This is a great old Model A Ford. It drives nice,All the gears are good.All the lights work. The aahooga horn works very well. I have put on a new, shorter pitman arm to make the steering easier. All the shocks are on the Model A and work well.The doors shut extremely well.The ignition electronics has been upgraded and a 6 volt alternater was installed. The back tires are new. the rest of the tires are in good shape. I had the exhaust pipe extended so that the exhaust gas would not be expelled under the cab. The spark plugs are all new. I just drained , flushed and replaced all of the fluids. I purchased the coupe from the widow of the previous owner. I was informed that the previous owner had the motor overhauled and had the motor computer balanced. It also has a new battery. I have not put 500 miles on the car since I purchased it.I just had the Model A painted. It's two tone and is original Model A colors. Please look at the photos - They show just how nice this Model A Ford coupe is. I have owned other Model A Fords and this one is the best one I have ever owned.

A very nice example of a 1930 truck. The engine has been rebuilt and runs like a champ. The truck is a great driver and is still in the original configuration. That is 6 volt positive ground generator powered. You still have to retard timing to start. Obvious to the Model A crowd but I need to state for people whom aren't familiar with that. The truck is solid and great for the time it has in the world. The paint is in good shape but looks like it has about 20 plus years on it, my guess is old school enamel single stage. It has lived in a garage for quite some time. If you want showroom paint this truck doesn't have it. I do not see excessive bondo work or rust bubbles. I do not want to overstate or over sell what is here I'm trying to paint a clear picture. If I were going to keep it long term I would replace the tires (they are functional but show some dry cracking), I would replace the radiator (it does not leak it just shows many repairs over the years). The only leak I have seen is, the water pump drips at the shaft. The interior and top are in great shape. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask. The previous owner started to upgrade brakes but did not finish so it does not stop. Extra parts with car and believe everything is there to finish that upgrade. The car was painted sometime in its life and the older paint is definitely showing its age. Body appears to be pretty solid with signs of only minor repair work. Tires are good. Relatively easy restoration project. Top is new with new side curtains and seats have been redone. Car can be checked out anytime. Ask questions I will do my best to represent this.

1930 Model A Woodie Hot RodThe last 2 owners have passed away but I was able to gather some history from people familiar with the car. The Woodie was built around 1980 by California Street Rods in Huntington Beach and the original owner lived on the coast in the San Diego area. It was always garage kept and rarely driven although it was a regular at Wavecrest events and is pictured in the June 2002 issue of Street Rodder magazine. I found some pictures on the web from later Wavecrest events but the car probably has been driven less than 5,000 miles since it was built. California Registration remained current through 2016. The car runs good and the trans shifts smooth. It was clearly a high end build and seems to be mechanically sound but after 35+ years it could use some detailing and updates.The car is a true Woodie and has all the Woodie specific hinges, brackets, seats, cowl etc. New wood was purchased in 1978 probably from Doug Carr. The fenders are fiberglass and the left front has a crack and old repair at the front. The wood is in good condition and was refinished once. The stock gas tank is still in the cowl. The seats are recovered originals. It has a tilt wheel column.The chassis features all the top of the line parts of the era. The frame is T.C.I. and the front suspension is a narrow Super Bell tube axle, Pete & Jakes 4 Bar, Mustang steering and disc brakes. When new the front suspension was all chrome but after years on the coast it has all been painted black. The rear is an 8” with ladder bars and coil overs. The motor is a 350 Chevy that was new when the car was built. It has the cool old CSR built headers and a Walker radiator w/ electric fan. The trans is Turbo 350 w/ Gennie shifter.Please call with any questions. Would consider partial trades for Early Ford cars, projects, bodies or parts.
