Up for sale is an all original 1969 Ford Falcon station wagon. This car is equipped with a 302 ci V-8 engine and 3 speed on the tree manual tranny. I bought this car last September outside of Redding California. It has been in that area its whole life. I bought the car not knowing if it runs or not. Owner told me it ran when parked (we have all heard that before). I bought the car knowing if the engine is bad that I can replace fairly cheap. We loaded car on trailer and brought her home. I decided when I got home to go pick up a new battery and some gas and try to start her up. To my amazement the car fired right up. No knocks, no ticks, no smoke, no sputtering, and not even an exhaust leak. This car purrs like it should. I was pretty excited. I then decided to drive her up the road. I pushed the clutch pedal in and it went down like it should of but did not spring back. I guess I figured out why the car was parked. I figured clutch was bad. I got out of the car and I heard the clutch pedal jump back into normal position. I was surprised and called a friend and asked him about this and he told me it was very common for the old Fords to do this. There is a couple of plastic bushing in the clutch pedal assembly that wear out. They are $4 parts. You will need to pull the pedal assembly out to do this. Its not a big deal I was told. You can still drive the car, but if the pedal sticks, you just tap it with your foot and it pops back. When I bought the car, the tires had some dry rot on them so I bought a brand new set of tires for the car and had them installed. I have driven the car for about 40 miles since I brought it home. The new tires have only been on it for less then 10 miles. When we had car on lift we checked out everything underneath the car. and everything looks great. The car drives down the road straight and stops as needed. This is an unmolested car. This car still has the original paint job. As you can see in the pictures that the top of the hood and roof are faded. As for the body. it is fairly straight with an exception of some light dents and dings. The biggest dent is on the rear passenger door by the handle. This is a very easy fix for any body man. There is also a common dent on tailgate from where car was jacked up with the old style bumper jack and car rolls forward. The jack then leans forward and dents tailgate. I did it a long time ago, so I know. At one point someone did some body work by the rear window which I took a picture of. The car does have all of its original trim. There is a couple of dings by the rear window. The grill is in very good shape. The front bumper is pretty good also. The rear bumper is decent but does have a couple of dings in it. It also comes with a trailer hitch as you can see in picture. As for the interior, it is a California car, It could use some work. Its does need a headliner and seats recovered. The door panels are decent driver quality but not perfect. I do have a complete set of headliner bows included with the car for the headliner. The dash pad is cracked. I have bought a couple of parts for the car that I will include with it. Even though it is a California car, I have found a couple of common spots of rust. First is by the battery tray which is common on all fords this generation, There is a picture of it. The second spot is on the drivers floor about a 3 inch area on the left side, it would be an easy patch job. The third spot is on the bottom of the rear tailgate. It is on the bottom inside edge where the door closes. It is also and easy patch area. Everything on this car is rock solid. The rear tailgate either opens from the side or from the top. There is NOT third row seating. Car is has all four of it poverty hub caps (my favorite feature of car). This is an original V8 car with NO power steering or brakes. There is no air conditioning either. This is a great 45 year old car. This car was brought back from California last September and has never seen salt. The car is now located in Kenosha Wisconsin. It is an hour north of Chicago and a half hour south of Milwaukee Wi. Buyer will be responsible for shipment of vehicle or picking it up. I will not quote any shipping costs. That will be your job. I will help shipper as needed to load vehicle. I have a clear California title for car. I will require a $250.00 deposit via PayPal at end of auction. If you come and pick up vehicle and its not as described, I will refund your deposit. Vehicle will not be released to shipper without full payment. We can workout any details as needed. THIS PRICE IS SET IN STONE.

Here it is! Enveloped in History and One of the Rarest Cars on the Planet! A Factory 1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Hardtop 9 Passenger Station Wagon with Sunroof and Luggage Rack 472 c.i. 375 h.p. @ 4400 rpm 10.5 to 1 Compression Ratio 525 Torque ft. lbs. @ 3300 rpm THM-400 3 spd. Trans. Rochester Quadra-Jet 4V Carb. 19'2" Over-All Length 130" w.b. 5200 lb. Gross Vehicle Weight, $10,961 MSRP in 1969 With only 14 manufactured in 1969 it's said that only 6 still exist in the world today! Body by Fisher and Conversion by Custom Craft Division of Automobile Specialty, Detroit, Michigan. Other wagons were owned by Supreme Court Judges, Country Singers, Dean Martin and Jeff Dennis to name the few... Jeff Dennis a Real Estate Developer and Founder of the R-Ranches of California purchased this "First and Favorite" of many Cadillacs for his Personal and Business Collection. Besides this 1969 Fleetwood Wagon he also owned a 1972 Fleetwood Wagon and a 1976 Fleetwood Wagon and several Eldorado Convertibles, this 1969 Station Wagon is the only Hardtop and the last cadillac from that collection. These vehicles were all purchased by Mr. Dennis "brand new" for his personal use while on the Ranches and as Courtesy Cars to accommodate his prospective and current customers thus the Low Mileage on this Classic, they pretty much just stayed at home and on the range! In 1969 several Cadillac Fleetwood Wagons served as Indianapolis 500 Courtesy Cars to shuttle the V.I.P's of the Speedway, Racing Team Big Shots, Drivers, Team Members etc. to and from the Track, Hotels and Airports. It's been stated that up to 6 vehicles were in service and although the odds are good that this may one of those vehicles we have not as of yet been able to certify or document that. The reason for bringing this up is that there is a "Commemorative Plaque of Appreciation" mounted on the dash. With an Offical Seal of the Indianopolis Motor Speedway, saying "in Appreciation of Courtesty Service 1969". We have been trying and still are in touch with the Indy 500 museum and searching the internet to get this documented or at least a picture of it in service, Mr. Dennis passed away so as of this writing all we have is the plaque on the dash. : FYI Mario Andretti in his Hawk III / Ford won that race over Dan Gurney with an average speed of 156.867 mph and paid $206.727 in winnings for his Victory... After spending most of it's traveling life in the state of California as a Courtesy Car for the R-Ranches it was taken out of service and stored back in 2001. Resting peacefully at one of the R-Ranches the R-Wild Horse Ranch in Redding, CA. Then around 2010 brought to Smith River, CA. to the home of Bill Dennis recently retired Drift Boat owner, Outfitter, Avid Fisherman and one of Jeff and Shirley Dennis' four children. There it has sat in storage, again peacefully resting in his garage until this July (2014). Bill contacted me to resurrect this last remaining Classic Wagon and get it ready For Sale. Stating he wanted the car to be driven and appreciated rather than just sitting in storage, he wishes he had the time to dedicate to this Rare One Owner Family Vehicle but recently admitted he just does not. Thus this "Once in a Lifetime Chance" your only chance to own and conduct the restoration of this Classic Historical American Road Ruling Timepiece! Why me, well Bill and I grew up together since back in the 50's and Bill knows of my Expertise and Experience with Classic Cadillacs, Performance Hot Rods and Show Cars. Having recently retired myself from Vic Hubbard Performance Auto Supply a World renown Speed and Marine shop and parts supplier since 1949, where I managed the Wholesale Division for the last 20 years. I know Hot Rods and I know Classics! The work on the Fleetwood thus far: Engine and Transmission both completely flushed, filters changed and worn gaskets replaced. Road tested over 500 miles, it's Running Strong, Responsive with no leaks or smoke whatsoever it just ran Cool, Quiet and Reliable! New Brakes, completely done with new Wheel Cylinders, Front Brake Hoses, New Master Cylinder, New Rear Shoes, New Front Pads and New Brake Hardware all around.
