There is a small bit of corrosion on some of the wheels and one small ding in the drivers door. Other than that, the car is in excellent condition both inside and out. It looks great and runs perfectly. This is a California car, never smoked in, no children or pets. The registration is paid through June 2015, and it has a current smog certificate. Super-straight body, with no dings and no dents. The interior is like new. Equipped with moonroof, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, cruise control, keyless entry and alarm. The tires are almost new, and it just had a brake job. The only known issue is the cruise control, which is currently not working. By the way, if you are looking for a Celica with a moonroof, you should only consider the 2004-2005 models, which are the only ones with a real glass moonroof. From 2000 thru 2003 they came with a cheap plastic one, which always gets cloudy and scratched up, and is impossible to restore. Most of them just end up being painted over in black. This car has a salvage title from a minor rear-end collision. There was no airbag deployment and no frame damage, and the body was repaired to look like new. I am selling my former project car and daily driver. This is a 1992 Toyota Celica convertible and it has about 160,000 miles on it. I am the third owner, and probably the only owner who has bothered to take care of the car. It has a manual transmission, power everything, CD/Tape, and the driver seat has adjustable power lumbar and side-bolster support.I bought it in 2004 and drove it for years before having a second kid and so it's been sitting for most of the last 2 years. I started it every couple of months just to make sure it still ran. This was about the same until a few weeks ago when I tried to start it. It still runs, but the engine makes a knocking noise under heavy acceleration and there's a lot of oil around the seals at the top, so my guess is that it's on its way out. It can still be driven, but neither very quickly nor under heavy loads.I have to reiterate: The engine needs major work or a replacement. This will be a project or parts car, even though it technically still runs. I would not recommend driving it far, but it would be a fun project car. You could probably drive it back to your house if you live about 20 miles away, but I would recommend having a friend follow you in a more reliable car, just in case. That being said, if you plan on replacing the engine, count on about $2000 if you have a shop do it, maybe $500-800 if you do it yourself, and then you've got yourself a running, fun-to-drive, convertible for between $2-3K.The handling is great, the tires still have plenty of tread, the sound system is nice, and the A/C actually blows cold. The convertible top works, but there's a small hole near the top of the clear plastic window where it meets the canvas (one of the pictures shows this). I upgraded the mirrors to the power-folding variety, which means when you push a button, they fold toward the body of the car. It's pretty awesome.The paint has seen better days and the cruise control hasn't worked for years. The car was hit on the driver side before I owned it (1999 according to the carfax) and there is some body damage behind the driver side door because of this (see photos for closeup). The damage doesn't look great, but it also hasn't gotten worse since I've owned it. The interior is fair, but dirty. It would look decent with a good cleaning. It used to be a lot of fun, and probably still could be, but like I said, the motor's going to need work and I don't have the time or resources anymore. I'm asking $800 or best reasonable offer. She's FULLY LOADED with a SUPER SMOOTH RUNNING (with NO check engine lights on) 4 cylinder engine, PERFECTLY SHIFTING automatic transmission (w/ M-Mode shifting option), SUPER CLEAN black leather interior, COLD AC, CD player and cassette, alloy rims, VIN etched glass, and power moon roof. The car has always been ADULT OWNED AND BABIED, and was originally owned by an elderly Georgian couple (where it was mostly highway driven until 2011). The car has a clean title in my name (SEE FREE CARFAX REPORT BELOW, which rates it as $1710 ABOVE retail). It's finished in RARE triple black, and presents very well for its age. The interior is super clean and all options work 100%. Recent maintenance/repairs include: newer brakes and rotors all around, new fuel pump, new rear hatch struts, full detail and wax, and fresh oil change. The car was also recently inspected, and passed easily. Though the car presents extremely well for a vehicle of its age, I'd like to point out the scant shortcomings in the interest of full disclosure. There are a few very minor paint chips/scuffs/scratches here and there and a tiny stone chip on the very upper part of the windshield (out of the driver's view). The CD player works excellently, but the multiple disk changer cartridge needs replacement if you want to store several disks. The tires are not new, but have plenty of thread remaining.
