APR Sport Exhaust - very classy looking and sounding (deep and throaty, not raspy) -APR Stage 1 Cold Air Intake -17-in RS style wheels with polished lip with new Yokahama tires on all corners. Exterior No accidents or body filler work has ever been done to any part of the metal body, straight as an arrow on every panel. The paint on the body is original and still has a rich shine to it. The car was parked in a garage for many and it looks that way. The paint is original so there are are light visible imperfections such as scratches and touched up spots (not professionally) that can be seen under very close inspection, in direct sunlight. Although it is not show quality, the car looks great and gets compliments anywhere it goes. Interior The interior of the car looks barely used with no tears or stains and has been well kept. I recently replaced the floor mats with rubber GTI OEM mats. There is a small 1-inch split in the stitching on the driver's seat (shown in pics) and minimal wear on the bolster from getting in and out. Other than that, the interior looks as close to new as you will find. Everything in the interior is OEM stock, including the factory VW Monsoon sound system. There are no missing trim pieces or cracks in any plastic pieces. The shift linkage is very smooth and all electrical items work. The car comes with the OEM flip open key fob, original owners manual, and spare tire came with the car new. The car was not ever smoked in and we have no pets. Mechanical Since I have owned the car in 2011, I have done numerous big money repairs all with OEM VW parts done by a certified VW mechanic: Done this past year: Yokohama tires (4) - $600 New brakes on all 4 corners - $475 If you cannot read the receipt in the pics from the complete engine maintenance overhaul done April 2014 w/148K miles at APR Tuning for $2800, it reads: Sachs Clutch Kit Flywheel, Dual Mass Timing chain-upper Timing chain-lower Lower Chain tensioner and guide Upper chain tensioner, upper, upper front, upper rear Coolant flange Coolant pipe Crossover pipe Rear main crankshaft seal Coolant-G12 Transmisison oil 75W-90 Valve cover gasket Driveshaft, LF EGR valve Also done in the past 10K miles since 140K miles: Eibach Pro-system suspension kit with all new struts/shocks/springs (w/ECS Stage 3 Suspension Refresh Kit) ($2500) Replaced all 4 coils and plugs ($475) Replaced both O2 sensors ($350) New MAF ($200) New battery ($150) The original owner who had the car until 2011 left the entire maintenance history in the glovebox all done at the Fredericksburg VW dealership every 5k miles (can be seen on the Carfax as well) which included the following major items: Work from prior owner since 110K miles an additional $8K in repairs: New alternator @ 129K miles ($350) New front hubs/wheel bearings @129K miles ($600) New fuel pump @ 120K miles ($575) New AC compressor/condenser and flush @ 120K miles ($1100) Brand new transmission done at dealership @ 110K miles ($4700) DETAILS & TERMS: This GTI is in my garage in Royersford, PA (30 miles outside Philadelphia, PA). Inspections are encouraged and welcomed PRIOR to the close of the auction. All sales are final after the auction though. It has a clear & clean PA title in my name.
