This is a 1969 Z/28 that has been in storage for awhile and has not been driven. The DZ302 engine is original and date coded to the car but the VIN stamped on the pad is a couple of weeks earlier than when this car was built. It has the early trim tag that has never been off of the car. The VIN tag on the dash and the hidden VIN stamp on the cowl look original from the factory and do not appear to have been tampered with. It has all the Z/28 indicators from the single 3/8" fuel line, 4-leaf rear springs, extra support plate for the muffler, original BU code 12-bolt posi rear end, power front disc brakes, deluxe rear bumper guards and a date coded replacement 660 case Muncie transmission. In addition the car has AM/FM radio with factory speakers in the kick panels and power steering. The car was repainted in the original color Fathom green and I think much of the dark green standard interior is still original and in very good condition. The paint and body work are nice but not perfect with a small scrape on the right quarter panel from somebody backing the car out of a garage (you can see the scrape on the picture of the car on the lift). I recommend having the car inspected because it is being sold "as is" with no promises or guarantees .

Up for your consideration is a nice solid example of a 1984 Z/28 Camaro with the L69 High Output engine option. This has been my dads' cruising car on days where it's nice enough to take the T tops off. We are losing our storage space and we had a tough choice to make. We ended up deciding that it's better to let the car go to someone that has a place to store it because leaving it out in the weather just isn't right. Clean and clear KS title in hand. The Z car has been a car that was taken care of, but didn't go without being driven somewhat regularly. It is a very original example of a 1984 Camaro Z/28. From the double snorkel air intake to the High Output 5.0 badging this car is an 80's icon through and through and still has the styling to keep up with modern sports car looks. All of the option features work as they should except for the cruise control,windshield washer sprayer,and the passenger safety belt won't reel back in. It has some rust on the rear quarters and it does have exhaust smoke. The floor pans are original and solid, no leaks out of the T tops. It starts easy and goes up the highway nice and smooth. I have to say that it's a great feeling having the tops off and cruising up the highway, it's where the car is happy at. The tires are new within the last year and it stops with a nice firm brake pedal. Power hatch option works as it should and the hatch struts pick up the hatch with no problem. The hood struts are also fully functional and work as they should. A/C blows cold air , but in all honesty I would recommend having it serviced to get the maximum cooling capability. The gauge cluster was upgraded to a Dakota Digital unit at 94,000 miles. I still have the original dash cluster that will go with the car at time of ownership transfer. I could go on and bore you with all of the option codes this car has, but I know that stuff is fun for a new owner to look up. One of the cool things I have learned is that this car was crowned "The Best Handling American Car" by Car and Driver magazine in 1984. It is one of the more loaded up models and is only short a couple of options from being a full order sheet car. Some of the options include all of the windows being factory tinted, 4 wheel disc brakes, tilt wheel, dual power mirrors, power locks, and power windows. All in all this 84 Z/28 H.O. is a very solid example of one of the last factory muscle cars with a carburetor . If the new owner is needing delivery I am available to do that. Car was owned by a Little old lady by the name of Doris who purchased it new. She didn't like the Z stripes so had them removed. In 1987 the car had 26261 Miles and in 1991 it showed 26700 showing how little it was driven yearly. She stopped driving the car in 1992. Car has sat in her carport covered ever since. INTERIOR Minor problems with interior are... Headliner is starting to come down (I think that it can be saved and wont have to be replaced) Door panels have 3 small screws added at the bottom to hold them flat to the door. 1 plastic loop that holds the shoulder harness belt on 1 seat is broken Dash looks fantastic. Excellent color and detail. Gauge faces are bright, not faded and all lights work as good as they did in 1974. Seat cloth is nothing short of amazing. No rips tears or wear. Carpet is excellent. Buzzer still works when the key is inserted and the reverse lockout is intact and works perfectly. Never smoked in (ashtray looks like new) Weatherstripping is not cracked or dried out. Doors shut beautifully as the hinges are solid and both rollers excellent. BODY There are a few small dings and small dents but nothing major. (please see pictures) Car has 1 spot of rust where a mud flap screw was installed but otherwise she is rust free. (amazing for a Colorado car). Undercoating is mostly all intact with the exception of under the battery area but even that is very solid. Trunk looks fantastic. She still has the original bumper jack and wide oval spare (used) PAINT Paint is a 7+ out of 10 in my opinion. There are some typical chips and scratches that you might find on a car this old but it still looks great as you can see. There is some overspray on the windshield wipers. It is possible that the paint was touched up but I don't think it has ever had a complete repaint. Looking it over I dont believe it has ever been in a serious accident. No obvious signs of bondo or serious work being done. ORGINALITY This is a numbers matching original engine, not a replacement. Some of the parts I can confirm that are original to the car are.. Engine Transmission Rear end Carburetor Alternator Distributor Starter Just to name a few. Car still has the original spiral shocks Posi Tag Original rear drums with the factory CM stickers intact. DRIVE-ABILITY She drives amazing, Like going back in time to 1974. The steering is tight and straight. Shifter is tight. Clutch feels great (no chatter) Motor sound great and pulls nicely without smoke or issues. Choke still works great. Really amazing. I had the AC checked and charged and it blows cold. All functions work on this car including the AM radio. Note that the original gas tank and radiator are not in the car but I have them both. Radiator looks like it only needs 1 neck repaired. I'm not sure why the tank was removed as it is clean inside. There are no dents and it still has the original undercoating. Note, I am not the original owner. (please call me for more info). Title is in the original owners name and is a duplicate (she lost the original). Just put on a set of new tires in the original size. I think this Z28 should be preserved in a Camaro enthusiasts collection. I have many more Photos so please just ask. Here is one Beautiful Z.....One of the cleaner ones left out there. The paint still has a great luster and is has a rust free body. The thing is LOOOOADED...it has 62 factory options according to the build sheet WHAT!!!!....Yes I have the build sheet, window sticker, delivery report, and inspections sheet. It also has the original owners manual, sales brochure and more. It is super sweet....Comes with the V8 5.0 and an automatic transmission. The motor runs great and the trans shifts smooth and goes down the road nice. This car is a real pleasure to drive. I think it has every power option available. It appears to be mostly original except the radio has been swapped and an aftermarket K40 Fuzz Buster has been tastefully installed. The pics absolutely speak for the car. Head light blackout covers also come with. If you look closely at the front drivers fender above the wheel, there appears to have had a dent buster done. I ran a Carfax and it came back clean with 3 owners and a mileage trail to support the 62k miles.

This car is truly an amazing example of a collector grade time capsule which still sits on its original factory tires. It’s genuinely in virtually as new unaltered condition and as such shows virtually no wear at all. When you sit down behind the wheel it truly as if you’ve gone back in time and test drove a brand new 1998 Z28. There is not any paint work, no dings, no rust, no drama or crazy stories. The wheels are in perfect condition, the top is as new perfect condition. The rear seats are perfect as are the original floor mats. This car comes with both factory original sets of keys complete with the valet key and original keyless entry fobs. The keys will have the original factory knock outs installed with key codes as well as the original paper dealer identification tag from 1998 on the key rings. This car also includes the original factory window sticker, factory build sheet and 1998 Camaro sales brochure and original factory parade boot (never used). Always adult owned documented 2 owner car that has always been kept in climate controlled storage. The previous owner told me it had never been in the rain or on a wet road and the same has been true of me as well. The undercarriage of this car supports that story as well. The A/C blows ICE cold and everything on the car functions as it should. It shifts factory tight and the clutch feels as new. I’m not kidding when I say this car drives like a “new” 1998 Z28 it’s truly spectacular. The driver seat does show some minimal creasing on the side bolster which is normal for the mileage and age but you have to look to find it. You are looking at an very clean Camaro Z28 convertible. It comes equipped with a 5.7 liter (LS1) and 4 spd. automatic transmission. The LS1 is arguably the best motor GM ever produced. The car is also loaded with nearly every option Chevrolet offered including black leather interior, power seats, windows, door locks, mirrors, rear defrost, cruise control, stereo controls on steering wheel, premium wheels, and tilt steering wheel. It is also equipped with the optioned posi-traction rear differential with a 3:33 gear ratio and push button traction control. This car has been babied and driven mainly as a summer car. It is extremely clean with only a few minor blemishes. There are two barely perceptible places on the body, one is a scratch under the driver door mirror, the other is a pea-sized, very shallow dent on the hood. Both places have been touched up professionally with matching paint. There is also one bumper rub mark on the rear bumper, driver side which could easilybe worked out with rubbing compound. No paint was removed. The main blemish appears in the interior on the driver's seat. A close up picture is provided. It is a wear spot caused from simply getting in and out of the car. I am the third owner of this car. It has always been garage kept, has never seen snow or salt, and is very well maintained. All maintenance has been done on schedule and oil changes are performed using top grade synthetic oil. Tire tread is like new on the Nexxen 275 R40's. AC blows ice cold. All glass is perfect, and the paint is glossy. All gauges and switches work as they should. There are no mechanical issues. In addition to all of the factory options, I have upgraded the engine performance and suspension to what would be considered as exceeding SS model specs. These modifications were done for pleasure.
