All you have to do is collect the car at your nearest port and enjoy! Please note that we are not a transport company and only offer this service as a convenience to our customers. You are more than welcome to arrange your own shipping. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received. If you are the high bidder and unable to inspect said vehicle before auction close, you or an agent will have (7) days to inspect said vehicle after the close of auction. I encourage a physical inspection strongly to avoid any misunderstandings or representations. All used vehicles should be assumed to have some degree of wear. No vehicle is perfect to everyone. Each vehicle has its strengths, styles, tendencies and shortcomings. Therefore, despite our best efforts to verify a vehicle’s mechanical condition, we are not able to warranty a manufacturer’s workmanship or previous owner’s diligence in care. It is for this reason that all vehicles are sold ”WHERE/IS, AS/IS”. We have described the above mentioned vehicle to the best of our ability. However, with all classic and exotic vehicles, the condition is subjective. Please be advised that no oral or written statements concerning any vehicle constitutes a representation or warranty of the condition of the said vehicle. INDUSTRY UNIQUE RETURN POLICY: If for any reason you receive your vehicle and have buyer’s remorse, are not happy with the vehicle or just don’t want it for any reason we will purchase the car back from you. We must be notified in writing of your decision to return the vehicle within seven (7) days of your receipt of said vehicle. The vehicle may not have more than 75 additional miles on the odometer from the time it left our possession and be returned in the same condition that it left. For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1929 Ford Model A. The Ford Model A has long been known as the canvas for hot rod builders due to their availability and aftermarket support. Our particular canvas has been painted up in traditional hot rod fashion. Left all steel as it should be, this A is painted in flat black with incredible red and white hand drawn pin striping. Under the hood of this flat black beast lies a GM crate 350 with 4 bolt main, Edlebrock carb, velocity intake, performer RPM intake, and plenty of chrome to go around. Behind the engine is the hot rod standard TH350 mated to a Corvette posi rear end. The interior is done in period correct diamond tufted black leather and has period style stewart warner gages but some additional upgrades like modern sound system to keep things comfortable. The front axle is lowered traditionally by a dropped I beam axle while the rear uses a transverse spring and ladder bars. This 29 also sports the always cool rumble seat done in the same diamond tufted black leather. For old school cool this model A can%26acirc;??t be beat and will make a great addition to any collection. For sale in our Orlando showroom is a completely custom 1931 Ford Model A Woody. This custom cruiser looks like something that would come straight out of a Beach Boys song. This 31\' Ford for sale has an updated drivetrain, powered by a peppy 302 cubic inch V8. With performance air intake, Edelbrock carburetor, and headers with full exhaust, the engine is built well for this lightweight car. It\'s backed by a AOD overdrive automatic transmission. The overdrive transmission has a nice first gear, which allows for nice acceleration, with an overdrive gear which allows for cruising the highway with ease. The power is put to the ground via an 8.8 Ford rear end. The drivetrain is solid and is ready for any grocery store run, beach rendezvous, or cruise-in. The frame is also custom, including: A 4\" drop, Super Bell front end, Wilwood disc brakes, stainless four bar set-up, and Mustang steering. The exterior is custom and was built by hand, consisting of two different types of wood. The body is a gorgeous shade of Metallic Blue. The interior is very basic, with: VDO gauges, cloth bucket seats, Lokar shifter, grant steering wheel, a tilt column. **** ESTATE SALE **** From a southern California ESTATE ....... A custom ALL STEEL FORD model A 5 window Resto-Mod coupe and this Car stops traffic and people in their tracks whenever it is out. The Car was purchased by the builder in the late 1990's and toyed with the idea of building a very special Hot Rod. Once he began ..... it was14 years before it was completed. A Stunning Custom Coupe that was featured in the 2009/2010 Hot Rod Magazine Show Car edition Vol 33. (A copy of the magazine comes with the Car).............. After it was finished the owner entered it in numerous shows and always took home at least one award. Please take the time to watch the 100 photo slideshow at the bottom of this description. Since the build was completed in 2009 the Car has been driven less than 900 miles. Purchased by the current owner from the Builder 3 years ago, it has been stored indoors and driven very little since that time. Health issues are forcing the sale now ....... and ...... someone is going to get a great street rod at about half the price of what you could build it for today. More importantly....... This Coupe is NOT a project ...... it is done!...... Ready to be enjoyed. The photos show how sharp this Coupe looks but even more important is the driveability of this Car. Starts right up and idles smooth. At 2000 RPM you are traveling at 50 MPH and at 2400 RPM you are at 60 MPH. Modern disc brakes so ....... no issues with stopping. Does not overheat in traffic. In short this is as good as it gets for a modern resto-mod hot rod. All of the classic old school look .......... with the modern features that make it fun, easy and safe to drive. The 350 Chevy small block runs great and has been chromed and polished with the headers feeding into a great sounding flow-master exhaust system. Sounds healthy and strong ..... but not obnoxious. Here is a partial list of what it took to create and build this classic resto-mod coupe ........ PAINT Painted with Dupont Super jet black base coat and clear coated with a custom flame job by Bill Roell that included the flames, pin striping and gold leaf to the exterior.......... It is not unusual for people to stop their cars ...... get out and take photos of this car when they see it parked. I'm not kidding. You get a lot of attention and will be talking to a lot of people when you take this Coupe out on the town. It was not built to be a trailer queen or a professional show car ......... but still as nice as you will see on the street anywhere and plenty nice enough to win many cars shows. This car is a blast to drive and is a treat to be able to polish, look at and share with other people. Here are some of the details of this Custom Built RESTO-MOD: FRAME/SUSPENSION/ENGINE Brookville roadster frame Chromed & polished stainless steel front suspension 9 inch FORD rear end with vented disc brakes and a 3:50 gear ratio Chevy 350 cubic inch V-8 with Keith Black pistons, eagle rods, crane cam & lifters 9:1 Compression Turbo 400 Chevy automatic transmission Walker 4-core big block radiator American Racing 15 inch Wheels with Bridgestone 185/65R tires up front & Dunlop P235/70 on the rear. INTERIOR Black Leather Billet specialties polished steering column and steering wheel 1932 Ford dash with billet specialties gauge insert w/ Ford motor script gauges Alpine CD player & Alpine speakers Ball's power trunk and power windows Remote controlled Power doors reversed Tinted glass Lokar shifter & emergency brake w/ 8 ball shift knob CUSTOM BODY MODIFICATIONS 3 inch chopped top with a steel roof insert Recessed suicide doors with carolina custom hinges Custom steel floor 1930 Ford Body was acid dipped to remove aqny surface rust Brookville roadster recessed fire wall Shaved door handles and Badges 1932 Ford gas tank mounted on rear with stainless rear spreader bar Brookville roadster steel front & rear fenders & running boards w/ '32 grille 1939 Ford tail lights recessed into rear fenders Gear head recessed 3rd brake light under rear window Rootleib Steel smooth 3 piece hood w/ Carolina customs hood hinges Stainless steel front grille insert Custom front spreader bar w/ turn signals The Car is beautiful and ready to be driven or shown ....... It is available to be seen by appointment in Indio, California. It is being SOLD for about half ...... or a little less than half ...... of what it would cost to duplicate it today.......... As good as it gets......... Please e-mail or call Michael at 760-219-7128 with questions or to schedule a appointment to see it. In case your looking at your computer or tablet and thinking ....... yeah ....... That Car looks good on the internet .... but in person I wonder? .......... To answer the question ..... The Car looks better in person. Inside ....... Outside ... and ...... under the Hood ...... these photos do NOT do it justice. It is beyond nice ........ TERMS of SALE: We require a $2,000.00 deposit within 48 hours of the Auction end and we require full payment within 7 days of the Auction end without exception. PayPal is fine for the deposit but not the balance. For the balance we would prefer a Bank to Bank wire-transfer or you can send a check by Priority mail or FedEx if you prefer. Rugged, simple, with plentiful parts supplies and thriving club activities, the Model A is the perfect early collectable, and I bet you'll find one in even the most impressive collections. This 1929 Model A roadster pickup is one of the more desirable body styles that has recently come into fashion. The dark green paint is probably the car's original color, as Henry Ford had a fondness for darker colors, and it gives the tidy little commercial vehicle a ready-to-work look. There's no denying that the work is reasonably well done, with straight bodywork and a nice gloss to the finish, which is now a few years old. And any Model A without the black fenders is incorrect; as the saying goes, you could have your fenders any color you wanted as long as they were black. Black trim is also used on the belt molding at the tops of the doors, adding a little two-tone flash to the utilitarian bodywork, and the bed is fitted with oak planks that have a bit of patina, so you won't worry about throwing some stuff in there at the local Home Depot. There's not a lot of brightwork on the roadster pickup, with a black painted grille, accessory front bumper, and a side-mounted spare, which was standard equipment. Basic is the right word for any open Model A's interior, with weather-resistant materials and exactly zero creature comforts being the norm, but I guarantee you'll love every moment of it. The black vinyl bench seat is springy and comfortable, and wipes down with just a damp cloth. The steel dash is also the outside of the fuel tank, which is mounted above the engine to facilitate gravity feed to the carburetor. And the gauges consist of speed, fuel, and ammeter, with a single instrument lamp in the center. The big hard rubber steering wheel makes the A lively on the road, and houses the headlight control in the center. A black rubber mat covers the floorboards, and the carburetor is adjusted via a knob on the far right side. Remarkably enough the top on roadster pickups looks like it should fold, but it does not. Instead, it's like a removable hardtop. Fortunately, it's lightweight and easy to move all by yourself. On paper, the Model A's modest 40 horsepower from a 200 cubic inch inline four seems modest, but it makes great torque and delivers bright performance in the lightweight little truck. It also has a distinctive sound that fans recognize a block away. Carburetion and spark are brutally simple, and these cars will practically run underwater on a mixture of vodka and Aqua-Velva. The 3-speed manual gearbox is non-synchromesh, so brush up on your double-clutching, and the brakes are mechanical drums, so plan ahead. This truck has been dressed up with whitewall tires on the painted 21-inch wire wheels, adding just the right amount of contrast. Model As are simply great cars, and they always bring a smile to everyone's face. This one is as functional as it is fun, and I can guarantee many years of happy motoring behind the wheel. (941)286-0889 THIS VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN PROFESSIONALLY DETAILED!!! IT HAS BEEN WASHED AND WIPED DOWN WITH TURTLE WAX QUICK SHINE PRIOR TO BEING PHOTOGRAPHED. IMAGINE HOW AMAZING IT WILL LOOK WHEN YOU TAKE THE TIME TO DETAIL AT HOME! OVERVIEW Practically everyone loves a classic truck, and most of us really like the patina look, no matter if it is real or manufactured. Combine the two, and you have a head-turning little truck that is ready to collect trophies, or just cruise the boulevard! Please review the DETAILED DESCRIPTION and information provided below, and look through the 100 LARGE PHOTOS I have provided. If you have questions, or would like to arrange a private showing, please call me at 941-286-0889. THIS IS NOT A CONSIGNMENT CAR! I have the clean and clear title in hand, and the car is ready for immediate sale, delivery, and ownership. FOR VEHICLE FINANCING, APPLY ONLINE AT: WWW.JJBEST.COM CONDITION REPORT “Can I take a picture in it?” That question gets asked of you about 15 times every time you hit the streets in this radical little custom show truck, and for good reason…most people have never SEEN something so crazy and cool cruising down the street! This truck is the famous MAN MADE LEGENDS Shop Truck, built back when original owner John Sad was still at the helm of the NC Hot Rod and Restoration Specialist. If you’ve read a rod, Kulture, or customizing magazine in the last few years, you’ll surely recognize the name, as both the original team and the new owners have managed to turn out some of the koolest rides this side of the Mississippi over the years. This particular truck is a melding of classic old patina style and aging techniques combined with a quality build out to create a truck that is reliable and fun to drive, but with all the crazy appeal of a “Rat Rod” on top of it. The first thing that gets you is the appearance. It looks like it has been sitting in the back 40 for 50 years, and seems like it would blow away in a dust of rust with a strong wind, but on closer inspection you realize that it is a real, solid, steel body that has been painstakingly customized to LOOK old! How they do it is a shop secret, but take a look at all of the large photos I have provided and you will see that the truck has about as perfect a patina as you could get outside of Mother Nature. The patina treatment extends from the body to the chassis, to most of the components on the car, and even goes under the hood to the carefully treated engine and engine bay! From the inside out, and front to back, this truck gives off an appearance like it has sat outside since Henry Ford built it! Grab a magnet, and you’ll be amazed at how solid everything is, and how much effort was put into making sure all the doors, hood, and other parts lined up and fit. No bondo patches, no chicken wire, no crushed up beer cans… just Henry steel combined with a vivid imagination and extremely talented fabrication and finish work. Wood bed rails, bed floor, and fuel tank cover are all solid wood, and each plank was carefully treated and aged to make sure it didn’t look out of place on the truck. Real Surf Boards grace the top of the roof, and are bolted, screwed, and strapped into place to keep them intact on high-speed runs from Johnny Law. Original windshield visor is intact, and the windshield moves fore and aft to let additional ventilation in. Hood has functional aged leather straps in place to “hold it down”, but in reality, the front latch and attachment screw for the belt makes sure NO ONE steals a glance at the engine bay unless you want them to. Chrome mirrors on each side of the truck provide good views for the driver, and are practically the only bit of shiny bright stuff on the truck! Wheels are perfectly aged as well, and wrapped in BF GOODRICH Silverstone wide white wall bias-ply tires that have been purposefully NOT kept clean to go with the rest of the rides look. Everything from the suspension front and rear was purposefully aged and patina finished to keep the look going as well, but as you can see in the pictures, it is all clean, solid, and fully functional beneath it all. Custom striping throughout the truck looks amazing, and has been carefully aged as well so it doesn’t stick out. All of the logos and striping are hand-painted and look perfect on the truck! Everything from the rear bumper, hardware gate chains, lights, even the Coca-Cola bottle opener on the right rear of the bed… were all PURPOSEFULLY aged so that they fit the look and feel of the entire build. Back of the cab has a wood-framed license plate holder, but it does NOT have a plate light, so if your State requires one on classic cars, plan accordingly. The only other bit of chrome on the truck appears to be the vintage Chrome Lady lying on the fuel tank over. She is bolted down to keep thieving hands at bay! Rear glass has a little crack in it, but the windshield is crack and issue free. Chassis is primarily stock style components, which have all been aged accordingly in appearance, but function quite well. Drum brakes all around stop the truck with ease, and with a minimal amount of feedback to the driver. Shocks and springs work together nicely to provide a good ride, and you won’t chatter your teeth out on a highway cruise or rolling over a speed bump. A Ford 302CI V8 of unknown origin rests under the hood, and is a very mild stock build, with no radical internal components, mostly stock parts inside and out, a complete absence of billet and chrome, and a perfectly done patina on everything from the air cleaner to the block. It dripped a couple of drops after driving on the shop floor, so we tightened the oil and trans pan bolts and it stopped. Other than that, it is leak, weep, and drip free. It is not a smoker, and has no known issues at this time. It starts right up, idles cleanly, and appears to be tuned very well. Again, this is NOT a radically built motor. It was kept as close to stock as possible for reliability, ease of maintenance, and problem-free ownership. You can get practically anything the trucks powertrain needs at your local auto parts store, and it is a perfect vehicle for someone who lacks mechanical ability because ANY local garage can work on it for you. It is mated to a Ford 3-speed automatic transmission with a basically stock configuration, no shift kit, and no stall converter. It shifts smooth and easy in all gears, and combined with the smoothed 9” FORD rear end and its 3.73 gearing, provides more than manageable cruising speed to get you around town and to the next show. They even added weld bumps to the rear axle to make it look like it would have if someone narrowed it back in the day! This is NOT an Interstate cruising Power Tour car, but it is perfectly suited to cruise at 55mph and head to the next town for cruise night. Cooling system is a stock set-up, with a larger radiator and bigger fan. It stays cool when cruising, and lays at about 194 degrees when driving it. Get stopped for longer than 10 minutes in one place, like I did heading to the Island in it, and she will reach about 210 degrees, but quickly drops back down the second you start moving. All in all, a pretty cool running little machine considering the fact it doesn’t carry an auxiliary electric fan on board! I have had the pleasure of cruising this truck about 60 miles total, and it is a BLAST to drive! Drive. That is an important word, because between the bias ply tires and stock style suspension you actually need to DRIVE this thing! No time for selfies or using the rear-view to pretend you’re Caitlyn Jenner…it is all gas, brake, steer, and go with this machine! It is so much fun to drive, and you will be amazed at the attention it gets! All of the lights work, including headlamps, tail lamps, and signals. The interior of the truck is just as radical as the exterior, and has so much going on if you blink you’ll miss something! Aluminum aircraft bomber seats have been properly aged and fit with a burlap/boat vinyl seat cushion for comfort and protection from the elements. Floor is all steel with exposed rivets, and all of it has been acid-etched and painted with rustoleum for looks and protection. Door panels, kick panels, and rear panel are all covered in bamboo shade material, which not only looks great, but keeps with the “Water? No problem!” them of the interior! Steering wheel is a vintage something, and looks super cool while providing more than enough acreage to steer this beast with. Dash is original, with original center pod, but the key switch has been done away with in favor of a switch and push-button starting procedure. Vintage turn signal control box is mounted on the stock-style column. Center console was custom made, and housed the custom made shifter and housing. The gauge pod unit was created from a block of wood that was custom worked to hold the gauges for Speedometer/Odometer, OIL, TEMP, FUEL, and VOLTS. Everything seems to be working as it should, except for the Speedo, which the prior owner said needs a cable attached between it and transmission. Column mounted Tachometer is functional and looks great too. Control panel on lower left of dash houses switchgear for the truck, and works like it should. Doors shut tight, and the wood-topped levers open and close them solid and surely. This is NOT a back-yard built junker that you can’t even take down the block. This is a PRO-BUILT rod that was made to look old and ratty, but is extremely clean, solid, and well-constructed when you get past the paint. I have had a blast driving it out to the Island for a cruise night, and just zipping around town in it, and find it to be about as fun to drive as you could ask for. People absolutely LOVE IT. Men, women, old, young… it seems like everyone wants to take a picture with it, admire how nice it is once they get up close and really start examining it. If you want a radical looking truck that can win you a prize at a car show, drive you the next town for cruise night, and make YOU a legend in your town, this is the truck for you! TermsNotice to Bidders: At DustyOldCars we understand that to buy a vehicle you have not seen, from a dealer you have not met, requires a leap of faith that is why we make every effort to accurately and fairly describe our vehicles to our customers. However, with all pre-owned vehicles that are over 25 model years in age, the condition is subjective. Any errors are unintentional. They may have small dings, small scratches, and minor imperfections. The interior may also be worn due to corresponding miles on vehicle. Please be advised that you should expect a certain amount of wear, flaws from a vehicle over 25 model years in age and use that you would not expect from purchasing a new vehicle. Almost all of our cars are antique vehicles and at times, they may come without accessories such as extra keys, cd magazines, navigation discs, floor mats, tools, etc. and owners manuals. (Please call for actual miles at the time of purchase as we do drive some of the vehicles). Please read our descriptions and view all the pictures carefully to ensure that you are knowledgeable about the vehicle before ever placing a Bid.
