Hi! Thanks for looking. I am selling my mother's 1995 Volvo 960 with 88,693 miles. This is a rare car to find nowadays with such low mileage. My mother has owned the car since 2006 and prior to her there was only one owner. The car runs great and shifts great, however, it will need a few minor repairs. My mother rarely drives the car - hence the low mileage. The car also sat for 18 months and then taken to the shop last month where the windshield was replaced, fresh oil change, new battery, and new hood arm. The vehicle has just passed Massachusetts inspection. Please note - Driver side auto-lock. Remote will lock and unlock, but only the driver side door doesn't unlock. The driver side door was replaced after a minor collision in 2012. The paint has deep scratches due to snow being removed with a shovel. SEE PICTURES! Air Conditioning - needs to be repaired. Check Engine Light is on. Multi Disc CD Player - needs to be repaired. Comes with original Volvo 960 Manual and Service Record book. Some service records will be included. First, I'm sorry the pictures were taken after it rained so it made the car look dirty. This car was used daily until the electric fan stopped working. It could be a bad/dirty sensor in the fan. There's a smoke coming from the oil dip-stick hole. My mechanic said piston ring(s) went bad and it's causing a "blow back" smoke up the dip-stick hole. The car still runs but it's overheating since the electric fan stopped working. The exterior is in great shape! No Rust, California car from first day it was bought from dealership. No dents, maybe couple of dings if any, there are scuffs in both bumpers. All electrical work great. Original stereo system with cassette player and I believe there's a multiple CD player in the back/trunk. Power window, all work fine, and sunroof/moonroof works fine as well. The AC works but it needs a freon recharge. Heat works fine. Power seat and heated too. As for the interior, it's in fairly good shape. The 2 front seats both have torn leathers but the seats feels nice and you can just throw seat covers. The back seat is in near perfect condition. It had 112,xxx miles when I got it from my cousin early this year. The car was fully serviced before his son stopped using it to leave for college and it was parked for 2-3years. Brake Cylinder was done in August 2011 with 111,160 miles on it. The timing belt was replaced at 72,750 miles. It was serviced at a Volvo Dealership all the time. This was a 3rd vehicle (back up vehicle) for me. My brother started driving it daily for 6 months and 2 weeks ago the electric fan stopped working. This car is sold AS IS, no warranty, and sale is final. Getting the vehicle in person is preferred but if buyer wants/needs vehicle shipped, all cost and arrangement of shipping is Buyer's responsibility. This powerful, accident-free and rare 6-cylinder Volvo 960 sedan has served us reliably for 8 yrs without much complaint. Serviced regularly, initially at Volvo dealership before we found a reliable Volvo specialist mechanic from Europe. I should keep this machine, but we need the space. It's been sitting in the garage since I started traveling for work. Engine runs great. Pulley for timing belt makes some noise and needs changing. Lately transmission light comes on and off. Check-engine light is on; dealer says it's because of Volvo's extreme sensitivity with air/fuel ratio -- no big deal. Mileage hit 200K, but remember that well maintained Volvo's last forever.

Although it has treated our family very well, we're selling our 1995 Volvo 960 Sedan (in fair condition). It's blue-green, has a moon roof, leather interior, heated seats, multi-disc CD player, and all the other trimmings of a fully loaded 1990s Volvo. It has only 105,000 miles on it.The car runs great and doesn't have a lot of miles on it, but has a few non-essential defects that I'll list so you know exactly what you would be getting:- Antenna no longer retracts- Fuel door hinge broke so the fuel door is off (I still have the door)- The fuel gauge is unreliable (stops going down once it hits the halfway point)- The driver side power seat slider doesn't work- One stereo speaker goes in and out- Some wear and tear on the interior wood paneling and leatherThe car handles well, has plenty of giddy-up, excellent turn radius, and of course since it's a Volvo it is as solid as a tank. It passed a smog test in February 2015, and has a clean titleKelly Blue Book says it's worth $2,500 in Fair condition, but we can knock off a little for the known defects listed above. I'm looking to sell it fairly quickly, so will strongly consider any reasonable offer.

This has been a great car for me. One of the last great Volvos, This car was well maintained and shows it. Not perfect, but very nice, and comfortable. Everything works except air conditioning does not blow cold. Safe and dependable. Looks very good inside and out. Some of the leather on doors has pulled away, shown in pictures. An easy fix to make it look new again. Power everything, Key less remote entry heated seats. Big moon roof. I really like this car, it has never let me down. Timing belt and water pump changed at 144000, good tires. Classy , luxury car for not much money. A nice strong car. rear wheel drive. Could be driven anywhere today ! If you know Volvos you know what great cars these 960s are, built like a tank and made to run almost forever. I drove this car over 500 miles in the last week. even sitting in traffic on a hot day. No problems. This is a very good car, but keep in mind it is used, and a 1997 may show a little wear but overall looks very nice. I would keep it, but have another car and don't have room for both.
