just a great 1996 Volvo 850 for $1996 , amazingly smooth ride.. (this is a model/year that built Volvo brand as "safe, reliable, good looking" before Ford took it in year 2000-2005, http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/overview.aspx?year=1996&make=Volvo&model=850%20Wagon ) runs and drives great,AC ice cold, inspection done few months ago, clean title, looks very good for age and it is loaded with :leather, side curtain airbags all around, power everything, heated seats, volvo premium sound... it is a two owners car and I have service records from 1998 - present (dealer serviced most of the time) , not so perfect things: few battle scars on bumpers, driver's seat leather is cracked, oddometar is stuck for past year or two on 148K (this car was used twice a month for past 4-5years) and from time to time abs/traction light comes on but since car drives perfect it was never fixed (mechanic said that speed sensor might be a problem for oddometar and abs/track lights.. car is worth every penny that I am asking (I would not be affraid to go to Ca with it) but I will listen to offers .. my phone number is 434 229 1742, open to deliver for a small fee..

Beautifully restored 1967 MGB GT... last of the desirable steel dash GT's. Restoration done by a previous owner about 5 years ago. During the restoration, the following was completed: *repaint of the original blue plus painted on custom white center stripe*new chrome bumpers*new front badge bar, custom badges and euro driving lamps*new exhaust*rebuilt 1.8 MGB engine from a 1971 MGB (about 5,000 miles on rebuild)*converted carbs to new Weber carburetor*new Moss oil cooler*new bullet style mirrors on each wing*brand new interior (black seat covers with white piping trim, new carpet, new gauges, new dash top, new mats) The photos tell the story. This is not a #1 show car but a very nice driver and priced accordingly. Wire wheels with excellent rubber. Spare wire wheel and spare in trunk. 4-speed (no o/d)... chrome wheel well interior mounted fire extinguisher, MG radio delete plate. Glass is very good all around as is rubber trim. Runs and drives great. I had the car at 70 mph on the highway last week and it was not pushing the engine. I would not hesitate to get in and drive this car cross country tomorrow. No oil leaks under car. All fluids and filters changed this summer. Recent tune-up. Rust... there are three small areas where rust is not visible but small bubbles can be felt under the paint. I've included photos of all three areas and the fact that you can't really see anything is the point- they are hardly visible. These areas are below the drivers side door, next to the passenger side door handle and the cowl seal in front of the windshield. The car is very clean underneath and was sprayed with a sealer during the restoration. The only other area of need is the area of trim around the edge of the headliner. It is discolored slightly. Sun visors have been removed and are in the trunk if the new owner wants to re-install them.

My collection is primarily 1960's/70's European sports cars but I couldn't resist recently taking this fun Ford Falcon beach wagon/movie car in trade from another collector. The Falcon doesn't really fit with my collection so I'm offering it up for sale (unless you have a Volvo 1800, 122, or 142 you'd like to trade). Wow, does this wagon get attention just driving around town. This 1964 Ford Falcon 4-door station wagon lived it's entire life in Texas and Florida before being sold to the previous owner in Virginia a year ago. It is clean and rust free except for a very small (size of a nickel) surface spot on the lower end of the tailgate. Originally all white, the lower part was painted gray by an earlier owner. While the photos look great, this is not represented as a show car- it looks comfortably lived in with a nice patina that I would keep if I was the next owner. In person the gray is a bit darker than shown in the photos- which were taken this week in bright sunlight. It is, in my mind, a very cool surf wagon that would hold it's own next to all the VW Busses, Jeeps etc on your next cruise to the shore. I'd call it a 25 footer with the usual dings and marks of a car that has been driven...that said, it would certainly not look out of place at any car show or cruise-in. The chrome is nice all around including the optional Falcon roof rack...The glass is also very good all around. The interior, I am assuming, was redone at some point, but looks very original and is very clean. The carpet is dark gray and in good shape. There are lap belts front and back. All gauges work except for the left turn signal. This wagon has an electric rear window which goes up and down as it should, but will sometimes stick for a second or two. All windows crank as they should, and all doors close tight. Tires are good wide whites with maybe 50% tread left mounted on standard 13 inch Ford rims. The car starts first time/every time and runs great. It's not fast... but then you'll never be in a hurry driving it. It's an around town cruiser which begs you to drive it with your right hand on the wheel and your left elbow out the widow. Under the hood is the very durable 200 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine mated to the Ford Falcon 2 speed automatic transmission. The odometer and title show about 131,000 miles and I believe it to be accurate. All motor fluids were serviced last fall and less than 500 miles ago. The car shifts as it should with no thump between gears. Brakes are good. Some nice extra's are included for the new owner: an original 1964 owners manual, a 1964 Ford shop manual, the original cylinder head (red), Ford logo rear rubber mats and a spare original Ford AM radio. The car currently has a neat repro (modern made to look old) am/fm radio with dash top speaker. The dash is original and has never been cut for the radio. I'll include the original 1964 Virginia license plates if the buyer is from Va. and wants to keep them with the car. If all that isn't enough, this Falcon Wagon has the added cache of having had a cameo in a famous movie- "The Rookie", starring Dennis Quaid in 2002. It's the true story of a Texas HS baseball coach who gets a second chance at the major leagues (Google it). I suspect the reason the previous two owners resisted doing any additional cosmetic work on the car is that it still looks exactly as it did in the movie and why mess with a good thing. During a shot from the movie (see photos) you can see the Falcon towing a small u-haul trailer. I was told the Disney company beefed up the rear end a bit as a result. Otherwise, the car was sold by Disney after use in the movie to an earlier owner in Florida, before it came to a car collector in Virginia. There's a custom front license plate that you can see in the photo's identifying the car as the same one that was in the movie. It's a cool conversation starter especially if you're a baseball fan. The 8 foot fiberglass surfboard doesn't go with the car but if you want it- let me know and we can work something out. Also offered for sale locally so the listing may be ended at any time. Get in touch through Ebay email if you have any questions or want to see the car in person. The Falcon is located about 2 hours southwest of Washington DC

Up for sale is my 1972 Saab Sonett III with clear Virginia title and 61,115 miles which is actual. Always garaged when not driven, this is the classic car in my collection that gets more looks and thumbs up than anything other. Last week I acquired a new project Volvo 1800 and need the garage space soon. The previous owner did a mild restoration a couple of years ago which included paint (an orange/ red non original color) over the original blue. I just had the seat inserts professionally rebuilt with a custom black fabric- replacing the original rust colored cloth. I think it's a dramatic improvement. The rest of the interior appears to be original and is quite nice but not show quality. Carpets, door inserts and headliner are all very good. A new radio was installed last month. There is and never was a/c. A Saab Sonett factory service manual is included. I see typical areas of surface rust underneath but otherwise everything is solid. I had one small rust through hole directly underneath the battery tray in the trunk about the size of a quarter (typical of the Sonett). I patched the hole and the entire area was treated with POR 15 sealant. The rubber bumper strips have been removed front and back and, in my opinion, improves the look of the car. This is a fiberglass body car which means no body rust. There are no cracks in the fiberglass anywhere. The Sonett needs only a few minor things: the temp gauge works intermittently and I am unsure if it's the gauge itself or the connection...the parking brake cable needs to be replaced (I have a new one that I will include with the sale), the windshield wipers stopped working though I hear a click when the switch is engaged so I believe this is another wiring issue that needs sorting. The V4 engine starts up easily and idles smoothly. You'll enjoy the truly exotic and distinct exhaust notes that is part of the fun with the Sonett's Ford sourced V4 engine. There are no oil leaks! I just put on a brand new FordMoCo carb last month which is the direct replacement original carb for this car. The clutch works fine and the 4 speed transmission shifts as it should. The battery is a brand new Sears Die-Hard. Glass all around is very good. All four tires plus spare are mounted on recently painted Saab soccer ball style wheels with about 75% or better tread remaining on all tires. The pictures tell the true story. Not a #1 condition show car but a very rare fun and affordable driver quality 2 seater sports car. Sonett's are jumping in price over the past year after years of being ignored by collectors and Saab collectors, they are finally getting the recognition they desrve. Enjoy the car as a driver and a solid investment. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the option of ending this listing at any time without notice.
