I bought this car from a VW dealer back in October 2007 after the original owner returned it from lease. At the time I purchased, it had 33k miles on it. Now, the car has just under 77k miles. I drove it exclusively on highways in Texas. I have taken excellent care of it mechanically and have detailed maintenance records. I have always used synthetic oil and have done all the major maintenance items that are needed once it gets to this age, things like timing belt, transmission fluids, tires, and brakes. All of the maintenance has been done by dealers and independent VW Master Techs. I am asking for $4000. NOTE: I will only accept a cashier’s check that we can get together at a local bank.
