This car is super rare, it's 1 of only 6 ever produced in the Martinique Yellow Pearl color with the SL Spyder convertible package with retractable Hard top, not a soft top. It's stunning. Has Ivory Leather interior. Only 1,034 Spyder convertibles were offered for sale in 2 year run of 1995 & 96. There were only 19 yellow Spyders ever made...13 in the VR4 trim and only 6 in the SL trim. This SL version is production #2 of the 6 made in 1995.Clean carfax...in fact I have a carfax report on all 6 of these rare cars.This vehicle was purchased along with some other very rare cars from a private collection in Southern California. I had them brought here to Madison, WI. The 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 Twin Turbo was the last model year of this great grand touring sports car. According to one source, only 274 were made to be imported to the U.S. market with a fair number of these meeting a “grisly fate” (not sure what that means but at least 10% are listed as totaled) making this the most desirable and rare of this model with such low production run. The car offered here is chassis number 152 and is the 249th one built. This 3.0L, DOHC, V6 with MPI fuel injection, 24-valve, 320HP twin-turbo, all wheel drive, 6-speed overdrive manual transmission, is all black inside and out. This beautiful car is a ONE OWNER car and has less than 94,000 miles on it and has never been in an accident. I bought this car in 1999 and it has been in my possession since purchase. This is a stock car with no modifications except I added a driver’s side seat heater (winters gets cold in Wisconsin). The car is in excellent mechanical condition. For all the details pertaining to this particular car, see the picture of the original car sticker. Original price sticker, car manual, 10-CD changer, retracting rear window sun shade / compartment hider, floor mats, cup holder tray in arm rest, ash tray, etc., all still present. Power sun roof, power antenna, power side mirrors, power windows, etc., all work great. This car runs like a dream. All oil changes and maintenance done per schedule including the timing belt change at 60,000 miles. The leather interior seats are in great shape with no rips or tears except for one very small hole in a rear seat. Also, due to stupidity on my part (long story and irrelevant anyway…), there two (new) different styles of wheels on the car. Both very nice, just not matching. Tires are like new. The fine print. There are two current issues with this car. First is the left front anti-lock brake sensor has failed. The brakes work great but this means that if you slam on the brakes they will lock up like cars of old. Replace the sensor and all is good. The other issue is that the power steering motor/pump is not operating. The car is perfectly drivable but there is currently no power steering requiring some arm strength at slow speed. Due to these relatively minor deficiencies, I am pricing this rare and desirable car for a quick sale to the lucky person who knows about these things and acts quickly. Will you be that lucky person? So why am I selling it? I’m 63 years old, own five cars and a motorcycle and it’s time to start downsizing a bit. Besides, I now have arthritis in the hips and it’s hard for me to get in and out of it. I love this car and it’s been my baby for 16 years. But now it’s time for someone else to love it. Title is, of course, clear. This is a cash transaction or certified bank funds ONLY with delivery to be done in a well-lit public place of my choosing if being picked up. Rebuilt trans, new clutch "SPEC" (Stage 1) PN- SM751, resurfaced flywheel, new TO brg, short throw shifter w/bearings, new motor mounts from 3SX OEM type, front, rear and side trans mount. New OEM struts & mounts front & rear with green TEIN lowering springs, new slotted and drilled brake rotors and pads, new front "hub" wheel bearing OEM, new inner & outer tie rods ends. GReddy boost controller mounted on steering column, aftermarket stereo w/remote. I do have the stock intercoolers for the car, 2 sets of them with all the parts to install. Cars runs great, no leaks, large aftermarket aluminum radiator, does not over heat, AC needs recharging, 120K mile service has been done, oil pressure good, no lifter tick. Driver seat has wear normal for this car, interior is great otherwise. I was told the motor was rebuilt, I could see new head gaskets on engine when I replaced the motor mounts & clutch, so tend to believe it. Car came with poly mounts on motor, very harsh feel, replace them with OEM type mounts. The front nose piece is 1999 3000GT I believe, has the '97 headlight with HID units. Smoked front turn signals, white paint is very good, body is very straight, original alloy wheels have corrosion, I have dismounted the tires and cleaned the wheels and sealed the bead, no air leaks. Tires have good thread. Check out photo's, ask questions, title in my name, car sold "as is" no warranty. Nice looking car, great power, handles great. Completely stock all OEM!!! 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 coupe, Twin Turbo, AWD, AWS, 4 wheel disc brakes, 6 speed manual transmission, PS, PDB, AC, Cruise control, PW, PDL, factory alarm with 2 remotes. Cars runs and drives like new, starts right up, extremely quiet, has the "Active Exhaust" option, "Tour" mode is very quiet, "Sport" mode is louder. Active Aero front & rear, works as it should, everything is there. Original Red exterior paint, Black interior, leather power seats, sun roof. I believe the VR4's are all optioned the same, not sure. Please check out the photo's. I purchased the car from the 2nd owners who bought it in 1995, elderly couple mid 60's. I have all the maintenance/repair records they provided. 60K service has been done. Car is completely stock and in great condition but needed some repairs, I replaced the struts front & rear with OEM Mitsubishi ECS (electronic control suspension) struts and upper strut mounts. Replaced both front wheel "hub" bearings OEM as they were making noise. Brakes are good F&R, no leaks under the car. Car has been aligned F&R. This is my 3rd VR4 and is by far the nicest one I have ever driven, now I know what the car must have felt like when new. I would love to keep it and I just might, problem is red is not my favorite color. I have a Black '95 VR4 and a White '97 VR4, modified cars with high mileage. Red exterior looks great, has some minor door dings/scratches what you might expect from older couple using the car and not parking it a good distance from other cars. Black interior is great but shows some use, drivers seat has slight wear, original floor mats show wear. Overall the car is in great condition for it's age and mileage, no modifications, all stock and never in a accident. The title is in MY name, the registration is current, mileage will vary as I do drive the car, sold "AS IS" no warranty or guarantee, I may end the listing at any time as the car is for sale locally. 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT, red / grey, five speed manual, newer aftermarket wheel package, moon roof, etc. This car runs looks and drives great! Cosmetically the car shows very well. The paint is glossy and looks excellent! They’re some touchup spots here and there on the body but nothing major. It’s free from rust and dents, just a few small dings and the wing is faded from the sun. Also it’s missing one exhaust tip. The interior is in nice shape as well. Two minor flaws on the interior worth noting, one on drivers seat one on rear seat (see pics). I personally drove the car and it runs and drives nice. It handles excellent and the motor is very responsive! The clutch, suspension and brakes feel great! Overall this is an excellent car that can be enjoyed daily. One of the nicest sports cars for the money you can buy! It’s being sold with a bill of sale only, in NH cars older than 15 years don’t require a title. If your state requires a title call and I’ll see about acquiring one. You’re more than welcome to come see and drive this car in person or have your mechanic come inspect the vehicle.
