I'M LISTING THIS UNDER FRIEND'S NAMES UNTIL MY FREE LISTINGS RUN OUT, SO IF YOU LIKE, EITHER CONTACT ME OR OFFER. THE ONLY TRADE I WILL DO IS CASH. PERIOD. PLEASE DON'T ASK OTHERWISE, I HAVE PLENTY OF TOYS. To see and hear this in action, copy and paste the link at the end of this description. 1964 Corvair Monza body fabricated on a 1989 Chevy S10 2WD frame. Garaged kept and driven occassionally until sold. Now front engine V8 5 speed stick. Brand new GM Goodwrench 350 4 barrel just installed. Mounted to a newer 5 speed from a Chevy S10 Xtreme. Hydraulic clutch. New clutch pad installed about a year ago. Runs more like a Corvette than a Corvair. Awesome build with antique plate. Blue velour inside. Front suspension completely rebuilt. Blue metalflake paint. True dual 2.5 stainless exhaust with two glasspacks. Full gauges. Fuel gauge hooked up and working. Rest are digital aftermarket gauges in the center console. Original speedometer just for show. Aftermarket digital speedometer worked in center console. Digits burned out recently. Needs a better brand one installed instead. Like Autometer. All lights, horn, signals, wipers, everything works. Completely rewired by me with modern fusebox. 14 inch rims/tires on currently with trim rings welded to the 13 inch hubcaps to make it appear more stock. Build sheet included. Runs great. Minor rust spots starting on it, but very easy fixes. Any questions, please ask before buying or offering. Battery and gas tank in trunk. Fender tank door just for show, but not functional. Modified S10 tank above rearend housing between rear seat and trunk. Paint job is good amateur but not professional. Bodywork is minimal. Vents for front radiator are cut below the front emblem and behind the front bumper. Original radio still in dash for show. Don't know if it works, never tried. Build sheet included. Many extra parts go with it. In excellent condition are two extra doors, hood, and trunk. In OK shape are two used quarter panels and fenders cut off a donor. Plus many small parts too numerous to mention. Also, floor was cut in front middle, to make the "dog coupe" easily and unboltable. Easier to get at the back of the motor and trans if needed. TAG/KEYWORDS: Yenko Fitch Supersport Super Sport Chevelle Nova Impala Camaro For the Ebayer who is intimidated because 1) this car has a whole other frame attached under it, 2) sits up a few inches higher than stock, and 3) is way faster than stock, I ask you please don't bid, as there are plenty of stock ones available for you to buy. This is for customers who appreciate the time and work it takes to build something creative and like no other. Thanks for the silly emails and comments. Figured I'd answer before you ask again.

Offered for sale are TWO 1963 Chevy Corvair project cars. Neither car runs - or has ever - in my 12+ years of ownership. Both roll and are transportable in their condition. The main car, the convertible needs a restoration - but is very restorable. It will need a patch-panel or two - but not many. The floors have been patched, but not properly or professionally. Sheet metal was screwed to the floor after the rusted metal was removed. These panels are available. The seat are in good condition, not sure if they are original. Trunk is NOT rotted out - but rusty. The convertible top was rotted out when I received the car - so I cut the remains out. The frame is good. It appears to be a manual top - by the absence of any electrical switch under the dash. The five (5) rims have been media-blasted and powder coated blue (I intended to make the car a blue-on-blue, which I think the exterior was originally). They have brand new, zero mile, steel belted radials on all five wheels. The second car is also a 1963, but a coupe and a 'Spyder' with a 150 HP Turbo motor and a four speed transmission. My aim was to swap the Turbo/4-speed combo into the convertible while doing the restoration needed. Shipping of both vehicles is the responsibility of the buyer, but the seller will assist with the coordination, in anyway possible. $500 deposit within 48 hours of the close of the sale. Remainder due within 7 days.

I"m an ASE master tech and corvair nut. Bought this car on Ebay because it was 3 miles away. I had it towed to my buddy's garage less than a mile from the seller. Now he needs the space and I don't have the time or money to do the car justice. I went over this car with a magnet before bidding. THIS IS A NO RUST BARN FIND! It has been sitting for years in a dry place. The rocker panels, bottom of the windshield, and inside the door jams by the hinges are all solid. No rust on the bottom of any fenders. I tested the floors to see if they were soft, no flexing. Interior is original with no tears. The engine is a 140 HP, but has single carb heads on it. Engine cranks over and has compression. Car has a 4 speed trans and a posi diff. Car comes with a newer set of radial tires and 2 prong hub caps. It looks like the right fender and the front have been replaced. There are welds in the trunk, but nothing visible on the outside. I will rebuild the carbs to help get you started. Car was bought as a salvage car without a title. I have the paper work from the state of NJ to obtain a title. Just need to do a title search for the 5 states that border NJ. This car is ugly, roof torn, windshield cracked, but it's all there.

1964 Chevrolet Corvair convertible is in excellent condition. This car was purchased in Florida and spent most of its life in dry Texas. It has always been garage kept and well maintained. I can't stress how clean this car is. Body is rust free. Chrome is shiny. Paint is still bright and has minor imperfections. Interior is just as nice, it was re-upholstered years ago and had the soft top roof replaced at that time. NO known mechanical issues, engine and transmission are solid, vehicle starts right up and runs well. This vehicle was Not made with power steering or power brakes but it drives easy and handles well. This mileage is actual and it is very low, only 69, 209 miles at time of this posting. Transmission is automatic: 2 speed , drive and low. Original bill of sale, 1964 owners manual, and other paperwork are all saved for the next owner. Tires have about 3000 miles on them. The soft convertible top is free of damage but the motor has quit working so it can't currently retract. I priced out the replacement part and it is under $400.00 or the current unit might be repairable. The car is driver and show ready. There are no known leaks. The car was kept in the family since original purchase and no accidents/ collisions to the vehicle. I encourage any potential buyers to come see this car in person or send your qualified mechanic to preview this vehicle prior to bidding/ purchase. This is a used car, and no warranty is implied or offered. Car is being sold as is. I will be happy to meet with anybody wanting to inspect or drive the car. I am Not a mechanic but have done my best to describe and list this automobile as it presented. Buyer is responsible for all transport or shipping costs. Vehicle is ready to drive home after purchase. I have approx. 50 pics of this auto for your preview, if you want further pics. Email any questions as I will reply and do my best to answer quickly, or you may call directly : Mike at 330 936 4836.

Was an everyday driver and starts right up. Automatic. Original interior and new door panels still in the box. Runs rough. Had new pistons and rings replaced 20,000 miles ago. These Corvairs were revolutionary for the Big 3 back in 1961. The concept of using a rear engine, air cooled car with a flat floor unibody frame was unique. This gave the Corvair good handling and the sensation of speed as you were sitting much lower to the ground than the big three land yachts of the time. These are fun cars with lots of parts and club support. I have a video below. Speed ahead to the part you want. From the beginning to the 7:15 minute is the outside, engine trunk and interior, after that is underside for rust and any defects followed by still pictures After decades of buying repairing and enjoying classics (back to 1914 Models) here is some wisdom Buy the best condition car you can afford at the best rock bottom deal. If you buy a car that is not running with an unrealistic vision of it becoming a show car – chances are you will sink a lot of money into it, and not get to enjoy it sitting in your garage for 3 years gathering dust and leaking oil) (yes been there) Spent 2 years trying to find parts for a 1953 Caddy Anything needing repaired will cost money and time evaluate this in your price. If you buy a non running car buy it dirt cheap as you can not check out expensive systems Check the car reviews and historic pricing and condition guidelines at Haggerty Insurance web site Visit Club web sites Look for parts on the internet before buying. if you can not locate say a water pump for a car do not buy it. You do not have jay leno's machinist to make you one ! Rust is a killer. Has the car ever been in an accident? Has any body-filler/putty/bondo been applied to the car? Has any other dent-repair or rust repair work been done? Do the doors shut evenly and cleanly? Do they sag? Does it start, accelerate, steer, and brake properly? Beware cloned (fake Monza and Corsa models) The VIN tells you what model it is Be wary of turbo boost condition Due to long term illness I am selling off my collection one by one. I try to be very honest, with videos and still pictures of the car. The video shows what to check for when buying any Corvair or older car in general to the 7 minute mark, then under shot video of the frame of the car As with all my cars, I offer financing and storage under these conditions. If we agree on a price and I get your down payment (negotiated) I store and insure the car for free for 30 days. After that I charge my cost of 3 dollars a day for insurance and storage. That way if the car is stolen or destroyed we both are covered financially An agreed upon payment expected each month with full payment in 10 months. Email me for an email agreement prior to buying This car was owned for years by a WW 2 Pilot. hate to sell it as I am a retired Navy Pilot but stuff has to go If you decide at any time you do not want it, after purchase and before pick up, either I can sell it again or you can sell it and keep any profit above what you paid for it. I am not a dealer. Just try to be fair. Inspections by YOU or a third party is ENCOURAGED If within in 30 days of purchase you find a defect I have not listed costing more than 200 dollars to repair (which I will do) then you can cancel the sale for a full refund. This is a clean well running automatic Appears to be a repaint quality job of metallic paint It has the very nice heavy crome spinners on the wheels along with the original hub caps. I have enclosed copies of the 1965 and 1968 owners manuals I have listed all the defects I see here Drivers mirror I have it but loose and in the glove box. Appears to be a broken small mounting screw Drivers seat, amateur repairs thread showing passenger seat rip in seam as shown in video Interior front carpet, clean but worn in front, OK in back Front carpet needs replaced for any showing Both bottom carpet door sill plates missing Radio Am turns on but not picking up signal (antenna?) Front wind shield driver side 14 inch? Vertical chrome trim missing Back chrome pieces above tail lights missing Chrome available from Ebay and California Chrome Small drip number 4 cylinder O ring on the push tube valve tube Common problem Car seems structurally sound with 2 minor rust issues on the left front fender skirt (see video) Under car, there seems to be a small missing cover piece of sheet metal for the heating duct (see video) about 12 inches by 7 inches? Good hunting. Feel free to make an offer. I will not be insulted. I may chuckel at a 500 dollar offer but I will not make fun of any offers *************************************

UP FOR SALEWe bought this car in early 2015 and have worked on it almost daily fixing it's issues. This car is fast, a real head turner, and is ready for a new home. We have purchased a Corsa Corvair Convertible a few weeks ago and can't keep both. This car has all lights, signals, and fuel sender in great working order. 15" IROC wheels with Hankook tires. Really fun to drive. Has a leak coming from the push rod tube ( common ) but otherwise in great shape. Original interior with LED lighting as well as LED directional turn signals. Powerglide Transmission. Trunk was Rhino lined a few months ago. California car with no cancer.Paint is a 5 footer but shows great on cruise nights and gets thumbs up everywhere we go. We added the factory clock to the dash but does not work but does light up. Here is you chance to own a classic car very few know about which has never been in an accident and is a great driver/cruiser. Why own a Mustang or Camaro which everyone has seen. Be different.SEE IT RUN HERE on YouTube: Search my page : manny marin and you'll see it 3rd down from the top. Here is a great little 1964 Chevy Corvair Monza it is a 6 cylinder 4 speed on the floor. The car has been sitting for years in storage it does run and drive but could use a good carb cleaning. (goes down the road fine but you can tell it's running a little rich) The gas tank, fuel pump, master cyl, spark plugs, and oil where recently replaced. This car is an older amateur restoration....The paint shines but is not perfect it also looks like they replaced/patched a few spots on the floor pans. Interior is perfect except for a few mice holes in the headliner. Tires look new also. Here is the bad; front of hood is rusting out (look at the pictures) and there is a small crack in the windshield. This is a great looking and fun driving car. Restore it or drive it the way it is. I am asking $3,500 or best offer so here is your chance to own a great little sporty chevy from the 60's that runs and drives! I have a clear title in hand.
