I'm listing the car for my customer. I'm the mechanic. The car has been in her family for a long time. She decided to treat herself to a new E-class. This is the last of the true Benzes. It's built like a tank! Safe and reliable. I have maintained the car for about 12 years. During that time, some of the more significant repairs were made at my Mercedes only repair shop: Throttle actuator, A/C evaporator and condenser, timing chain and guides, transmission frictions and seals, repaint complete exterior, re-dye front and rear seats. The car is very clean inside and out. The car runs and drives excellent. The bad: Closing assist 'suction' for doors and trunk not working (needs assist pump) Rear shocks a little noisier over some bumps with the 18" wheels, we have the original 16" 8-hole wheels with good tires if preferred. The seat leather is a little stiff from the re-dye. We are motivated to find a new home for the car, but please be reasonable with expectations, questions and offers.

The Mercedes-Benz 500E is a supercar produced in collaboration with Porsche-AG from 1991-1995.The vehicle is based on the W124 chassis (1986-1995 officially) although the 500E is a totally different animal to its cousins. This is a 1993 Mercedes 500e. This was a car that I've wanted since I first road in one in 1992. I always knew I would own one of these cars after that day. I purchased this car 7 years ago in Seattle. It had lived most of its life in Arizona. When the car arrived it was in bad need of paint. I spent $8000.00 having the car painted. It looks great except for on spot where my daughter open up a car door and hit the driver side back door. About 2 years ago noticed the car was leaking oil and I took it to my mechanic. He informed my that the motor would need to be rebuild. Ouch! After much thought I decided to invest the money to rebuild the engine. I figured I could buy another car but I could be in this same situation again. If I rebuilt the engine at least I would know exactly what I had. So my mechanic pulled the motor and $7000.00 later a fresh powerful motor was back in the car. I have all the maintenance receipts for the car over the last 7 years. The front seats and headliner were shot so I had them recovered. This car is not perfect. It has some cracking in the wood grain. It is missing one the controls on the dash. The mirror button on the console is broken. There is a crack in the plastic inside the trunk. However you get a car that has all of the major issues addressed. You don't need to paint it.
