Hi Everyone and WELCOME to my auction. For your consideration, I have my personally owned, VERY CLEAN, 2001 TOYOTA CELICA GTS. She's FULLY LOADED with a SUPER SMOOTH RUNNING (with NO check engine lights on) 4 cylinder engine, PERFECTLY SHIFTING automatic transmission (w/ M-Mode shifting option), SUPER CLEAN black leather interior, COLD AC, CD player and cassette, alloy rims, VIN etched glass, and power moon roof. The car has always been ADULT OWNED AND BABIED, and was originally owned by an elderly Georgian couple (where it was mostly highway driven until 2011). The car has a clean title in my name (SEE FREE CARFAX REPORT BELOW, which rates it as $1710 ABOVE retail). It's finished in RARE triple black, and presents very well for its age. The interior is super clean and all options work 100%. Recent maintenance/repairs include: newer brakes and rotors all around, new fuel pump, new rear hatch struts, full detail and wax, and fresh oil change. The car was also recently inspected, and passed easily. Though the car presents extremely well for a vehicle of its age, I'd like to point out the scant shortcomings in the interest of full disclosure. There are a few very minor paint chips/scuffs/scratches here and there and a tiny stone chip on the very upper part of the windshield (out of the driver's view). The CD player works excellently, but the multiple disk changer cartridge needs replacement if you want to store several disks. The tires are not new, but have plenty of thread remaining. Awesome, loaded 2001 Celica GT-S. Vehicle is in very good condition for its age. It has a few dings and scratches, nothing I would consider major. The service light was on when I bought it and the previous owner said she had it checked out and was told it wouldn't affect the performance of the vehicle. I had it checked out as well and was told it had something to do with a vacuum error code. The car runs great. I flew to CT to purchase the car and drove it back to MI. The transmission was rebuilt in late summer 2013. The tires are not brand new but are in good condition. This car is fun to drive and is great on gas! This listing is for a bright red 2001 Toyota Celica GTS in bright red. It is a 4-speed automatic that has paddle shifters. It has 112k miles on it. It is due for an oil change. Back tires are 3000 miles old, front tires are at about 40%. Black leather interior is in great condition. Has both floor mats. Catalytic converter and spark plugs were replaced at 95k miles. Fuel injector at 95k. Serpentine belt at 100k. Brakes and rotors at 109k. Subtle cosmetic damage on hood, and bumpers. The undercarriage/plastic underneath the car needs to be replaced or bolted back in place (it is currently ziptied). The paint is weathered in several places. I did not smoke in this car, but a previous owner did. The car does not smell like smoke. Car has never been in a flood while in my possession. Spare tire is a donut that is in very good condition. I drove less than 20 miles on the donut. The car comes with two keys, neither of which are valet. I do not have a remote for the locks, and I do not know if it is supposed to have one, as I didn't receive one at the time of purchase. I have only used premium gasoline in the car. I have been on time with oil changes and other maintenance. Power breaks, power steering, power windows, moonroof, hatchback, paddle shifters, alloy wheels, radio face plate compatible with iPods, iPhone, and devices with auxiliary cables. Car is wired for an amp and subwoofers but does not come with them. The car is also equipped with an aftermarket alarm system that was installed by a previous owner. It has since been disconnected, and I have not used it and do not know how to. All in all, the car is structurally sound and reliable. It roars rather than purrs, and it has a slight shake that is typical for Toyotas at its age. I used this car as a daily driver and took very good care of it. The car has had two previous owners before me, located in Florida and Tennessee. I mostly drove the car in TN before bringing it up here for 7 months of use.The car passed Shelby County, TN emissions in 2012 and has not required inspection since because of emissions being discontinued in its county of registration. There is no check engine light on. A $2000 deposit is required via Paypal. You must present a cashier's check for the remaining balance at the time of purchase.
