PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MILEAGE IS IN KILOMETERS Selling my '03 Wolfsburg 1.8T. As much as I love the car and the way it drives, I'm a student and my budget does not allow me to keep it. The car is in great condition mechanically, no check engine lights. It has never been modified. I have always maintained it to the best of my abilities. Visually there are a couple of dings and scratches from normal wear and tear. There is a tiny bit of surface rust on both wheel wells. My mechanic told me that I shouldn't have to worry about it right away because I constantly wash the car. The car has heated bucket seats, heated mirrors, Bluetooth phone system, Air Conditioning and a sun roof. The car comes with winter tires on steelies, and Brand New Cooper RS3-A Performance summer tires on BBS rims. Some of the work done on it in the past are - Brand new back brakes and rotors (1 month) - New oil pan (4 Months) - Spark plugs (6 months) - Right side CV shaft replaced (1 year) - New flex pipe welded in (6 months) - New muffler (1 year) I have never driven the car hard, or redlined it. It has armrest storage, in-dash cd player, auxiliary cable port, and tons of cup holders built in.This car gets great gas mileage and is cleaner than most other cars on the road based on the Smog Emissions Index. It has a convenient folding key. I am the second owner of this vehicle. I have the CARFAX report from when I purchased the car with 26K miles on it. I have had it since 2010. It has never been wrecked or had any body or major engine work. I keep the oil changes current, every 8,000 miles with synthetic, as recommended by VW. The car has a few scrapes and dings, and the headliner is beginning to give, but is in otherwise great condition. The interior and exterior still shine like new. This car is fun to drive and very quick for a 4 door. I average around 26 miles per gallon in this Jetta, but I'm sure a lighter foot may do better. Only mechanical issues: The rear window defroster is inoperable. I have never had it checked. Could be a fuse or something more, it just has never bothered me. There is an in dash light indicator that relates to tire pressure that stays lit. My mechanic investigated this and determined that a sensor was damaged in the last tire installation. It can be fixed, but I didn't want to spend money on a sensor. I have the tires checked regularly when the oil is changed. There is also a check engine light that comes on occasionally. I have had it tested to determine the cause and nothing ever comes up. My determination is that there is another sensor somewhere that is malfunctioning.I have enjoyed this car, it is actually my second Jetta and third VW. I am selling because I bought my dream car and won't be driving this anymore. Please come and see it. I promise you will love it. It would be a perfect car for someone with a commute, a student, or a young family. The ratings are excellent and I have never had any mechanical problems. No warranty expressed or implied. This is a used car. I have tried to describe authentically. You can come and see and drive it before you buy if you would like.
