I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees, 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot, we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened a small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion), and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. Rubber is ok for now, real good tight front end, ball joints, ty rods steering box all, brakes all good Interior is good with all power options working and ice cold air, body is excellent condition Portland does not use sale so vehicles stay real clean and don't rust. For sale is a 1998.5 Dodge 2500 diesel 4-door long bed truck with a 24v 2000 drive train and 5-speed manual. 4x4 works fine. It has a custom 8 inch lift. Works great, handles very well for a lifted vehicle. 75% 35X12.50 firestone destination mt's with new 17in Dcenti wheels. The '00 drive train had 205k miles on it. All the gauges work fine. Engine has rebuilt injector pump. Rebuilt transmission and transfer case. New Southbend ceramic clutch with Southbend hydraulics. Fass air/fuel separation fuel system. New brakes all the way around. Edge CTS monitor with timing box turn knob for programming. 50hp injectors. Mild set-up that is great for towing and lower egts. 4in full exhaust. Paint is equipment grade so it is not the nicest in the world but still looks good. No rust at all. The cab did have rust but that's why it has a 1998.5 cab now and no rust anywhere else on truck. Body does have some dings, most are visible in pics. Nicer locking canopy top comes with the truck. Line-x bed liner. Has the common loppy idle but truck runs and drives solid. Plenty of power. Heater, a/c all works. Interior is in decent shape overall, not perfect. Dash has no cracks in it which is rare. Pwr windows and nice aftermarket keyless entry alarm system. Aftermarket headlights & taillights. Comes with the stock ones as well. It also comes with a nicer entire front seat that is power. Will throw it in with the truck and another set of mirrors too. I have a 1967 Ford 250 Ranger Camper Special Custom cab with a 390 V8 engine for sale. Gorgeous white exterior with green interior. This truck runs great, no leaks, no over heating. This truck does need knew brakes, it pulls left when stopping and does not stop in reverse, had a very unqualified individual fix them for transportation. This truck has only had one owner since purchased brand new in 1967, has 85,xxx Original miles, everything has been documented from oil changes to repairs since the vehicle was brand new. The Owner has included couple dozen registration cards from 1967 to 2006, since then it has been sitting since 2006 under a tree, tags are also from 2006. Have not attempted to get registration. Truck does have a clean title, the original owners daughter is selling it after her mother passed away. The radio is original but not connected, plays Atrac. The glove box interior is not installed but included. Engine is a 390 V8, the air cleaner is not pictured but included, needs to be cleaned. There is a box of wiring and random parts. Included is a entire envelope of documents including the original Temporary registration from purchase in 1967.Truck comes with a Large fitted canopy, there are scratches and a lot of discoloration from age and spots in areas from the tree. Here is a great opportunity investment. These Short Box 4x4's are getting more difficult to find. Exterior: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best, I would rate the trucks exterior a 7. While the truck shows nicely in it's original Light Medium Blue, the paint is fading on the hood, there is a dent and scratch at the top of the passenger side bed, and there is some rust in the rear bed corners. I found replacements at www.lmctruck.com for 29.95 each plus shipping. There is also some rust in the bed floor near the tailgate and bed floor near the cab (see pictures) Floor boards and lower rockers are all in excellent condition. Interior: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best, I would rate the trucks interior a 7. While the interior is extremely clean the seat will need to be recovered, while the seat still holds it's original material it is cracking, coming apart at the pleats and seams. Dash has a couple of cracks as well. All guages work, horn, tilt steering, trailer brakes, and wiper delay. All lights work except drivers front parking light and passenger rear back up light. Will need new sockets for this. Mechanics: On a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best, I would rate the trucks mechanics a 9. This truck runs, drives, and performs out awesome and sounds very healthy. For sale is my 1955 Chevy second series truck. The paint is decent and driver quality (20 footer), the body is extremely straight and rust-free. I can find no body filler, and the truck is from California. It has an export VIN, so I'm guessing it was exported to Mexico, as it's that solid. It was registered in California in the 80's and 90's, and was purchased about 2.5 years ago by a couple in Portland Oregon for their private collection. I bought the truck in January and it still had it's original 235 inline 6 cylinder and toploader 4 speed on the floor (three speed plus a DEEP granny low). I've since installed a brand GM Goodrich 350 crate engine with new Edelbrock intake and 600 cfm carburetor, new Pertronix Flamethrower distributor and coil, new Taylor wires, new high temp coated ram's horn manifolds, etc... It runs great, and should make about 250 horsepower and 300+ lb. ft. of torque. I reused the toploader transmission by finding the correct cast iron bellhousing, and installed a new Pioneer cast steel flywheel. As mentioned above, I can find no body filler, but there is on patch tig welded in the floor (see last picture). They typically rusted through due water accumulating under the rubber mat. I've installed carpet for a little more luxurious feel and a nicer look. The rest of the interior was already done when I bought it, and looks very nice. I removed the heater box, but it did not leak, the fan works great, and all the parts are in a box and will be included with sale. The lights, turn signals, horn, wipers, and gauges all work, but I did disconnect the ammeter and install a voltage gauge under the dash. The oak in the bed could use refinishing, and there are dents and dings inside the bed on the sides, but they're not visible outside. It also has drum brakes and the original suspension, but brakes well and steers just as you'd expect. These are not meant for slalom racing! Well, here's the low down on this super solid looking & running 1996 Ford F-250 We are listing this truck on it's own, but are tossing in a FREE lumber rack I bought it about 3 years ago from a local firefighter, used it around the farm & don't think I put more than 2,000 miles on it He wasn't able to document it, but had just put a 65k mile 1997 5.8L V8 gas motor in it, and when you fire it & listen to it purr, & feel the torque, there is no reason to doubt it's a low miles motor but I CANNOT prove the mileage, but in replacing parts on it I can attest it's a 97 motor. UPDATE 5/14/15: I drove the truck to the dump today & when I got home the front brake caliper seems to have frozen up. I plan to replace both front calipers/rotos/pads early next week, but if a buyer makes offer/purchase before I get the chance to make the simple repair, I'll knock $150 off the top of the price. Now onto the truck for sale here: This RHD Land Rover 110 had one registered owner in the UK before I purchased it. It was made in late 1987, and has all the features of a 1988 Model Year truck. It spent a good deal of its life in Africa, so does not suffer from a lot of the rust problems that your usual UK trucks may have. Has had some repairs however in the past and is now a solid, ready-to-use truck. As you can see it has an external roll cage already installed. Also has big oversize tires and fender flares to accommodate them. Best of all perhaps, this truck has AIR CONDITIONING! Fitted front and rear in the custom (and very nice) headliner, there are many vents for both front and rear passengers. Truck is being transported with its original equipment, however, upon arrival here and customs clearance, I will be bringing it into my shop to install a nice 200tdi turbo-diesel engine into it, which not only greatly improves the performance and economy, but increases value of the vehicle by about 50%. Truck will be able to go freeway speeds here in the USA, tow reasonable trailer loads, and get an average of 25MPG doing it. LT77 5-speed transmission shifts nice with no trouble or funny noises. This Defender 110 also has a steel lockable cubby box, CD player/ stereo, and even a CUP HOLDER! Dash looks otherwise standard with a few extra switches for the air conditioning controls. Frame chassis is very solid, as mentioned before truck spent a good deal of its life in Africa. This vehicle has a clean and clear Oregon title in our name and at our current address with new license plates and the tabs are valid until 6/2016. The truck just got completely new front and rear brakes in July 2014 including new pads and new rotors all the way around, new serpentine belt, oil change, all new wiper blades front and rear, new floor mats, and new license tabs. We just spent about $800 on these items alone so it is ready to go for the new owner. The Michelin tires are still about 75% new and in great condition and cost over $750 when new plus installation and balancing so you do not have to worry about spending a small fortune on new tires. Nothing excites me more than acquiring a classic car or truck that has a rich history, a story from decades past when Kustom cars & trucks ruled the streets. Opportunities like this rarely arise, and when they do, they disappear as quickly as they appeared. Well just imagine how excited we @ Red Hills Rods and Choppers were to find the original 1954 Ford F100 Ralph Ehorn Kustom Pickup, which appeared on the cover of 'Rod & Custom’ magazine not once, but twice (January 1959 & January 1960)! Mr. Ehorn of Red Bluff Ca., created this one of a kind Kustom truck in the late 50’s, with much of the work being done by Ray’s Custom Shop in Chico, California. The body was smoothed & shaved of its trim handles, the hood was louvered, nosed & peaked and the tailgate was paneled smooth. They lowered the truck by using a dropped axle up front and relocating the spring mounts in the rear. A 1955 Bel Air grille was used with ’54 Buick headlight bezels, along with ’50 Buick taillights, which were molded into the rear fenders (frenched), and a recessed antenna (frenched) was mounted on the rear of the cab on the passenger side. Chrome bumpers, chrome running boards and chrome side exhaust matched the chrome reverse rims w/ ’40 Ford hubcaps, wrapped in wide whitewall tires. It was finished in Candy Apple Red and was dubbed ‘The Candy Truck’. Ralph showed his truck all over the West Coast and won many trophies along the way. In 1958, it won 3rd in Class @ The Oakland Roadster Show and in January, 1959, it made its first appearance on the cover of 'Rod & Custom’ magazine, with pin-up Roberta Calame gracing the pages alongside the truck. Later that year, Ralph restyled the truck, this time installing a ’59 Buick Grille Insert and using Quad Headlights from a tilt-cab fire truck. She was painted Pearl White and was again featured on the cover of 'Rod & Custom’ magazine in January, 1960, exactly a year from the date of its first appearance. A pretty amazing story if you ask me! Ralph continued to travel the West Coast that year, earning trophies at every event he entered. In late 1960, Ralph ended up trading his award-winning Kustom Pickup w/ Bob Tindle for a Thunderbird. Mr. Tindle was quite the Hot Rodder at the time and is remembered mainly for his famous show/drag car, ‘The Orange Crate’, as well as the ‘Stompin Savoy’, which was known as one of the fastest Super Stockers of that era. He also had a successful dealership in the Portland, Oregon area and he & his cronies were known as the ‘Tindle Gang’ when they attended the Oakland & Portland Roadster Shows. After that, the truck bounced around between several owners over the course of 30+ years until it eventually fell off the radar completely. After years of research, Steve Lemke of Washington State, found the truck after it had been sitting for many years, and was in desperate need of a restoration. Rather than restoring the truck himself, Steve sold the truck to Pete & Joanne Rosenberg in 2002, who immediately set out to make contact w/ Ralph Ehorn, whom they found rather easily as he is still in Red Bluff, California. Ralph was very excited to find out that his truck was still intact, and sent Pete & Joanna copies of old photographs and magazine articles from back in the day. After that, the Rosenbergs decided they just had to restore this legendary Kustom Pickup. The complete restoration was done to very high standards, cutting no corners along the way. The body is laser straight all of the way around, with excellent fit & finish throughout, and NO rust issues whatsoever. The PPG ‘Pastel Green’ paint is absolutely beautiful, and has to be seen in person to truly appreciate how gorgeous it really is. Of course, the '59 Buick Grille, Quad Headlights and '50 Buick Taillights are all still present in show quality condition, and the chrome bumpers are brand new. All weatherstripping & window seals are new, including the wing windows. The truck bed features beautiful Oak Wood paneling w/ stainless trim. A white vinyl Tonneau Cover was custom made for the truck, which fits tight & snug like a glove. Pop open the door and slide into the beautiful white tuck & roll bench seat interior w/ the dash & upper door frames painted body color, which looks exceptional. The original & fully functional gauge cluster is still present, as well as a full set of Auto Meter Gauges, which were added to monitor all vital signs. Directly in front of you is the Chrome Tilt-Steering Column w/ a beautiful Impala Steering Wheel painted in the two-tone body color. Open the glove box and you will find the Kenwood AM/FM/CD/iPod Compatible Receiver neatly mounted inside for easy access. There are (4) switches on the dash, (3) for the neon bulbs & strobes mounted under the truck and (1) for the power antenna, which all work beautifully. The interior of this truck is absolutely beautiful, extremely comfortable and very functional. Pull open the tilt-hood and you will find the all FOMOCO drivetrain! Powered by a 351W motor w/ an Edelbrock Performer Aluminum Intake Manifold, Holley 600 cfm Carburetor, Electronic Ignition, Cast-Iron Exhaust Manifolds, Chrome Valve Covers, Chrome Alternator and Taylor 8mm Plug Wires. The 351W motor is linked to a C4 Automatic Transmission which feeds power to the Ford 9” Rear Axle w/ 3.25 gears. She starts, runs and performs beautifully and is an absolute blast to drive! The 351W motor has plenty of power & torque and the C4 Automatic Transmission shifts smooth and crisp like a new truck. This Pickup does really well on the freeway, and the Power Steering & Power Front Disc Brakes make driving around town effortless. A Chrysler Volare front clip was installed during the restoration, which really made a difference in regards to handling & driveability. She still sits on Chrome Reverse Rims, like she did over 50 years ago, with new B.F. Goodrich Wide Whitewall Tires (P215/60R15 on the rear & P205/60R15 up front). After the restoration was completed, Pete & Joanne started showing their truck, winning lots of awards along the way, including ‘Best Of Show’ at the 2009 Billetproof event. She now sits on our showroom floor here in St. George, Utah, and is ready to hit the highway or start winning trophies all over again.
