BODY STYLE : Convertible TRANSMISSION: Automatic EXTERIOR COLOR: ODOMETER READING: 16038 INTERIOR COLOR : VEHICLE FEATURES & OPTIONS AM/FM Radio, Defrost, Heat, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Maintenance Records, Restoration Photos SELLER REMARKS The first Mustang off the assembly line was a car very much like this 1964.5 Mustang convertible, and since then the very earliest Mustangs have been a favorite among collectors. Timeless good looks combined with all the unique features of the early cars, this is a great Mustang you can enjoy every day. Wimbledon White was on the first Mustang and for good reason: it looks fantastic on the first pony car. With a comprehensive restoration a few years ago, it still looks spectacular and offers near show level paint (especially when the right light hits the pearl) and bodywork to complement its July production date. You need good gaps and panel alignment on a light-colored car, too, so they took their time and got the doors to fit well and even the trunk lid, which is often challenging, sits right. A glance at the door tag will reveal that this one used to be code F Guardsman Blue, but given how this one looks today, it's easy to see why the decision was made to change the color. You'll also note that the restoration was thorough and comprehensive, as there's simply no trace of the original blue paint anywhere on the car. Beautiful chrome bumpers, a correct early-style grille with cross bars, and twin exhaust tips under the rear valence all give this car plenty of jewelry to sparkle against the shiny white paint. The white interior is actually a seldom-seen combination that looks great and works rather well on a vehicle that's going to spend a lot of time out in the sun. You'd think that white would instantly show wear, but it remains in excellent condition with only very minor signs of use on the door panels, whose armrests might be original. Black carpets take a bit of the edge off the bright interior, but you'll definitely dig things like the white steering wheel and matching dash pad that give this pony a very unique look. The original gauges are bright and crisp and the factory radio has been replaced by a newer AM/FM/cassette head unit that fits like it was born there. Overhead there's a white convertible top that stashes under a matching white vinyl boot and the trunk is correctly outfitted with a reproduction plaid mat and full-sized spare tire assembly. This particular Mustang carries an early F-code 260 cubic inch V8 which wears correct black engine enamel that's indicative of the early cars. Shiny chrome valve covers and a matching air cleaner aren't stock but they look right under the hood and it's wonderful to see that this car carries both power steering and power brakes, making it extremely pleasant to drive. It starts easily and has a great V8 sound thanks to true dual exhaust with glasspack-style mufflers and there's an eager feeling to early Mustangs that's hard to replicate anywhere else. The 3-speed automatic transmission always seems to be in the right gear for what you're doing and according to the door tag, there are 3.00 gears out back so this Mustang stays relaxed on the highway. The results of the restoration still show up in the form of nice satin black floors with all the convertible reinforcements still intact, a recent gas tank, and air shocks out back to keep a level attitude regardless of the load. Upgraded styled steel wheels are a perfect Mustang touch and carry 205/70/14 BFGoodrich radials that fit right. With all the unique features on the pre-July 31 Mustangs, this is a car that will always get Mustang fans talking. It's also a wonderful and fun convertible in its own right. Got a classic car to sell? We can Sell it! Maybe, maybe not. But for a surprisingly affordable price, you do get a truck that looks great, offers a strong-running V8 engine, and a long bed that can still do a day's work without complaint. Hard to beat that, right? That's right, this truck remains almost completely original, and while it's not perfect, it also hasn't been worked to death and has evidently lived a good life. The code 6 Pebble Beige paint is holding up well and has that soft shine that only original paint can offer. The sheetmetal obviously benefits from a life someplace warm and dry and while pickups used for work tend to collect bumps and bruises along the way, this one seems to have escaped that particular fate. Check out the super straight molding along the truck's flanks, the great gaps, and the low-key look and it's easy to think it's about 1969 all over again and this truck is cruising down Main Street in a small town somewhere. The wooden bed sides add a functional, down-on-the-farm look, and it's got shiny chrome bumpers to help when you go downtown on Sunday. The bed has obviously seen some work, but again, the warm climate has kept it solid, so don't let the scuffs scare you away. The all-original interior shows you that basic was still stylish in 1967, and while the original seat cover shows some wear and a few splits, it would be a shame to replace it, losing the originality. The deep-dish steering wheel looks sporty, and you can see years of use in its gently worn rim, but no cracks or major deterioration. Clean original gauges, a nice dash pad, and a durable rubber mat remind us what motoring was like 50 years ago and it's a great illustration of function being made attractive. It's definitely basic, with three-on-the-tree shifting and no radio, but it's kind of remarkable that this truck has managed to spend decades without being modified or upgraded. Someone was taking pretty good care of it all along. Ford's reliable and torquey 352 cubic inch V8 (no, not a 351) was one of several optional engines offered in 1967 and it's a great choice here. It's clean and well-maintained, with plenty of evidence of regular maintenance but also a lot of originality. Factory markings and decals are still visible on a lot of components and it runs very well with a great trucky V8 soundtrack from the old-school single exhaust system. The three-speed manual transmission shifts well and even with manual steering and brakes, it's easy to manage around town. 3.25 gears in the 9-inch rear end mean that it is comfortable on the highway and the underside, while showing some surface scale, is in good original condition with more evidence of proper care. Painted steel wheels look to have been repainted and give the truck a clean, honest look and fat 235/75/15 whitewall tires, it rides well and looks sturdy. Clean old pickups are a great way to get into the hobby, and this unmolested Ford offers great patina and an old-school look that will always get attention. Someone found a clean 1968 Ford F100, then gave it a remarkable makeover that preserves most of its originality but adds a few upgrades, including a 390 cubic inch V8 engine. Go ahead, find another one, let alone one this nice. If you like the '60s look with a bit of muscle behind it, this is an awesome find. This is a short wheelbase, short bed truck, which was a relatively rare combination in 1968. However, between May 1968 when it was built and today, it doesn't seem to have done much work. Or maybe whomever did the restoration went the extra mile and erased every mark that shows it ever carried a load and then coated it in period-perfect Rangoon Red and Wimbledon White paint. The flanks are quite straight, and given the details of the F100 design, most notably that crease that runs along the sides, it shows off how much time was invented in the restoration. The front bumper is painted to match the lower body and there's a roll pan out back to give it an updated look that works rather well. You'll also note the tailgate handle was shaved, a subtle trick that makes a big difference out back. The chrome and trim was polished up when it was restored, and a quick buff would bring them back to full brightness without a lot of work, but even as-is, this is one great-looking pickup. The truck becomes all the more remarkable given the no-nonsense interior that sticks to the factory specs. Red upholstery on the bench seat looks like the factory stuff and is both stylish and durable, perfect for the environment in which it was intended to work. The door panels are upscale pleated pieces that contrast with the standard painted steel versions on lesser trucks and the floor is covered in plus red carpets, which are still a rare find on pickups of this vintage. The instruments appear to be original and are nicely preserved, although they're joined by a pair of aftermarket dials very neatly installed in the outer corners of the instrument panel. There's also a real wood-rimmed steering wheel on the standard steering column and an upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo system with speakers in the doors. A sliding rear window makes it pleasant to be inside this truck any time. The original engine was originally a code Y 360 cubic inch V8, but when it was restored a thumping 390 was dropped between the fenders and the difference is significant. Dressed in matching bright red paint and wearing finned valve covers, it has a high-performance vibe that fits its personality. There's also a 4-barrel carburetor and long-tube headers that help build the kind of power you'll find useful in a truck. It starts easily with a very truck-like grumble from the exhaust, which features a pair of Flowmaster mufflers and turn-downs just aft of the 9-inch rear axle. A 3-speed automatic transmission handles the gear swaps and the undercarriage is in good order, showing off the thoroughness of the paint job that even extends to the underside of the bed. The standard steel wheels were dumped in favor of a set of shiny aluminum hoops that wear 235/70/15 BFGoodrich T/A radials all around. What you're really buying here is love: someone loved this Ford and gave it a high-quality makeover that can be shown proudly. It has also got real four wheel drive too with 3.73 limited slip differentials. Best of all, it's got a POWERSTROKE DIESEL engine that runs great! This is no stripped-down work truck either. It's loaded-up with many upgrades such as the bedliner, power adjustable pedals, upfitter switches, power sliding rear window and Tow Command integrated trailer brake control system. There's even a console between the front captain's chairs. Also included are a set of 20" alloy wheels that really set this truck apart from the crowd and they're wrapped in a BRAND NEW matching set of 35x12.50-20 tires plus it has a 3-4" lift kit installed which, along with the 35" tires, give it just the right look. The '06-7 diesel engines had many upgrades that are not present on the earlier versions. We have checked the coolant & oil temps and they're good plus the EGR COOLER has been DELETED which removes the weak point of the 6.0 engine. It doesn't run rough cold either since we put in a fresh set of injectors! What this means for you is that all the 6.0 Powerstroke issues are already taken care of. It also has a BRAND NEW 4" turbo-back exhaust system and an H&S tow tune so this truck has enough power to go anywhere and do it as fast as you want. We regularly see these trucks with 400-500,000 miles and running strong. It's a Southern truck so there are absolutely NO RUST HOLES OR RUST BUBBLES. We've had our mechanic go over this truck top to bottom so we wouldn't hesitate to get in this truck and drive it anywhere! He installed new tie rod ends, new front shocks, and a new dual steering stabilizer. Feel free to fly in and drive it home no matter where that may be. Bimmers, Benzes, Harleys, and Hummers are "aspiration vehicles." Plenty of folks aspire to slip into those images. While we weren't looking, guys in their peak-earning years-and even one dewy-fresh young woman of our acquaintance-took to wearing mighty mutha diesel pickups. "Heavy duty" is the categorical term for such iron. Work boots for the road. Mud spatter is your option, but the factory builds 'em shiny, even chromy. Ford is the big shooter in this class, as it is with its F-150 in regular pickups. Upwards of 350,000 F-250 through F-550 trucks per year give it about 45 percent of the action, with Chevy, Dodge, and GMC biting and pulling fur over the other 55 percent. And they're gaining. So for 2005 Ford is upgrading its heavy-duty line introduced for 1999. More power, more load capacity, and more towing muscle are the key attractants, with a few other details worth mentioning, like a nifty way of coordinating trailer brakes with the truck's anti-lock braking system. The standard engine is a 5.4-liter, three-valve-per-cylinder V-8, up 40 horsepower to 300. Power users may opt for the 6.8-liter, three-valve gasoline V-10, at 355 horsepower, or the 6.0-liter Power Stroke turbo-diesel V-8 of 325 horsepower and- ta-dah!-570 pound-feet of torque at 2000 rpm. If the two-bedroom bungalow hitched to this one is holding up traffic, blame the balloon foot on the pedal. The tow rating tops out now at 17,000 pounds for fifth-wheel setups, or 15,000 pounds for dualie models with conventional hitches. Hauling is up, too: 1280 pounds more than last year, depending on equipment. Max combined weight for an F-350 dualie-that means truck, payload, and trailer-is 23,500 pounds. Ford says 90 percent of Super Duty buyers tow, so this load stuff matters. As an option, you can have a built-in trailer-brake controller that fits into the dash and integrates all the wires and connectors needed for hookup (amazingly, these things have been aftermarket parts until now). This provides a much more predictable brake-pedal feel, and it also knows when the truck's anti-lock braking system has engaged, and rebalances the braking force distributed to the trailer (it does not, however, act as an anti-lock system for the trailer). The heavy-duty trucks in our social circle tow occasionally, but more often they're the shiniest rides in the parking lot, packing little more than one or two people and a toolbox that weighs, oh, a half-ton or so. The owners choose them as everyday wear because, well, that's the kind of Americans they are. Ford says up to 45 percent of buyers use Super Duty trucks as personal vehicles, although they may do some heavy-duty work, too. About 30 percent go for the top-of-the-line Lariat trim. The self-expression possibilities don't stop there. You can drive your cowboy boots. The King Ranch model, named after the 825,000-acre Texas spread that sprawls over three counties, has rugged-looking brown leather on the seats, wheel, and center console, much in the style of men's clubhouse furniture, and a dark mandarin teak pattern in its plastic wood. Chrome badges confirm your Rancher status to bystanders. Or perhaps you're ready to go whole hog in three tons of four-door four-by-four, the Harley-Davidson Super Duty. Behold and tremble! This mighty mutha comes in your choice of F-250 or F-350, propelled between gas stations by either the diesel (90 percent) or the V-10. Each of them wears more licensed chrome Harley-Davidson logos than a whole showroom of Milwaukee sickles, plus an uncountable number of official "Bar and Shield" logos miniaturized down to bifocal size. Even the black screen printing around the windshield is made of teensy B-and-S shapes.Ford says three-quarters of the Super Duty line will have no price increase, but there's no word yet on Harley models, limited to a volume of less than 8000. For the record, though, last year's F-250 H-D with the usual diesel option and TorqShift automatic plus a few common options listed for almost $50,000. 2005 Ford Super Duty F 250 Review - RoadTestStill Super Diesel Power, August 01, 2005 Since being introduced in 1998 for the '99 model year, the Super Duty has become the tow vehicle of choice for those hauling everything from horse trailers to weekend homes. It's no wonder the Ford stands out in the towing crowd, especially after winning our three-way shootout between the big boys in the class of 2004 (see Spring '05 Diesel Power). Ford is constantly improving its truck because it has to stay ahead of the ever-increasing competition in order to keep its sales crown, especially in the race for diesel dominance. For every gasoline-powered Super Duty that leaves a dealership, Ford sells two Power Stroke-equipped Super Dutys, to the tune of more than 200,000 a year, out-pacing both Dodge and GM. Here is a look at what's new to the Super Duty line for 2005. On the surface, you might be hard-pressed to spot the changes to the '05 Super Duty, but if you look closely enough, they are there, most noticeably in the contemporary headlight assembly and billet-look grille. But, the major tweaks lurk just beneath the surface. Wanting to test out a SuperCab longbed, we ordered up a differently configured truck than from our Heavy Hauler test.Again, our test truck arrived with the exceptional four-valve-per-cylinder 6.0L Power Stroke V-8 turbodiesel engine, which, through the magic of engine control system remapping, now develops an additional 10 lb-ft of torque, raising the '05 to a mountain-moving 570 lb-ft. Right foot-taunting horsepower remains the same at 325. Another improvement over last year's model is the 250,000-mile service life rating of the new 6.0L-with proper maintenance, of course. All of this twist is routed through Ford's TorqShift five-speed automatic transmission, first seen behind the Power Stroke in 2003 and now available behind all Super Duty engines. With the heavy-duty user in mind, Ford went to great lengths to improve the chassis, starting with thicker steel and longer boxed sections on the frame for enhanced strength and durability. All of this chassis tweaking has allowed Ford to up the payload by as much as 1,280 pounds to a maximum of 5,800 pounds on some models, making the 1-ton moniker of F-350s a misnomer. Choose an F-350 and click off the dualie box and you'll be rewarded with a 15,000-pound conventional tow rating, thanks to a new 2.5-inch receiver hitch. Go fifth-wheelor gooseneck, and that number leaps to 19,200 pounds. Redesigned 17-inch wheels are now standard equipment, and 18-inch wheels are optional, which enabled Ford engineers to increase the brake rotor sizes. The rotors are now 5 percent larger in diameter. The larger size dissipates heat better, especially on long downhill grades. Both the F-250 and F-350 received larger calipers, with the fronts offering twin 60mm pistons, a full 11 percent better than the '04 model, giving the driver better brake feel. The rear calipers have also been upgraded to twin 48mm pucks on F-250s and F-350s and 54mm on F-350 Dualies. With bigger brakes allowing heavier loads, the parking brake has also been improved and now offers a 15 percent higher load rating. Consumers and fleet managers alike will be impressed with the expected 50 percent increase in brake lining life on single rear-wheel vehicles and double the life on dualies. Another interesting option that came with our Super Duty was Ford's new TowCommand system, which integrates a factory trail brake controller with the vehicle brakes and ABS system for better control. It uses different braking strategies for normal and emergency braking and has a message center that can alert the driver to a malfunction or disconnected wiring. As a bonus, the TowCommand module comes with four auxiliary switches that can be used to control any aftermarket or upfitter product. Another notable improvement for 2005 comes in the way of the new front suspension on four-wheel-drive models. The venerable front leaf spring solid axle has been dropped in favor of a better-riding, better-handling link coil spring solid axle, reminiscent of the proven system found on previous solid-axle and coil-spring Fords. This new suspension improves the Super Duty's ride and shortens the turning radius by several feet. While parking lots haven't suddenly become Super Duty-friendly, at least the newfound maneuverability will take an edge off jockeying for a primo space at the races. We enjoyed the firm smoothness of the new coil spring frontend. Behind the wheel, the handling is noticeably improved, and the suspension works well under the 6,500-pound truck. With the trailer loaded up, our F-250 pulled straight and true and had none of the tail-wagging sensation common to other brands. Over the road, the cabin is one of the quietest in its class, and we loved the giant towing mirrors. Just as in our shootout, this Power Stroke was a joy to tow with, and with little turbo lag and no flat spots in the powerband, it always had reserve power on tap to get through anything we asked of it. Our tester came decked out in Lariat trim, which warms the restyled dash with a Cherry Zebrano wood application, along with leather seats, special gauges, and a slew of comfort items that make you question if you are in a pickup truck or a custom luxury tow rig. With a long reach to the dash, we especially liked the redundant audio and climate controls on the steering wheel, which made for easy adjustments on the fly, particularly while towing our 28-foot trailer through the two-lane twisties. With a full day of towing under our belt, this improved Super Duty proved to be a relaxing steed, causing little tiring or fatigue to the driver with the trailer hitched up. Off-road, our Super Duty had excellent clearance and good tires from the factory, but even on the FX4 Off-Road package, the shocks could have used better tuning. We would also order ours with the optional limited-slip differential since we got in a few situations where the extra traction would have been welcomed. However, the Super Duty with its manual hubs and manual transfer case lever, coil springs, and solid axles remains a rugged and capable platform for off-road buildups. The Super Duty has always been a great base for aftermarket upgrades, and with the improvements for 2005, it is even better, especially for those who regularly tow or haul. After spending lots of quality time in the '05 Super Duty, we stand by our original shootout assessment that Ford currently has the best all-around diesel truck on the market. But, with redesigns from Dodge and the General lurking on the Horizon (and rumors of a V-8 Cummins for Dodge and 3/4-ton diesel Titan on the way), it's going to take more than laurels to keep the Blue Oval boys ahead of the game. Please be aware that we are NOT PERFECT. We go to great lengths to make sure our ads are correct, BUT occasionally we do make a mistake. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle. Folks, we don't mean to sound harsh, but we do sell used vehicles. If you want one in brand new condition then go pay anywhere from $20-60,000 or more at a new car dealer. We will make every reasonable effort to describe the vehicle, and we include many photos to assist in that effort. However, it is important to remember that these vehicles are pre-owned, not brand new. Therefore, minor items such as cigarette lighters, manuals, CD changer magazines, keyless entry remotes, etc. may be missing. And, as with any used vehicle, minor signs of wear may become apparent under close inspection. This may include small chips, light scratches or minor abrasions, wheel scuffs, and other indications of normal wear and tear. We cannot and will not be held liable or responsible for these issues. We Disclose our cars as much as we can, But don't forget you are bidding on a USED car. If you have any questions about the condition please feel free to contact us. We Sell At Below-Wholesale Prices And Cannot Provide Spare Keys Or Floor Mats Unless They Are Already With A Vehicle. Feel free to contact us if you need this information. We CANNOT Be Held Responsible For Expenses Or Repairs Beyond The Point Of Delivery. We say this for the simple fact that once you leave then what happens hundreds of miles down the road is out of our control. We do our best to make all our vehicles road-ready. In most cases we have already driven them 4-800 miles ourselves. Terms and Conditions: Payment Options We accept the following payment methods: - Cashier's Check/money order - Loan check from eBay Financing Center - Cash (in person) - bank to bank wire transfer Vehicle Pickup & Shipping All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility. General Terms Now the fine print... We understand you are buying online, but with us you are not buying blind! We handwrite every single description. We provide 24+ high resolution pictures & we inspect and photo what you see and what you can't see. We'll also be glad to email you detailed, closeup pictures of any area you'd like to see more of. People ask us all the time what is the catch to our vehicles. They assume that the prices are low because there is something wrong with them. Nothing could be further from the truth! Our secret is simple...LOW OVERHEAD. We are an internet-only dealer. We do not maintain regular office hours or a large sales facility. We simply have a Mississippi bonded dealer's license, a storage lot, and a computer. Since we don't have dozens of mechanics, helpers, salesmen, secretaries, etc. on our payroll; we are able to sell at greatly reduced prices. You will notice that we sometimes go with private auctions. Our reasons are twofold...the latest scam is to send bogus 2nd chance offers to customers from a fake email address in an attempt to scam them out of money. With a private auction the scammers won't know who our bidders are so if you get a 2nd chance offer from us you will know that it is the real deal! In addition, we set our reserves to sell which upsets other sellers! In fact, sometimes we set our reserve $1,000 or more below what our cost is. This leads other sellers to email our customers and knock our product! We will provide the winning bidder, upon request, with a complete bid history including the usernames & bid amounts of all other bidders. All new or low feedback (under 5 positives) bidders must first email us for no other reason than just to make contact. This way we know we have serious bidders! If you don't make contact we will cancel your bid and black you out from future bidding. We do this to avoid the de@dbe@t bidders, so please respect our policy. If you have a rating of 5 or better you don't have to email us. In the meantime, sit back and enjoy our site and add us to your favorites, because you just never know when your dream vehicle will pop up!!! We've put this vehicle through our EXTENSIVE inspection process & can report it has a great ride & drive! We do our best to let you know of any/all issues we can find on these vehicles since you're buying sight-unseen. There are some rock pecks that have been touched up. The hood has two dings in it and there's another ding under the left taillight. The nav isn't getting a GPS signal from the antenna. Our mechanic thinks he can figure it out, but bid assuming he doesn't just in case. There is no spare tire. You wouldn't want to run one on a lifted truck with big tires anyway. It would damaged the limited slip function of the differentials. WATCH THE VIDEO. If you have any specific questions then don't hesitate to call us email us. Please understand we do our best to describe, in detail, every vehicle we offer to the Ebay public. However, if you have any hesitation during the bidding period, please obtain a Buyer's Inspection PRIOR TO PLACING YOUR BID to satisfy yourself. After the auction ends, understand you are the legal winning bidder of this auction and agree to all our Terms and Conditions. e sure and take a look at the book values on this vehicle (or any other we have for sale) before you bid. We stopped offering a built-in BuyIt Now option due to ebay's policy of letting anyone with an email address register a username. We had half a dozen de@dbe@t bidders in a row hit the BIN with no intention of paying. We do have a BuyIt Now price so give us a call if you're interested. Make sure you call us for more information on this vehicle. As always though, our reserve is THOUSANDS less than NADA value so bid early & bid often so you don't miss out! Don't be outbid at the last minute! With the eBay proxy bidding system all you have to do is enter the maximum amount you're willing to pay when you get ready to bid. Ebay will then automatically bid against other people for you up to that amount to help make sure you don't miss out. This saves you from getting sniped in the last few seconds of an auction by someone with a computer program. Don't try and bid in small increments at the last minute...go ahead & bid the full amount you're willing to pay then let eBay do the hard work! This vehicle is for sale locally so we must reserve the right to end the auction early due to local sale. However, once the reserve is met then we will let the auction run its course & sell to the high bidder. Now for the rest of the fine print... Terms of Sale Winning bidder MUST contact us within 24 hours of auction end and make arrangements for payment at that time. Balance due within 5 days of auction end. This is due to the large number of de@dbeat bidders out there. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or otherwise dispose of it. PLEASE arrange your own financing prior to bidding. De@dbeat bidders WILL receive negative feedback & be reported to ebay. Payment Must Be Made VIA Cashier's Check, Bank-to-Bank Wire Transfer, or Cash (in person). We must be able to verify funds prior to vehicle delivery. Generally we have almost all titles on hand. However, we sometimes buy vehicles that are dealer trade-ins where there is a payoff involved so the title may be delayed. Feel free to contact us if you need to verify we have the title on hand for a particular vehicle. All Titles Are Held For Up To 14 Working Days For Funds To Clear, Then Will Be Sent via Priority Mail. On Average, Titles Go Out Within a Few Days, But Occasionally There May Be Delays Beyond Our Control. We Cannot Accept Paypal, Credit Card or Escrow Payments. We're happy to help ARRANGE shipping however ultimately it is the buyer's responsibility to pick up or ship the vehicle. Let us know your zip code for a ballpark quote on shipping. Odds are you can save as much as half off the average online shipping quote depending on how much of a hurry you are in to receive your new vehicle. We can do this because most online shippers are not really shippers. They're really brokers who charge you hundreds of dollars to post your shipment on a site that all the drivers use to book loads. This site is not open to the public and charges a ridiculous monthly fee to be a member. We're now set up with them so we can offer you wholesale shipping charges without any markups or fees. We offer it solely as a service to our customers. However, even if you don't buy from us, we can still offer you this service for a small fee. If you leave near Dallas, Atlanta, or pretty much anywhere in Florida then we can get you a really good deal on shipping to those areas. If you prefer to fly in & drive home we'll be glad to pick you up at Jackson Internation Airport ("JAN"), the local Greyhound station, or the Amtrak Depot. Our business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday (CST). Please arrange your flight times accordingly. We are more than happy to provide free pickup during normal business hours. We no longer will deliver vehicles after-hours or on weekends. Occasionally things pop up like a blown fuse or a headlight going out and after hours a mechanic isn't there to fix it. We will store your vehicle up to 90 days free, however you must provide full coverage insurance & pay in full. We will not be responsible for damage or theft while in storage here. Our insurance policy will not allow it. If you are not sure about something, Please ASK. Do not assume anything not listed is included. We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale. Please make sure that the contact information (email address and phone number) in your ebay profile is up to date. If you're email bounces back on us then we will block you from further bids until you call us. Occasionally we may call to verify a bidder is legitimate. If we can't reach you then we reserve the right to cancel your bid. Please do not bid on this auction unless you are serious about owning this vehicle. We spend approximately $150 per listing. This is how we make our living. All non-paying high bidders will be reported to Ebay. We are not one of those sellers who is afraid to leave appropriate feedback where it is due even at the risk of receiving it ourselves in return(one of the major flaws in eBay's feedback system). By placing a bid on this vehicle that meets or exceeds the reserve, you agree that you are making a binding commitment to purchase this vehicle. Your bid constitutes your agreement that any disputes which may (hopefully not) arise will be adjudicated in Hinds County, Mississippi. PLEASE ONLY BID WHAT YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY. IF THE RESERVE IS NOT MET, WE MAY CONTACT THE HIGH BIDDER TO OFFER THE SECOND CHANCE OPTION. Fees and Taxes MS Residents Must Pay The 5% State Sales Tax on all motorized vehicles (7% on anything else such as campers, travel trailers, etc.) and a $100 Title/Doc Fee. All Other U.S. Buyers Will Pay Their Own State Taxes Themselves In Their Home State. All other bidders pay only a $99 Documentation Fee in addition to the winning bid. This covers our costs for a notary, Fedex charges, and other paperwork. Louisiana, Canadian and other foreign buyers must pay a $149 Documentation Fee to cover the extra Fedex and other expenses associated with doing international (and Cajun) paperwork. We do have Mississippi temporary tags available if you desire one for an additional $50. However, we've sent hundreds of cars, trucks, and RVs all over the country without them & nobody has ever had an issue driving home. If you want one, LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE. We do not keep them on hand. ? Call or text "21152" to 601-866-1081 for more information

This 1963 Ford F-100 is a prime example, with its amazing paint, hot rod details, and a performance enhanced 351 V8. You can get all this, and much more, for under $19K. So don't take too long reading the details, or you might be too late. That amazing metallic paint is only a few months old. The shade strikes such a unique balance between light blue and silver, that if we were naming it, this would be called "twilight chrome." In fact, it has the kind of deep shine that really highlights all the dramatic lines and intricate sheetmetal that Ford dared to put on these now-classic pickups. Still, this one goes much further into the details with its custom grille, flush roll pan with new taillights, and shaved door handles. Even if the paint is the shiniest element on this truck, it doesn't stop this one from having some great 60s-era custom brightwork touches such as the Moon-style hubcaps, and the diamond plating in the bed. But the most impressive feature might have just come from the factory. The Flareside bed looks amazing, and it also enhances this pickup's rarity because Ford sold half as many of this style as the fleet Stylesides. The interior continues the custom feel, with diamond plating on the side panels and dash, and the rest is filled in by that fantastic blue metallic exterior paint. Of course, you'll really start to notice the custom touches the moment you slip into the power bucket seat (after all, something this comfortable was decades away from '63.) Just beyond the Grant GT steering wheel is a full set of Dolphin gages. If that wasn't enough to tell you there was a lot going on in the engine bay, the B&M ratchet-style shifter floor shifter certainly will. The 351 cubic-inch V8 looks great with the Ford Racing air cleaner and valve covers, and there's plenty of substance to go with this style. The motor was rebuilt less than 6,000 miles ago, with upgrades that include a .040 bore kit, high-performance camshaft, Edelbrock high rise intake, and Holley 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor. All of this exhales though Hooker performance headers on its way through the glasspack dual exhaust, with performance H-pipe construction. So this motor has a serious bark, and a powerful bite to back it up too. But that's far from the only enhancements. This is running a heavy-duty Ford FMX three-speed automatic transmission, with a 2,800 stall converter. Underneath this cool custom rides on a Buick Centurion front end that includes disc brakes, and in the rear is an air ride suspension. So this power steering pickup has a better feeling on the road than just about any other 1960s truck you can find. This is a restoration-fresh custom pickup that has all the cool elements that you'll love showing off at the car shows. So with a price this low, you better hurry because we're not keeping this one a secret. Still in the correct shade of black, its laser straight body, 302 V8, and upgraded factory air make this an easy decision in the vintage truck world. Body panels fresh out of the press don't look this good, which tells us there has been some serious time and/or cash in making sure it stays superior after 45 years in the world. But you do expect that out of a Ford F-100 in the upper level Sport Custom package. These carried more trim than some of the Ford cars of the days, and they looked particularly premium directly from the factory. Today all those pieces are still in place and intact, including the wide grille, chrome bumpers, and dual trim strips that run the entire length of the pickup. But, there's also no mistaking those upgraded bold Cragar wheels. You see all of this so well because the truck wears its factory-correct shade of Raven Black, with the same kind of luster that makes this truck as polished as the day it was delivered new to Ford's Atlanta district. The factory stock look continues inside, but with a few enhancements that you will feel more than you see. For example, the gray cloth bench has the right kind of factory weave, but you'll enjoy this so much more than a vinyl seat on the first warm day you hop into this F-100. And speaking of warm days, this one also has a new air conditioning compressor and has been upgraded to modern R-134a, so you can feel as cool and comfortable as you want in this vintage pickup. The original dash is nicely preserved, with everything in place, plus an upgrade to a newer AM/FM cassette stereo. The driver gets the cool-looking original wide horizontal readouts, and everything works as they should. Because this is the premium end of the F-Series, Ford even added a few burled walnut appliques for an interesting touch of sophistication. Just as specified on the VIN, there is the optional 302 cubic inch V8 under the hood. It gave these Fords very respectable power, and this one gets the job done even better with an upgrade to a four-barrel carburetor. It still looks quite original right down to the correct blue air cleaner and valve covers. More importantly, the motor runs extremely well, delivering a good wallop of low-end torque with a crisp V8 burble from the twin tailpipes out back. There has been a lot of careful maintenance on this motor that ranges from usual pieces like recent plugs and wires, to a larger items like a new dual master cylinder for the power brakes. As you pour over the pictures you can see plenty of proof that this is an exceptionally clean southern truck, and it has nice driving features like the C4 three-speed automatic, power steering, and front disc brakes that make it very driveable. Still flathead powered, it's got that charming way of doing its thing that makes the flathead V8 and old trucks a great part of the old car hobby. Ford's F-1 pickups have been perennial best-sellers, even before they were known as the F150. One glance at this great-looking little pickup is all the reason you need for its success and the early post-war examples are the epitome of "old truck" fun. But this isn't some beat up old farm hand; no, it's got a lot of new components, including fiberglass front fenders and running boards, plus a bed that looks extremely fresh, all adding up to a quality little truck that has a great deal of charm. The green paint is a variation of the hunter green that almost every old pickup wore at some point in its life, but there's a bit of metallic in the finish that really lights it up. Factory trim, including the wonderful hood vents and nostrils, means it has an authentic old timey look and the wood stake sides on the bed, complete with Texaco markings, gives it an ideal 1950s flair. The light-colored wood bed, which appears to be maple, is a nice contrast to both the dark green paint and the usual honey-colored oak, giving this Ford another way to stand out in a crowd. Simple is good inside, where you'll find a freshened bench seat with a tan vinyl seat cover that's a nice contrast to the green paint. Aside from some aftermarket turn signals and a black leather wrapper on the steering wheel, it's quite authentic, although carpeted floor mats might have been a desirable upgrade back in the 1950s. The original gauges offer a pretty good summary of what the flathead V8 is doing up front and the dials themselves are unquestionably original, which is always welcome in a truck like this. The tan plastic in the center stack is remarkably well preserved (it may be reproduction) and that's where the optional AM radio might have lived, had this truck been so equipped. If you live someplace where it gets cool in the fall, then the under-dash heater will be a welcome addition, but beyond that it's no-frills fun all the way. You simply can't go wrong with a venerable Ford flathead V8. This is the most common 239 cubic inch version, which offers great performance and one of the best exhaust notes ever created. It's really nice done under the hood, with bright Ford Red paint on the engine itself, a recent carburetor, and even the original 6-volt generator making the electricity. The fuel system has been recently overhauled, including a fresh fuel tank and a new fuel pump, in addition to the aforementioned carburetor, so it runs well and doesn't seem to have "flathead fever" in the heat. Using a single exhaust pipe, it has a great V8 sound that's exactly right on a vintage pickup and despite its modest specifications, the truck feels quick and agile around town and doesn't mind cruising at 50 MPH. The 3-speed manual transmission shifts easily and doesn't get grumpy and the rear end looks to be out of a late-model, so it's undoubtedly got some highway-friendly gears inside. The wheels are late-model F150 pieces painted to match and carry 225/70/15 radials that look appropriate on the old truck. Flathead Fords have been popular for decades for very good reasons, and this truck delivers a motoring experience that's fun without the hard work. Here's a secret: Mustangs are really Falcons underneath. Yes, that's right, this cool 1964 Ford Falcon Futura hardtop runs and drives just like its more popular brother for a fraction of the cost. Complete with a strong-running 302 and a great paint job, it's also somewhat rare in its own right. Restored several years ago, they decided to keep the bright, vivid code F Guardsman Blue; why change a good thing? Thanks to excellent care and maintenance, the finish remains shiny with only a few minor blems from being driven and enjoyed, and you certainly can't blame them for that. There's a bit of metallic in the paint, too, so the compact Falcon seems to take on the look of a bigger, more substantial car and the light plays over the detailing that's often lost on solid colors. For instance, dig the vestigial tail fins, the dual reliefs running down the center of the hood like racing stripes, and the cool way the sheetmetal follows the contours of the side trim. Never noticed that stuff on a Falcon before, did you? The car looks great in person, and you'll be proud to roll up to the next cruise night behind the wheel, and you'll undoubtedly get extra appreciation for daring to be a little different. Matching blue buckets give the interior a sporty demeanor, and there's plenty of space for four in this cool ragtop. Since blue is the car's original interior color, it has a very uniform look thanks to a lot of new parts, including carpets with the correct weave along with fresh door panels, a new dash pad, and even proper blue sun visors. The Falcon didn't necessarily include a center console, and many prefer the purposeful look of this car, which uses a column shifter for the C4 3-speed automatic transmission. The gauges are basic, but they all work, and the original AM radio remains in place. It's extremely clean and the lack of modifications suggests that someone cared about making this one right rather than customizing it to their tastes. We always appreciate that. The steering wheel is particularly nice, with a bright chrome horn ring and button that add a little flash to the utilitarian passenger compartment. There's also a new mat and spare tire cover, which give the trunk a factory-correct look. The 302 cubic inch V8 nestled between the shock towers looks awfully familiar, doesn't it? It does a great impersonation of the original 260 and brings a few extra horsepower. It's not over-dressed, but with a chrome air cleaner and Ford Blue valve covers, it looks nice enough that you can tell it's been loved. Thanks to a 4-barrel carburetor, it makes great power and a wonderful V8 soundtrack, moving the lightweight Falcon easily. A Ford C4 3-speed automatic transmission can take the abuse and delivers better entertainment than you'd expect: just stomp and steer and this little car rears up and goes! Out back, there's a street-friendly 8-inch rear end, plus a lot of new suspension components, including the entire front end. One glance underneath will convince you that this Falcon has nothing to hide. It's highly original, very solid, and there's no thick coating of rustproofing goop designed to hide shoddy workmanship. The exhaust sounds muscular without being obnoxious, making this Falcon more of a sleeper than any Mustang could ever muster, and those handsome 15-inch Torque Thrust wheels and 215/65/15 General tires fit perfectly and look right. For all the thrills of a Mustang in a more unusual and stealthy package, this Falcon deserves a look. The Fairlane lives in the shadow of its Chevrolet competition and its "retractable" siblings, although the Fairlane has tidier proportions, all of which make a compelling case for this gorgeous ragtop. Repainted in original code F, Starmist Blue, the car looks spectacular today. The paint is acrylic urethane, which means it'll last practically forever and there's a shine on this car that Ford designers could only dream about. 1957 Fords had all-new styling that many feel is a big improvement over the earlier models, with hooded headlights, a wrap-around windshield, and that dramatic sweeping trim dividing the bodywork. And if it's fins and chrome you're after, you've come to the right place, with a massive front bumper/grille assembly, that gorgeous stainless side trim, and jet-inspired taillights out back, all of which make the Ford look like nothing else on the road. And to make a big car seem even longer, there's a continental kit out back and custom fender skirts that give it a long, low stance. Finish quality is quite good and the Ford's forward-canted looks give it the appearance of speed, even when it's standing still, so you'll find it hard to resist on a sunny day. The two-tone blue and white vinyl interior was restored when the bodywork was done, and makes a bright '50s fashion statement. The pleated door panels match the seat inserts and use traditional patterns to really take you back in time. Ford embraced the jet age with their dashboard styling, including the arched speedometer and a steering wheel flanked by two groups of three switches on either side. The original AM radio is gone, replaced by a far more functional AM/FM unit in the original location with a remote CD player, and it appears that no OEM components were harmed in the installation. The massive trunk is fully lined with the usual gray mouse fur material, along with a full-sized spare and jack assembly. A fresh white power vinyl top was installed as well, and it retracts easily behind the rear seat and hides under a matching white boot for the ultimate in open-air cruising. This Fairlane also packs Ford's top engine for 1957, the 312 cubic inch "Thunderbird Special" V8. With a 4-barrel carburetor and dual exhaust, it moves the luxurious ragtop with effortless ease and a crisp V8 burble from the twin tailpipes. Rebuilt about 2000 miles ago and nicely detailed with plenty of chrome and Ford Blue Paint, the engine bay isn't totally stock but it sure looks good. Key it up and it fires quickly, settling into an even idle that makes you want to ease it down the highway. The 2-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission was rebuilt at the same time and out back there's an indestructible Ford 9-inch with highway-friendly gears that make this a fantastic cross-country cruiser. And for safety, the braking system has been upgraded to a dual master cylinder with front discs, giving this heavy ragtop a much better safety rating. Custom chrome wheels with baby moon hubcaps and a set of recent whitewall radials give it just the right look. Go ahead and price a few '57 Bel Airs and Ford Retractables, then take another look at this Fairlane. It's A LOT of car for the money. But beyond rarity, the amazing condition of this 1957 Ford Thunderbird breeds its desirability. Gunmetal Gray is the best attention-grabbing hue for a first-generation Thunderbird. These icons are usually painted in pastel colors, but this car's factory-correct Code N paint is a true rare standout. It gives a feeling of a modern color palette, especially because this takes advantage of a recent reapplication of the Gunmetal with thorough modern paint practices. The result is an award-winning finish that gives this icon an outstanding luster. And you really do need your paint to shine on a pristine T-bird because these came from the factory with plenty of intricate brightwork. It starts with the large grille with the offset badge that carries a hint about the beast under the hood. There's intricate bright trim around the windshield, rear fender skirt, and (when in place) the matching hardtop. All this chrome ends in the bold jet-inspired rear with a bumper so integral that the exhaust exits through its corners. Of course, there's no missing those original chrome wire wheel covers with the white F-O-R-D centers that match perfectly with the Coker whitewall tires. While the exterior looks amazing, people will gravitate towards interior simply because the factory Flame Red radiates like lava from a volcano. Style and luxury were the true hallmarks of this classic, and that's why it came with rare features for its time, like the power seats and power windows. Not only do those unction perfectly, but so do the other original components like the heat/defrost and AM radio. It's all displayed in an engine-turned panel that flows across both doors and the dash. This frames many of the intricate styling touches such as logo embossed side panels and the power steering wheel. Beyond that you could see that the Thunderbird was getting serious about competing with the Corvette with its full gauge package, including the large speedometer prominently in the center. The black vinyl top looks so nice that we suspect it's new. The current owner did not want go through to removing and replacing the hardtop just to showcase the folding roof for photos (and if you're careful with your classics, you instantly understand this.) So currently you can only see the soft top in the interior photos, but a larger photo package is available to all serious inquiries. Besides, there's no better silhouette than the iconic style of the porthole windows in the included hardtop. As amazing as this T-bird's exterior and interior look, you'd expect only the best in the engine bay, too. It has been restored and maintained to appear just as it did when this convertible left the Dearborn factory 59 years ago...it even still has the original numbers-matching motor. Everything is in place from the Thunderbird valve covers to the reproduction battery. And of course you've noticed that distinctive air cleaner by now. That's the sign of the dual four-barrel carburetors of the rare E-code 312 cubic-inch V8. This 270 hp performance upgrade gave the Thunderbird the ability to run with the Corvettes, but that's not why you buy this car. This was Ford's personal luxury vehicle. A '57 T-bird is about having the confidence to outmuscle lesser classics, but the maturity to enjoy the leisure that power steering, a three-speed automatic, and relaxed suspension provides. If you know the difference between a car show and a concours, then you know how this one stacks up against other Thunderbirds. If you're looking for a cut above, call today. 1957 Ford Thunderbird for Sale 1957 Ford Thunderbird for Sale Stock # 0145-TPA Charlotte Showroom 5400 West WT Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC 28269 Local/International: (704) 598-2130 Toll-Free: (866) 542-8392 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Atlanta Showroom 213 Thornton Rd Lithia Springs, GA 30122 Local/International: (678) 279-1609 Toll-Free: (877) 367-1835 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom 5400 Sandshell Dr Fort Worth, TX 76137 Local/International: (817) 764-8000 Toll-Free: (855) 877-2707 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM CST Sat: 9AM - 5PM CST Email: [email protected] Tampa Showroom 4610 Pet Lane Lutz, FL 33559 Local/International: (813) 501-1630 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] TERMS OF SALE Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classic Cars prior to the end of the auction. The only problem is that market prices have skyrocketed lately. So the value price already makes this 1966 Ford F-100 attractive even before you inspect its stellar condition. First off, this white paint with red accents gives off a feeling that's mixture of tradesman's ride and classic hot rod. Because this one doesn't show a lifetime of working 9 to 5, you can really see the intricate sheetmetal that came on these vintage pickups. Ford did an amazing job in '66 with a little fender flare in the front, power dome hood, and the sporty appearance of the flareside bed. Plus, the red wheels do a great job of conveying an aggressive attitude, without betraying this F-100's vintage nature. There isn't an overload of brightwork, so you instantly take in the details like the badging, and side mirror. As cool as this pickup looks, it's not afraid to still roll up its sleeves and get dirty. That's why the wood bed floor has been replaced with clean, tough steel, and the whole area has been treated with lining paint. Open the door and you'll find a bench seat covered in a cool red and black pattern that helps set the mood for the entire interior. The door panels and rubber floor are a nice black that doesn't really show dirt, and the dash is given a nice aggressive red touch. Even with this modern combination, there are still great vintage touches like the classic Ford steering wheel, and clear original speedometer package. You can take your friends around in comfort with the heat/defrost, and knob-style AM/FM stereo. But you'll be the one enjoying everything the most because your right hand will never leave the hot rod style shifter. The VIN will tell you this should be powered by a 240 cubic-inch inline six cylinder motor, and that's exactly what you'll find under the hood. For those disappointed that this isn't a V8 truck, you really should experience what a torquy 3.9-liter motor feels like. It has potent presence, especially since you have complete control of the powerband thanks to the three-speed manual transmission. The engine bay even looks kind of cool with the block's upright dark appearance, and the aggressive red accents. But more importantly this motor fires up without hesitation, and power steering means it's easy to take down the road. In fact, with its GVWR at 5,000 lbs and trailer hitch, this Ford can even be a very cool and distinct way to tow some toys. This is your opportunity to pay a little and get a lot. Vintage pickups are hot, but this well-sorted and stylish F-100 is well within any budget. Ford never made an Expedition SVT Lightning, but this very special custom build gives you the opportunity to have a supercharged V8 family hauler. From the outside you can already tell this is no ordinary Ford Expedition. The wraparound headlights and blacked-out grille make a bold first impression. Then as people get closer they'll start to notice that this one is not wearing factory maroon paint. Instead this Expedition has been specially dipped in Burgundy Metallic that has a far deeper luster than even modern factory colors. Plus, it has some great glossy black accents around the wheel arches and surrounding the front bumper. This draws attention to the new 20" Gear six-star alloy wheels. Open the door and you immediately see the customization continuing. It starts with the tan leather buckets with the textured maroon inserts that coordinate with the exterior color. Not only does that material feel especially nice wrapped on the center armrests, but also take a closer look at the console in-between the rear seats - that's a amplifier/subwoofer housing. It's part of a full custom AM/FM/CD/iPod/DVD navigation system that includes an LED screen for the front seats and a fold down screen for the rear. Even without the custom upgrades, this is a comfortable full-sized cruiser that's loaded with power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, power driver's seat, dual airbags, and automatic climate control. But the moment you slip behind the wheel you'll realize this is a true driver's machine. There's a full custom gauge package that includes a boost gauge mounted on the A-pillar. Lift the weight-saving fiberglass hood, and you'll see what you've always dreamed of but Ford never produced. That's the 5.4-liter Triton V8 with the Eaton supercharger attached. Yup, the monster motor from an F-150 Lightning was lifted and placed in the engine bay. Better yet, the builder of this Expedition didn't just through in a used F150 Lightning engine and it call it a day, the engine in this vehicle was purchased new from Ford Racing and has very few miles on it since being installed. In fact, this entire vehicle has been rebuilt from front to back so the mileage on the odometer is effectively meaningless at this point. And just in case people didn't recognize how special this one is from the wicked exhaust growl, the radiator shroud has custom artwork to tell them. Because the F-150 and Expedition are so closely related, this engine swap is far from an impossible task, but it's an expensive one that not too many people are willing to invest the time and money. Because this V8 is approaching 400 hp, the heavy duty 4R100 four-speed automatic transmission from the F-150 Lightning was also brought over to handle this seriously quick machine. But as much as this looks like a hot rod with a trailer hitch, there's a lot more usability to this one. Combine the overdrive transmission with the power steering and four-wheel disc brakes, and you have the recipe for a very comfortable long haul cruiser. This Expedition Lightning is a quality custom build that comes with the maintenance records to back up its good looks. It's the one machine that can uniquely tow your classic car to the show and then draw its own crowd at the event. So you know something this interesting at such an affordable price won't last long in our showroom. Rugged, dependable, stylish and user friendly are but a few words to describe this 1972 Ford F-100 Ranger. A southern truck with a great look, a torquey 302, and a fun 4-speed, this is cowboy cool at its finest. Scan the long flanks, covered in bright blue, and you'll find a driver-grade paint job that was done not too long ago. Not perfect, but plenty flashy and definitely the kind of truck that gets all kinds of thumbs-up gestures out on the road. There's a nice run of trim down the sides, a bright grille up front and a tailgate applique: this is a top-of-the-line Ranger. Bright windshield moldings, rear window moldings and drip rail moldings speak quietly what the badges on the side of the bed loudly shout. Being a Southern truck, the cab and bed are solid, and the repaint is clean and holding up very well. The '72 only grille is excellent, as are the big F O R D letters on the hood. All lights and lenses are clear and work as they should. Tinted glass is a nice touch which makes for an even more comfortable ride and gives it an updated, sleek look. The bed is clean, wearing a spray-in bedliner and a set of shiny bed rails add the finishing statement. Inside, you'll find a reupholstered seat in factory-style gray fabric taking center stage. Rangers came with carpeting instead of rubber floor mats, and that made a world of difference in cabin noise. The dowdy two-spoke tiller was ditched in favor of a classic three-spoke piece with a fat rim that's easy to grip and a modern AM/FM/CD stereo replaces the original AM unit. The woodgrain on the dash and bright seat hinge covers are other Ranger touches. Matching gray door panels feel more sophisticated than the original vinyl units and speakers have been installed down low in the doors for improved sound. The gauges are original and the lens is a little cloudy, but we have to admit that we like the look and especially the blue-highlighted FORD lettering across the center. And yes, that's a Hurst T-handle shifter for the 4-speed manual gearbox underneath, making this pickup feel a lot more muscular than you'd expect. Under the hood is a 302 cubic inch V8, a big step up from the standard straight six. It's dressed up a bit with a new chrome air cleaner and freshly painted valve covers; after all, who can resist a little bit of the shiny stuff? There's a modern serpentine belt drive setup on the front of the engine, which helps with reliability, and an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor up top for horsepower. The twin I beam suspension and tall 3.00 gears in the 9-inch housing out back make highway travel just as pleasurable. There's a nice rumble from the dual exhaust with glasspack-style mufflers, offering that traditional 5.0 rumble that's become so familiar. The frame and floors are original, untreated and not doctored with in any way; this really is a clean truck. Fat 255/60/15 radials on late-model F150 aluminum wheels set the attitude. Best of all? This truck DRIVES great! They built a lot of F-series trucks over the years, but few survive in this condition, and that's why this one is special. This one packs a rumbling 347 cubic inch stroker motor, a 4-speed, and a restoration that you couldn't even get close to duplicating for the asking price. Never mind that it runs like an early Mustang and looks cool, this is a ton of car for the money. This bright red hardtop is one nice little sleeper. The Falcon was conservative, yes, but it was also rugged, reliable, and had great familial DNA that made it look like a scale Fairlane. The Rangoon Red paint makes it a flashy machine that gets a lot of attention out on the road, and the quality of the work belies the price tag because it looks pretty darned good. It's not perfect, of course, but the shine is far better than 1960s paint tech would deliver, and the car was put together the way the factory would have done it, so it feels solid going down the road. Lots of bright trim ties in with the other Ford products of the era, including the sweeping side trim with a contrasting black insert and "Sprint" script on the front fenders. Round taillights continue Ford's fascination with "jet age" styling, and nothing but the relatively fat rear tires give away this little Falcon's secret. From behind the wheel, it's easy to see where the Mustang gets its handsome good looks, as the Falcon includes a handsome and unique gray and red interior. Looking far more upscale than you'd expect, the seats wear fresh covers front and rear and the doors have been upholstered to match, so it all looks very period-correct. The dash should look familiar to anyone who's driven a Ford of this vintage, with a wide speedometer flanked by round pods with auxiliary gauges inside. This one also sports a cool Stewart-Warner tach on the steering column and a set of modern auxiliary gauges underneath the dash, along with a handsome color-matched steering wheel and a Hurst cue ball shifter for the 4-speed gearbox. The factory AM radio remains in the dash, and it's kind of nice to see it there instead of the ubiquitous modern head unit. In back, there's a trunk that's more spacious than you'd expect, and it has been fully carpeted just like the interior. The door tag says this one originally came with an F-code 260, so it's a real V8 car, but this one is packing nearly 100 extra cubes in the form of a stroked 302 punched out to 347 cubic inches. It's a very strong runner thanks to a big Holley 4-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum heads, and an MSD ignition system. Other details include the Falcon-logo finned valve covers with matching air cleaner. Long-tube headers dump into a fresh dual exhaust system that sounds spectacular. The rest of the chassis is in good order with tubular front A-arms and rack-and-pinion steering, subframe connectors to reinforce the tub, and heavy-duty Caltrac traction bars out back. Out back, it carries 3.80 gears with a limited slip inside a 9-inch housing and there's a disc brake at all four corners. Vintage-looking Torque Thrust wheels are exactly the right choice and wear staggered 165/80/15 front and 235/55/16 rear performance radials. A lot of V8 performance in a great-looking package, this Falcon clearly cost more than the asking price to build. A bargain back then and an even bigger one today. Streetside Classics is not an expert in the construction, engineering, finishes, materials, and componentry of every single vehicle we sell. It is the responsibility of the buyer to either inspect the vehicle personally or via a 3rd party, to ensure satisfaction to the condition and value, prior to purchase. Streetside Classics strives to perform extensive visual inspections on all vehicles we represent but we do not disassemble vehicles or components for inspection purposes and therefore it is always possible that there is hidden damage that is not readily apparent. All vehicles are sold AS-IS with no warranties expressed or implied. If you decide to purchase from us, we require that you give us your complete name, address and phone numbers (home, office, mobile and fax) and a port of entry that handles containers. We do not ship vehicles open (RORO: Roll On Roll Off) due to risk of damage to vehicle and theft of parts. All international purchases must be paid by bank wire transfer in US Dollar funds only. Once we have received the funds, we will prepare the car for international shipment through one of our approved land and ocean carriers. We file all the necessary documents for export, deliver the car to a US port, secure it in containers and board an ocean carrier. We can land a vehicle to any port worldwide handling container traffic. We export cars regularly and are familiar with export requirements. You, or your agent, are responsible for Custom clearing the vehicle and registration in your own country.
