2003 LINCOLN AVIATOR BASE RWD I am selling a 2003 Lincoln Aviator, Clear Texas Title in hand. I am the second owner of the SUV, I purchased it in August 2006 with 43958 miles on it from West Point Lincoln in Houston TX. In that time I have put roughly 64,577 miles on it (average of 7175 miles per year). I only use full synthetic on oil changes every 3500-4000 miles. I only use Premium Fuel in this car, the manufacture suggest 91+ octane. This is my daily driver so the mileage will change when the vehicle is purchased, should not have more than 100-200 miles added from time of posting. This vehicle is 13 years old; it will have the normal wear and tear, minor stains and minor dings. I am taking as many pictures as possible and including a video as well. As you can see in the pictures I have maintained the vehicles interior (leather conditioner every 6 months, carpet shampoo as needed, all trim cleaned with Mequiars cleaner, Mequiars ultimate interior detailer on trim/molding. I have an unlimited wash club membership with mister car wash and ran the Aviator through weekly (underbody wash, T3 conditioner, wheel polish, tire shine). It is blacked out when the car is not on but when you turn the key on the dash instruments light up.Front Seats - Gray leather. Driver seat has the normal wear on the leather. Passenger seat has some wear on the leather.2nd Row Seats – Gray Leather. Seats are in good condition. 2nd row seats flip up for easy access to 3rd row seat.3rd Row Seats – Gray Leather. Seats are in good condition (I can only remember once that someone was in the 3rd row seat). 3rd row seat folds down for more cargo room.Headliner – Tan cloth was replaced 2 years ago along with the A-Pillars in the same cloth.Carpet – Gray, just had shampooed at my local car wash.3rd row seat folds down for more cargo room.Rear AC with Rear Passenger Controls Sound System:I installed a complete sound system in July 2014. I have the blue tooth hooked up and it works great. Unit can play DVDs, CDs, Sync to your phone via Blue Tooth and has a USB port to hook up a flash drive.Radio Remote - Kenwood Kna-RCDv331 Multimedia IR Remote. I bought this remote due to the radio did not come with a remote. Works okay, I use the touch screen a majority of the time in town, when I am on a long drive I will use the remote.Speakers – Kenwood Excelon KFC-X683C 6x8 Inch 2-Way Car Speakers (Installed in front and rear doors, 4 total).Subwoofer – Kenwood KFCXW-1000F eXcelon 10 inch Shallow Subwoofer. Great subwoofer. I have it in a box that when I need extra cargo room I can remove the subwoofer and hook it back up when needed.Amplifier - Kenwood KAC-7005PS Performance Series 5 Channel Power Amplifier. This amp is running the entire system. Stays cool to the touch even when playing the music loud. Exterior:Paint is a Mineral Gray Metallic. It is in fairly good shape, still has a good shine on it. I wash it once a week through a touch less car wash (Mister Car Wash). On the passenger side molding near the gas cap area the clear coat is fading/chipping, other than that just normal dings/road tar/etc…It has a roof rack/luggage rack.HID Headlights, regular fog lights.Turn Signal Indicators on driver/passenger side mirrors.Tow Package17” Factory Chrome Rims Engine/Transmission:Engine: 4.6L V8 (Same engine used in the 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1)MPG: Up to 13 city, 19 highwayWheel size: 17? diameter, 7.5? widthHorsepower: 302 HPTowing capacity: 7,100 to 7,300 lbs5-Speed Automatic, Rear Wheel Drive (5R55E Overdrive) Overview:2 keys and 2 key fobs. I am having the oil, oil filter and air filter changed 1-21-2016 with full synthetic.Seafoam engine treatment added to gas every 4th – 5th fill up. I never let the fuel meter go under a quarter tank.New battery 11-30-2015. Carpets professionally shampooed.Wipe New Headlight Restoration 1-19-2016Wipe New Trim Restoration 1-19-2016New windshield wipers installed this month.Replaced hood lift/strut on passenger side.New rubber floor mats, the old carpet floor mats were not that great.The check engine light will come on but it does not affect the performance of the car. I have taken it in to a Lincoln dealer twice and both times they could not tell me what the exact problem is but they suggested several options, when I asked them if that would definitely fix the engine light from coming on they said they could not be 100% sure….sounded like a money play to me. I ended up taking it to a shop I have been to several times before on a different car I am restoring and they put it their machine, they saw the voltage going to the Throttle Position Sender was dropping slightly below the recommend voltage for a split second and coming back up to where it suppose to be. The mechanic that ran the test said they can change out the Engine Control Module but if there is not a noticeable difference in the daily driving he would not do it if it was his car, so I have not done it. I drove it 850 miles during Christmas with no issues, I averaged around 18.1-18.3 MPG highway going 80-85 MPH with no issues. I had a scanner tool that I could just reset it when needed but I cannot find it now. You can go to any auto parts store to have it scanned and code reset or unplug the battery for 15 minutes (you lose all presets on the radio).When rolling the driver side window up sometimes when it reaches the top it will come back down halfway. When you are a inch away from the top you have to inch it in.Drivers Lock/Unlock sometimes has to be pushed a few times to get the car to lock/unlock.Center AC Vent does not blow as hard as it once did, I think a flab that directs air is stuck. The floor, defrost and side vents work great.Shifter Knob originally was covered in gray leather, it got very dingy/dirty after a while so I removed it and have keep it the way it looks now.
