VIN 6F07T320700 MILES ON CAR: It is reading 55010, it probably has another 100,000, but you can't tell by looking or driving. HISTORY: I bought the car from a good car restoring friend that lives near Cincinnati. The car was born with a 6 cylinder engine. It has had a complete conversion to V8. The wheels are now 5 lug, disc brake set up in front. The only way I can tell is by the VIN. I'm seeing more done this way, its done because a good body is hard to find and the conversion is not hard. IS THERE ANY RUNST? I don't see any rust bubbles in the paint, the frame rails look real solid to me, the floor look solid with a couple of small metal patches. HOW IS THE ENGINE? It starts and runs good, past owner said it was a 289, but I have not run casting number. I hear no knock or blue smoke. HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting C4 automatic. HOW IS THE PAINT? Upper end driver quality. I see no dents or dings and no rust bubbles. The shine is very good and the car looks straight when I look down the sides. The color is vintage burgundy.
