My Brother in law transferred to a job in Vermont and left his jetta for us to deal with. The title is LOST...YOU will Have to obtain a SALVAGE TITLE. I dont have one just the car and the keys. We are selling it as a parts vehicle. Its a nice 4 door Jetta 5 speed manual trans. Has 135100 miles on it. ITs a shame the body is in great shape just dull from sitting for a few years. The interior will need to be cleaned out and scrubbed also. She is stone dead at the moment so it not started and UNTESTED i havent even tried to jump it we would like to just let it go AS IS. 1994 Volkswagen Jetta GL 5-Speed Manual 194,000 Miles Pennsylvania Inspections/Emissions good until July 2016 $2,000 Up for sale is a 1994 Volkswagen GL that I bought in May 2014. I am the car's third owner and purchased this for my sister to drive. She has no need for the car and I don't need a second car. The car has all standard features of the GL plus recently charged air conditioning (blows 40-degree air), cruise control, and sunroof. An aftermarket Kenwood head unit and speakers have been installed in the vehicle. You'll be hard-pressed to find a car with an interior as clean as this one! Normal tear inside and out - This car is really a joy to drive and very fuel efficient! However, a few items still need attention: • Central locking system does not work (doors lock manually) • Very slight sputter under heavy loads at low RPMs • Airbag light is on (used to come on and off intermittently) • Check engine light on (OBD I car, can pass emissions testing with light on since OBD I computer) • Cruise control module needs to be replaced ($40 fix) The car was garage kept by its first owner. The body is in very good shape. There are some scuffs and small dents that come with age. Remarkably, there is very little rust on the car. The only rust is near the gas filler neck. This car would be terrific for a first car, to modify, or just to have a car to drive around town. I have paperwork and receipts for many of the repairs. Also, I have a few extra parts, including a front set of struts for the vehicle that will be included in the sale. Price is negotiable, but keep in mind the amount of new parts in the car increases the value over Blue Book or Edmunds pricing guides.

Up for sale is a 2000 VW Jetta TDI. I have had this car for roughly 4 years. It's a great car but I was just ready for something different. Here are the details. At 221000 the following was done using all oem parts:-heater core-timing belt and water pump-.205 injectors-rebuilt 17mm injector pump-all front end parts replaced- Koni shocks and struts all the way around-New electric fans-south bend clutch-clutch slave cylinder-front wheel bearings-VR6 front brakes and rotors-rear brakes and rotors-Headliner and all other covered trim pieces-GTI 18" BBS wheels-new windshield-fresh paint on front bumper and hood-all fluids changed-new tstat -new inercooler Car is in over all great shape with normal wear and tear on exterior. There is a small crease on the rear driver side of the car. I had a PDR guy do what he could with it. It isn't very noticeable. Car has three almost new tires. The fourth isn't too bad. The sunroof doesn't work. Air is ice cold. The kenwood dvd unit has all the bells and whistles including hands free calling. The interior is clean and ready to go. This car runs great and will run for many more miles. Synthetic oil has been used for every oil change. Fuel filter was changed every other oil change.

This was my fathers daily driver since 2007 and when he bought it it had roughly 70k miles on it. He drove it to work in the brooklyn/bronx and parking it well you know what happens when you park in the 5 boroughs people play bumper cars, so the body is ROUGH. The right person who knows how to find body parts in same color can make it look decent for not too much money but its not the kind of car you buy for perfection or restoration anyway so who cares. Can be a knock around car or beater, maybe a parts car if you need a drive train for something else. Either way i cant use it and have no interest in working on it because i have other cars to attend to. my father passed away last year and im looking to recoup a few bucks to go towards the expensive funeral costs. That is pretty much the low down on the car as to why i have it and why im selling it. I do have the carfax on it my father was 3rd owner. It had one fender bender in its life but was repaired and is not a salvage vehicle the title is clean and clear and is being sold AS IS..... I put a new ignition coil in it, a new dog bone trans mount. and from what i remember the timing belt was done not too long ago along with a tune up. Is it perfect? no (if you want closer to perfect buy a jetta for 3k to 4k!!!!!!!!!!!!) will it start and drive? yes would i buy it if i know nothing about cars? no does the ac/heat work? yes does it need anything? its a low price 16 year old car and in this price range it would need things like any used car so don't ask me dumb questions as i am very honest with this sale and have 100% positive feedback on here. is there a check engine light on? YES there is a light on for cam sensor, (does it effect running and driving?) NO. it is probably just the sensor or connection to the sensor.is that hard to change? if you know cars not too bad and not an expensive part but as you know if you take it to mechanics you will get raped regardless because that is what mechanics do....lol the battery is used but has life left in it. the wheels are aftermarket alloys and need to be refinished but if you spend a little time and elbow grease and spray paint they can come back to life. not my style but you can plastidip them.... the tires are holding air and have tread are they new definitely not! the keyless remote needs a battery and im not sure if it works or not i never bothered to try it. but you can lock and unlock doors manually unless your lazy then i suggest fixing that. yes there is hood pins,,,, why? the previous owner put them on because hood latch broke and when that happens on a mk4 you can release the hood so instead of buying the right part he used hood pins. it is what it is but the car does come with 2 used hood latches and a prayer is you feel like messing with it. for those who care about cosmetics......fenders for mk4 jetta are cheap, other body parts can be had cheap in a u pull place like harry's u pull in hazelton pa. so if you don't like how ugly it is don't cry about it, go do something about it as there are an easy 30 to 40 mk4 golfs and jettas in harrys u pull yard and parts are cheap considering. Reasonable offers welcome, don't waste my time and i won't waste yours!!!!!! for those of you who do not have experience on ebay read this----->keep in mind ebay/paypal fees are not cheap so no bullshit offers that will leave me with close to or lower than scrap rate.also EBAY takes the fees whether or not you complete the transaction (meaning if you back out and screw me i still have to give ebay money for the sale and thats just wrong on the buyers part)so if you commit to offer or buy it now you must commit to complete transaction with payment as well. if you put in an offer be prepared to complete transaction in a timely manner not 4 weeks later. i am understanding but will not hold car for 3 to 4 weeks. if you cover my fuel/time/tolls costs i can deliver the car within reasonable distance (not bumblef*ck wisconsin) as long as payment is in my hand prior to the delivery. Looking to sell my '04 VW Jetta. I've been the sole owner since purchased new. Car has had regular maintenance. I've joined the Peace Corps and am moving out of the country at the end of the month, so I need to sell this quick! Car was recently detailed and had an oil change. Car runs well.
