Had gearbox redone, and rear diffs are topped off. engine rides very smooth and transmission shifts perfectly. All glass is solid. Replaced woodgrain vinyl recently also. truck is an excellent driver.all roof rack grommets and window wipes have been changed. vehicle has never been lifted. Paint looks excellent from up close and has a lot of shine to it. Tie rod bushings replaced as well as both front rotors are new. This one off incredible jeep was built utilizing the “K.I.S.S.” theory (“Keep It Strong and Simple”). The power plant chosen for this project is the venerable Small Block Chevy V8. The NEW 355 CI Engine with vortec heads produces 375 Ft. Lb. of torque. Built by The Jasper Performance Division of Jasper Engines, it features a 3 Year / 100,000 Mile Transferable Warranty. Just tuned with a 600 CFM Edelbrock Performance Carburetor. It features a Dual Plane Aluminum Intake Manifold for increased torque! The Ignition System utilized is the MSD 6-AL. An Optima Deep Cycle Red Top Battery was used as it is ideal for trucks with winches and provides ultimate starting and deep cycle power to keep you from gettingstranded. A compact High Torque starter fits in nicely and works great. The Exhaust Features Coated Hooker Headers with true dual custom bent and welded pipes all the way back. Power is transferred through a TurboHydramatic 400 Transmission with a B&M Ratchet Shifter. This is mated to a New Process 205 Transfer Case used to turn a 14 Bolt GM Corporate Military Rear Axle w/ 4.88 Gears and a Locking Differential. Front Brakes are massive Chevy Truck disks w/ vented rotors. Rear brakes are massive drums common to many 1-Ton Trucks. All Brake Lines done with Stainless Steel Line. The HydroBoost Brake Booster system provides incredible stopping power. All Major Drivetrain components were chosen for Strength, Reliability, Availability, and Simple Maintenance without ridiculous future expense! The Professionally Built Custom Crafted Chassis utilizes stock GM truck components with the original Jeep frame cut and notched in. Gussets and strengtheners were also used providing Much More Strength and Rigidity than a 1-Ton truck. Stainless Steel and Grade 8 Fasteners used throughout. No Lift Kit was used or needed for this Jeep to sit over 14” Higher than a stock Wrangler. Wheels are 8 Lug, 16.5” Diameter x 12” Wide. Tires are 38” High Super Swamper TSL’s. Front and Rear Bumpers were Custom Fabricated using ¼” thick box steel. A 12,000 LB Winch was incorporated into the design of the Front Bumper w/ a Stinger Winch Guard and Auxiliary LED Light Bar. The Rear Bumper is made with a Receiver Hitch for Accessories and Towing. Fabricating the Tilt Front End required 2 Jeep Hoods and the front grill to be spliced together, addressing the stretched wheelbase. Replaced all steering and suspension tie rods and bushings. 4wd drive works as it should. No headliner. Interior is fair. Speakers and stereo head unit are updated. Clean interior for the age. Stains, but clean. Full set of matching 235.75.15 all terrains. New Cat. Passes smog no problem. DMV is good. Just buy it and enjoy!All the ball joints, tie rods, motor mounts, suspension bushings/ sway bar bushings in front have been replaced. Leaf springs are full length add-a-leaf. Recent battery (2016) (Interstate brand), alignment, fluid changes, more things than I can think of. Replaced brake shoes and pads earlier this year.Passed smog every time. Look at the history report, says "failed" and fixed same day. This was a technician mistake. Most recent smog was in 08/2016.Shocks are Monroe Sensatracs-new in 2013 Tires: Goodyear Wrangler 235/75/15 All terrain. Tires were new in 2012 and have estimated 15k miles on them.This is a daily driven vehicle that has proven to be reliable for me.I am the 3rd owner if I remember correctly. I purchased this Jeep in 2013.In photos I tried to show little bits of the not so good stuff. Cracked fog light still works. Driver side seat works, but is pretty well worn. Interior is fair. Speakers and stereo head unit are updated.All the ball joints, tie rods, motor mounts, suspension bushings in front have been replaced. Recent battery (Interstate brand), alignment, fluid changes, more things than I can think of. Replaced brake shoes and pads earlier this year.Passed smog every time. Up for sale is my 1990 2x4 long bed Jeep Comanche. This was a project of mine to restore but do to health I cannot resume the process myself. To be sure, this truck runs and drives fine as is. The 5 speed with the 4.0 is a blast to drive!! Since my purchase a few years back I have upgraded or replaced many parts which are highlighted below. My intentions were not to do a ground up factory restoration, just an upgrade. I started with the interior which is about 90% finished. This includes what quite possibly could be the finest custom Jeep bench seat ever. It's a one of a kind full leather matching grey with red stitching and custom red carbon fiber accents with an embroidered JEEP logo in the center. I get nothing but "WOW" from everyone who sees it. The interior also sports new molded carpet and custom matching felt headliner and visors and a nice carbon fiber accent dash bezel. The only rust on this Florida truck were 2 small holes in floor pan which I repaired before the new padding and carpet went in. The rest is minor surface rust. This truck is straight and only needs minor body work including replacement drivers door and paint to finish the exterior. The A/C worked fine earlier this year but now doesn't respond when switched on. I'm thinking relay or resistor probably. This ole mule is fun to drive and I get a thumbs up all the time.
