New Page 1 MITSUBISHI 3000GT 100% RUST FREE NON-SMOKER ONE OWNER ONLY 39K ORIGINAL MILES Here is a great find, these 3000GT cars are rapidly gaining value as they are now deemed 'classic' and will qualify for collectors insurance and/or registration in most states. This gorgeous Passion Red coupe is in just amazing original condition. This car does not appear to have ever been wrecked or repaired and aside from the tires and battery it is all original with just under 40k original miles. The car has never been modified with any 'performance' parts, intakes, exhaust etc. and has not had any aftermarket stereo systems or alarms, it's original, exactly how you want to find one! The car comes with all original keys and floor mats, spare tire, tools, jack and CD changer cartridge. The car was missing the owners manual but I got a replacement so you will have all of the instructions that the car came with originally. Also, the car has had a single family ownership southern California history and the car has absolutely no corrosion. There are not many examples of these left in this original condition, please take the time to review the full sized photos below including several of the extra clean undercarriage. The body of the car is super straight with no issues with the finish, no fading, no dents and no scratches. Of course, the car is a '93 model so if you were to go over every square inch of it you may find the odd very small blemish but absolutely nothing noticeable, it looks really nice, smooth shiny and glossy. You will notice below that I have photographed the VIN# tag on every panel of this car proving it's absolute originality. Glass is excellent, crystal clear all the way around with no aftermarket window tinting or films. Tires have been replaced so they are new at all four corners and the factory alloy wheels are in great shape, i did notice one had a small dime sized curb check but no issue with the rim or anything, very small blemish. All lights, lenses and trim and fog lamps are in excellent original condition, even the factory power antenna and flip up headlamps are functioning properly. The interior is just as impressive as the outside of the car. There are no tobacco, musty or foul odors, the car smells fresh and dare I say it even has a slight 'new car' smell to it. The seats are excellent as are the dash, door panels, console, carpets, etc. Headliner and visors are excellent also. All gauges, lighting and power functions are operational. I did not bother to try a cassette or CD but the radio turns on and is functional. A/C is nice and cold, cruise control works as do the power mirrors, etc. Mechanically this car is exactly what you would expect from a low mileage Japanese sports car. It starts quickly, runs quietly and performs well. Transmission shifts nicely, balance on the tires is spot on with no shimmy or shaking at freeway speeds and no loose steering or wandering as you would find on a worn out high mileage car, it's tight. The car is really fun to drive as well as be seen in. I have had many people come and ask me if the car has been restored as nobody has seen one like this for many, many years. In all, this is a really nice piece, whether it is overly collectible as of yet is debatable but if you are a fan of the Stealth and 3000GT cars then this is one you will really enjoy. There are a few online that I have found, most have double the miles and beyond and sellers are asking similar of not more than I am for this one so I will consider reasonable offers from real buyers but I think we can all agree that $8450 is more than reasonable compared to what's out there as there really isn't anything comparable besides a super nice 1991 Turbo that will set you back close to 20 grand. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. Great, smooth running car. No mechanical issues, engine/turbos/transmission/AWD/AWS, everything in working order. Vehicle has upgraded fuel pump, injectors and lifters from 1999 VR-4 model to prevent common problem of cylinder 6 becoming starved of fuel. Problem never occurred, but previous owner took all precautions after buying the car. never a problem for me or 2 previous owners. Transfer case was replaced by first owner under a Mitsubishi factory recall. Timing belt/water pump/engine seals were replaced around 30k at a dealership, then again by second owner around 45k by 3SX motorsports... a 3000gt specialist shop in Concord, N.C. along with drive belts and full tune-up (plugs, wires, filters) Oil changed every 2k miles or 2 months for full life of car. Transmission/gear oil/coolant/brake and clutch fluid all replaced when I purchased the car at 60k miles. I understand the buyer of this car has the right to do whatever they wish with it... but I would prefer a buyer who knows these cars, and understands that it was a great car from the factory with no need for crazy upgrades or unattractive body kits etc. Only upgrades that have been made were the ones already mentioned for reliability as well as HKS blow off valve/ aftermarket air filter/ electronic turbo timer with boost gauge/ and in dash dvd player with alpine subwoofer (sub has loose connection that can be fixed easily I imagine, never worried about it)

Pick-up only! I am selling my 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4. I started rebuilding the engine in the fall of 2008 with the intention of adding some performance upgrades and installing larger turbos. While in the middle of the project I decided to move away to go to college with the hope that I would pick the project back up after school. I am now in graduate school and lack the time/money to start working on the car again. The Good: Body/Paint is in really good shape considering that it is over 20 years old. Prior to the engine tear-down, everything worked perfectly. Transmission shifted well, the brakes worked, the A/C worked, and it was in alignment. I purchased 5-Zigen FN01R-C wheels about a month before I took the engine apart so they are in great shape. It also has a flip-up head unit and upgraded speakers. Front mount intercooler, BOV, boost controller, upgraded exhaust, and more. I also hooked up a battery recently and the electronics still work.The Bad: ***This car does not run***. The engine will need a full rebuild and new turbos. Vehicle will need new tires, brakes, fluids, and more to get back in operating condition. Contact me with any specific Q's.

we just picked up this car at auction a couple days ago, this car came from Florida car starts but does not move under its own power we don't know why, we haven't looked at it could be a clutch or could be a output shaft. this car is a good project car everything is there we really don't want to part it cause it has a clear title. the paint has clear coat peeling has minor scratches and dents and chipping in the paint. interior is dirty and front seats have rips in them. has a aftermarket downpipe, air filter and blow off valve if you want come by the shop and check it out and hear it run. car will need to be towed and will need to be arranged by the buyer. car comes with all 4 chrome rims spare tire is on cause one tires wasn't holding air. engine runs good does not knock. would be a good donor engine for a different car if you didn't want to fix this one.
