For Sale By Owner: silver 2002 Honda Accord V6 4-door sedan which is automatic, with leather seats, sunroof, ATS, engine in good shape, automatic windows/doors, sensitive security alarm. Two owners only, 170k. Over the last year, I have replaced the transmission, catalytic converter (it was stolen), fuel pump, front wheel bearings, and battery. Rear wheel bearings need to be replaced (app. $500) and eventually the rear struts ($300). Minor body blemishes and bumper scratches from wear/tear in NYC. Right front passenger door scratch. It has consistently received oil changes and attention from a mechanic every 3,000 miles. While I made some major repairs on it, it's still a great car and has lots of life in it. Have one of the cleanest Honda Accords on the road for the age. Few tasteful mods only to improve looks and driving. All service up to date. New radiator and fans, coolant temp switch, fan switch, alternator v belt and tires. No rips in leather, power everything (seats, locks, sunroof, mirrors) and everything works. Drives like a dream with no issues. Front bumper and fender had a few dents and dings and road rash from driving, instead of trying to repair I bought brand new bumper and fender and had them painted. That's the type of care this car gets. Price is a little negotiable but not much, worth every penny. Good for a teen in school or for a good on gas work commuter. A/C could use some work, it blows but not cold. Heat does work. All power options work including seats, all windows and sunroof. Steering wheel radio controls work. Now the bad. The hood is not aligned correctly so it latches down but does not lock. Say if you go to your car and pull the hood latch on the inside and it pops, that's where the hood is. I drive it on the freeway so it is definitely secure and it won't come up but I just have to disclose that. The windshield is also cracked on the lower driver side, crack hasn't grown since I bought the car so I was in no hurry to fix it. Also the new paint on bumper and fender when car is clean looks a lot better than the rest of the car in certain light, guess it wasn't blended as well as it could have been. Most problems are cosmetic but mechanically the car is sound and could be driven anywhere. If you have any further questions do not be hesitant to contact me.

Super Nice Insight! Capable of 70mpg! Super strong hybrid battery! No warning lights! No Accidents! Clean AutoCheck Report! Michelin Tires!! Exterior Condition- The factory Silverstone Metallic paint is in very good condition. There are no indications of any rust, flood, or accident history of any kind. All of the body panels have their original vin stickers on them. The right wheel cover has 2 thin scratches that are about 14" long (barely noticeable from 5' away). The front spoiler has 2 tears in it (see pics). The only other blemish is a small 6" light scratch on the right quarter (also very light and hardly noticeable). Overall the Insight is in much better condition than you would expect for any car of the same vintage and mileage! Interior Condition- The interior is equally as clean. The only blemishes are noticeable under close scrutiny only. The seats are in near perfect condition. The dash, headliner, and carpets are very clean. All of the interior options perform as they should, including the a/c. The trip reset button may have a dirty connection as it only works intermittently. Engine and Transmission- The engine performs as it should with no strange noises, leaks, or vibrations. It has plenty of power for any traffic situations. The engine oil has just been changed. It is ready to drive anywhere! The clutch performs normally. The transmission downshifts great through all gears (it does not have the common synchro problem). There is a very subtle "notch" when up shifting, it is not a grind, just a slight pause before going into the next gear. I changed the gear oil to full synthetic last week and it made a huge difference, but I have only driven it 10 miles so far. I suspect as the synthetic gear oil works it way through the trans it will disappear completely. Again it is very subtle and will probably be gone all together by the time the new owner takes possession. Hybrid Battery- The hybrid battery is stronger than other Insights I have had in the past. I suspect that it has been changed or upgraded. Normal driving, around 40-50mph the gauge indicates it is getting around 80mpg! Tires- The tires are a newer matching set of Michelins, with approximately 3/4 tread depth remaining. Feel free to come by and take a look anytime!
