I don't want to take my time showing it to someone who doesn't have the money or isn't able/ready to take the van. Runs very strong has very strong motor, has good brakes, just bought new remanufactured battery, I've replaced the high pressure steering hose, voltage regulator, steering wheel belt, added a locking gas cap, and replaced the windshield wipers motor, and I replaced the starter June last year.I just replaced the front tires with a pair of good used tires, the back right has fair tread, I also just replaced the spare with a good used tire, it's no longer on the back like in the pic on account of it's on the van. The back left tire needs replacing.I had the plugs replaced a few months ago but didn't get it a full old time time tune up. The previous owner had the exhaust manifold done a couple of years ago a $1k repair. The paint is fair to good condition, it has som nicks and some dull places, and a few surface peeled places at the back. The original curtains are still on the 3 larger windows, it has a luggage rack, trailor hitch, chrome visors over the the front windows, a medium tint, mud guards at the back tires, running boards. The van is 2-tone tan with a brown stripe, the roof is off white or cream, it has custom green valour inerior including the walls, ceiling, and doors, the carpet is brown. The interior is in fair to good condition there are some minor worn and stained areas and small minor holes in a few places. I don't have any of the rear seats, you'd have to get those from a salvage if you want some. The black box on the back of the floor is the rear air conditioning unit it isn't removeable, it's bolted and glued to the floor and has hoses connected from it to the front air unit someone who knows their way round vehicles could remove it if you wanted it gone. A bench seat use to sit over it. Issues: 1*the oil sender line has a leak (I check the oil every week), 2*muffler has holes, 3*tail pipe has holes, 4*needs the tie rods replaced, 5*possibly needs ball joints; I sometimes hear a pop sound when I put the van in reverse - 6*the gear shifter needle doesn't work(worked when I got the van), 7*the gas needle isn't accurate but does offer a little guidance of how much gas there is. I think it's a 4th to a 3rd inaccurate; it sometimes shows a little less than there is, sometimes a little more. I think it needs the floater needle replaced but am not sure. It did work well when I got the van 9*The rubber between the side and back doors needs replacing cause rain gets in only when it rains hard and I keep old curtains lined at both doorways to help absorb the rain. 10*The heat was never much warm, but blows warm enough to defog the windows during the rain and cold and the defrost will melt very thin ice, but will not warm you in the winter. 11*The air use to work very cold when I got it, but the ac pully went out 12*The fan has always lightly blown with the air and heat turned off, 13*also it has to be adjusted from heat to air manually under the hood (takes less than 10 secs) because the vaccum switch no longer changes from heat to air inside the van. 14*I've never got it a oil change. 15*It sometimes idles high while driving and it will not go faster when it does this I'll ease up off the gas then reaccelerate and this makes it stop idling high. 16*The van is cold natured and has to warm up at least 2 mins even when hot out and longer, at least 8 minutes when it's cold out, 17*You have to pump the gas peddle several times and hold it down for the van to crank and it starts right up, then lightly hold the gas peddle down for 20 to 30 secs once it's started to keep it revved up. It runs strong without any dying problems once it's warmed up. I've always had to pump the pedal to get it to start but not as many times as now18*The previous owner took the cover off the horn, likely because every once in a while it will not honk; this seems to be maybe when the wheel is turned a particular degree19*the wires of the radio have to be connected and disconnected to operate the radio. 20*There is minor body damage to the back right corner of the bumper, on both sides of the back right tire and a rounded dent on the left side door. Has some rust on the wheels and the back left tail light is cracked on the bottom, but the crack doesn't appear to be loose. I bought the van in Lawton Oklahoma March 2013 and it's gotten numerous compliments. When I got it it hadn't been driven in about a year and also had set for some time prior to the last owner buying it, but traveled nicely from Lawton to Oklahoma City (an hour and a half trip)for an old timer that had set a while. The previous owner got it from a Lawton car lot and says the lot changed the plugs and oil before he took it. The tires had like new tread when I got it but had numerous weather cracks from sitting and they all shortly blew within weeks of each other. I saw the registration history and it's traveled and was registered in Texas a couple of times. A classic dodge van is getting hard to find in fairly good or good condition. Many think this shag mobile is a little older than it is and it has generated a lot of compliments, it makes for a great shaggin wagon, movie prop, business prop, hunting, camping, or fishing wagon, etc. Cool van to use as is with a little tlc or A small restore project. I'm not in a hurry to sell. Price is firm and least $500 less than I have in it.
