Reluctantly selling my time capsule survivor 1986 Chrysler LeBaron GTS 2.2L Turbo EFI baby. I have used this car as an every day driver for the last 2 1/2 years. It is the most dependable, reliable car I have ever owned. She has a clear title and current State of Connecticut registration. Whatever she needs, she gets, no questions asked and only Mopar parts if available. She has been serviced only at my local Dodge dealer by a master mechanic who worked on all of these turbo cars when they were new in the 1980's. This car was originally owned by an elderly woman in New Jersey, who also only serviced the car at her local dealership. She traded it in because it needed a head gasket job, the dealer performed the work at around 80K and it was wholesaled out to a dealer in Pennsylvania who is a fellow Mopar enthusiast. This dealer brought the car to the 2013 Chryslers at Carlisle event where I purchased it from under the survivor car tent. The car is Golden Bronze Pearl with Saddle interior. It has never been in an accident and has always been garaged. The car is loaded and has power everything, including air conditioning, it is a literal time capsule that looks, runs and drives like new. I will drive this car anywhere and have taken it on trips for hundreds of miles. I would drive this car clear across the USA without any worry. Fly in and drive it home. The GTS was the top of the line LeBaron model for 1986 and this one has every available extra cost option, including 15" alloy wheels, pinstripe package and digital dashboard. The exhaust downpipe is still wrapped in the factory foil covering! After buying the car, I had it gone through top to bottom and since I have owned it, I have had the following replaced either due to wear or for preventative maintenance: hoses, belts, cap, wires, plugs, coil, tires, radiator, power steering pump, front & rear brakes, front rotors, front axles, bearings and seals, wiper motor, front struts, rear shocks, K&N air filter, rebuilt transmission, power steering pump, pressure hose, fuel filter and more that I can't think of right now. I have a folder full of thousands of dollars of receipts that goes to the new owner. The interior of the car is near new, the seats are perfect, no rips, tears and no wear! I have the original Chrysler window sticker from when the car was new. There is also zero paint fade, the original paint is in mint condition and shines bright thanks to being garaged it's whole life and regular waxings. The car also has a factory front license plate bracket so no worries registering in a state that requires both front and rear plates like mine. The original window and door rubber are soft and supple and there are zero water leaks, even in the heaviest of rains. This car is a once-in-a-lifetime find and is likely the best surviving example that will ever be found. Whenever someone rides in the backseat, they say it feels like they are sitting on a couch, it's so comfortable. Even the headliner does not sag. The body is in excellent condition and has never been in an accident. The car was rustproofed by Rust Miser when new. Incredibly, there are only two areas that should be fixed, on each side of the rear lower rocker panels where rust is starting to come through, one side had been repaired before. This is the only area of concern on the whole car and will be an easy fix. After 27 years, the paint is going to show the usual superficial parking lot scratches and dings. No matter how careful you are and how far away you park, someone will always park a foot away from you. Other than that, there are two small dings on the hatchback right near the rear wiper where it looks as if something dropped on the hatch. The 2.2L Turbo runs like a terror and is a blast to drive. I only use Mobil 1 and also a Zinc ZDDP oil additive. I put in a newer Chrysler CD Stereo with premium hi power sound speakers. The car just turned 99,000 miles. The car turns heads everywhere I go and it will be sad to see her go. I used to take a train to work and this car only drove a couple miles a day to the train station and back. I don't work there anymore, so would rather put miles on a car that's not collectible. This is the only reason why the car is now for sale. I will gladly answer any questions or send you more photos. Please call me with any questions (203) 257-1839, 9AM -8PM Eastern Time.

To start with, let me first say that I understand that there is a lot of information in my ad. I also understand that this may be boring to the person who is just looking and not buying. However, for the person who is looking to buy and spend their hard earned money, I feel that there is never too much information. As to myself, I am not a dealer, just a (65) year old kid that loves muscle cars. For my work, I recently retired from managing a Correctional Facility here in Maine and had worked for the Maine Department of Corrections for (40) years. I am also a respected member of my community. I mention this only because of the value of this car and so that prospective buyers will have some idea as to who they are dealing with. Also, please check out my eBay feedback which is 100% with (1,130) transactions. To start with, let me first say that I understand that there is a lot of information/photos/video in my ad. I also understand that this may be boring to the person who is just looking and not buying. However, for the person who is looking to buy and spend their hard earned money, I feel that there is never too much information or too many photos and videos. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS ARE WELCOME WITH A DOWN PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL AND THE BALANCE VIA WIRE TRANSFER ONLY. I ALSO HAVE INTERNATIONAL BUYER REFERENCES FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO CHECK. Although it existed a mere 13 years before it morphed officially into the Malibu, Chevrolet’s Chevelle remains a beloved muscle car. Introduced in 1964, the mid-sized car was produced to compete with the Ford Fairlane. The Chevelle SS was the carmaker’s high performance version of the Chevelle. Featuring its own line of performance products and engines, the Chevelle SS boasted the most powerfully rated engine of all the muscle cars. The 1967 Chevelle changed very little from the previous year, but had a new reworked bumper and a new blackout tail panel. Among other changes, it did come with better drivability because of more aggressive tires, front disc brakes, and 14” wheels. A new three-speed automatic joined the ranks of available transmissions. A new model was introduced, the Concours, which was merely a prestige wagon with wood grain sides. The 300 and 300 Deluxe remained relatively unchanged in their bare-bone offerings. The Deluxe did offer different interior color and more expressive trim. Both offered a 2- and 4-door sedan, while the Deluxe had the added option of a 4-door wagon. The Malibu continued its reign as the leading seller of the Chevelle, and would continue to do so throughout the Chevelle’s life, because it boasted the highest number of model options with the 4-door sport sedan, 2-door sport coupe, convertible, 4-door sedan, and 2-seat station wagon. The Concours was just an upgraded form of the Malibu wagon that most visibly distinguished itself with wood grain sides. Inside, the Concours featured a high-end textured vinyl interior for both the seats and the side panels. The SS 396 saw a performance damper. The L78 was not available, and the L34 dropped to 350hp from 360hp. This was a result of a new GM rule governing the horsepower allowances for all cars other than the Corvette. Although GM did not offer the L78, some dealers installed the engine and 612 cars included this high performance engine. For your consideration is this 1967 Chevelle SS clone. Originally a Malibu Sport Coupe with a V8 engine and a bench seat with column shift automatic, this Malibu was going to be a 427 Chevelle SS with bucket seats and a 4-speed super car. However, it was not to be. The clone process was started in Pennsylvania where the car was repainted to yellow with a black vinyl roof. Bucket seats were added and a 4-speed console was retrofitted to handle the 2-speed automatic transmission. A 350ci engine was installed along with all new interior. (Front and rear seat covers, door panels, head liner and carpet). What is good and bad about the paint is; the bad, it was repainted yellow; the good, it was originally Madeira Maroon or better known for its 1970 color name of Black Cherry. Black Cherry has long been one of the most popular colors ever produced for the Chevrolet cars and I am in hopes that the next owner will restore this Chevelle and paint the car back to that incredibly beautiful color of Madeira Maroon. (Black Cherry) The person I purchased the car from purchased it back in 2003 in Carlisle, PA and drove it back to Maine with the good intention of completing the restoration. He purchased the Maine vanity plate “67 427SS” and that is as far as he got. (The pair of Maine vanity plates will go with the car.) The Chevelle set for the next 12 years in his barn (The barn has a wooden floor.) where I looked it over and purchased it. Due to a very musty smell from sitting, I gutted the entire interior, sprayed with Lysol and cleaned everything I could with Clorox wipes. Then I purchased a new carpet and new headliner and reinstalled the interior with the exception of the headliner which will go with the car. I changed the oil, added antifreeze, blead the brake lines, installed a new temperature sending unit and then decided it was time to try and start the car. Prior to starting the car, I drained the gas tank, installed new gas with octane booster and filled the 4BBL carburetor with gas, letting it sit overnight to re-swell the gaskets. The next morning, I pumped the gas and turned the key and the engine fired right up and idled beautifully. I checked the transmission fluid while the car was running and ended up adding a quart. Don’t get me wrong, the car needs lots of attention. I.e. floor boards, wipers not working, transmission slipping, shocks probably need replacing, low beams not working. However, there are good aspects. i.e. 1967 Chevelle 2-door sport coupe V8, Maderia Maroon (Black Cherry) original color paint, excellent frame rails, new interior, horn works, radio works, oil pressure gauge works, speedometer works, high beams work, running lights work, blinkers work, brake lights work, brakes work. Today I added fuel at the gas station and the fuel gauge started working. (I may have said it was not working in my video which I shot prior to getting gas.) Check out the video here: Exterior: The Yellow paint is driver quality. The glass is all good. The chrome and bright work is driver quality. Decent rims and tires. Doors open and close fine with all exterior locks functioning properly. Interior: The interior is in very good condition overall. There are no rips or tears in the seats, door panels or dash. The carpet is new. There is no headliner installed but a new headliner will go with the car. There is still a slight musty smell that I am told will dissipate. Front seat belts only. The wipers and heater blower motor are not working. Undercarriage: The undercarriage has been patched in areas but the important frame rails are in very good condition. The exhaust needs to be replaced. The gas tank is in good condition with no leaks. Emergency brake is not working. Engine: 350 ci that starts and runs good. No dripping or leaking noticed. As a precaution and a lubricant, I added a container of Bards Aluminum radiator additive when adding the antifreeze. Transmission: The transmission is slipping but is still very drivable. Trunk: The trunk is in good condition having been re-spatter painted at some point. There is no spare or jack assembly. Mechanical: The brakes work correctly. The power steering is fine. The suspension needs to be addressed with new shocks. There is a clunking when going into gear initially. ID Photos : Vin. Number: 136177G107576 Vin. Regardless of the condition of my muscle cars, they are all between 40 and 50 years old. My rule is this; "Once the transaction is complete and the car leaves my property by whatever means, if there any issues with the car, it is now the responsibility of the new owner and not me." This may sound a little snooty, but every now and then someone asks me that question. I have tried very hard through description, photos and video to present this 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu honestly and fairly.Having said that, ask any and all questions before bidding and not after the auction ends and you are the winner of this 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu. Terms of Sale: This pre-owned vehicle is being sold "as-is, where is" with absolutely no warranties and/or guarantees either expressed or implied. Winning bidder must contact seller within (48) hours of auction close to confirm purchase by e-mail or by calling 207-354-8126. A $500 non refundable deposit is required within (2) business days of auction close. Down payment may be made by Paypal. Balance due within (5) business days of auction end. Funds must be in the form of cash, a wire transfer, cashiers check or certified bank check. Paypal will not be accepted for the balance. If there is no confirmation, the seller has the right to offer the vehicle to other bidders. Buyer is responsible for all transport costs. This auction and your bid/participation in this auction are binding contracts and will be dutifully and lawfully enforced. Seller also reserves the right to end this auction early without any liability to the seller. I do not have a Maine title for this 1967 Chevelle Malibu as Maine does not issue titles for vehicles that are more than (15) years old. I have sold cars all over the country as well as Canada, England, Switzerland and Australia and have never had a problem. The car will come with a Bill-of-Sale, the Maine registration signed over to the new owner and a copy of the Maine law regarding titles which is on a form issued by the Maine Motor Vehicle Department. Thank you again and good luck bidding.

[email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport Goodguys Muscle Car of The Year Finalist Chevelle SS 396 V8 M20 4 Speed Year: 1966 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Blue Mileage: 60478 Transmission type: 4 Speed Manual Engine: 396 V8 Interior color: Black Vehicle info Like the Bel Air that came before it, the Chevelle was one of those cars Chevrolet aced right out of the gate. Eventually, thanks to GM's continuous improvement and consumer's continuous support, the marque became one of the strongest brands in automotive history. And at one point, with a full list of body styles, options, trim grades, color combinations, and mild to outrageous engines, the challenge became picking a platform which optimized variety and livability. Whoever checked the options sheet for this investment grade 1966 Super Sport probably came as close as you can get to having it all. Its original big block 396 V8 is a go-to heavyweight for both stoplight brawlers and drag strip warriors. Its correct Muncie 4-speed transmission is as spirited as it is reliable. And its super slick Marina Blue on black color combination literally defines the word classic. If you're in the market for a top notch example of one of the best Chevrolets ever produced, this national award winner is just the car you've been looking for! As Chevelle enthusiasts, we all know it can be very hard to prove the authenticity of Chevrolet's most famous muscle car. Fortunately the record keepers won a small victory in 1966 and every one of Chevrolet's coveted SS396 cars received a specially sequenced vehicle identification number. Here's a breakdown of this real deal Super Sport's factory VIN plate:1: Chevrolet38: SS396, 8-cylinder17: 2-door sport coupe6: 1966 model yearZ: Manufactured on GM's Fremont, California assembly line104519: Production sequence number Born at GM's storied, and still somewhat operational, Fremont Assembly, this awesome '66 Chevelle hardtop is the recent beneficiary of a nut and bolt rotisserie restoration that massaged every square inch of its sculpted metal into concours show condition. The car's frame-off transformation began when long-time Chevelle buff Jim Germann completely acid dipped its solid body in preparation for some minor rust repair. Once that body re-emerged and air cured, Jim bolted up a new hood, welded in a new trunk pan and blended a few small patches below its rear window and at the bottom of its right quarter panel. Eventually, with the car patched, prepped and ready to go, the world class technicians at Wooding's Auto Body in Roanoke, Virginia seamed a thick coat of primer with POR 15 rust inhibitor and sprayed a spectacular coat of correct GM code F Marina Blue paint under a glossy clearcoat shell. And today, this top notch Chevelle is as a spectacular muscle car which combines the best aspects of big block Chevrolet performance with the gratuitous fun and old school style that only a classic can provide! When it comes to classic cars a lot of people simply don't understand the true meaning of the word "concours". Make no mistake, in this context the word does indeed still refer to the assembly of a bunch of different elements. However, that traditional meaning is augmented by the added significance of both "original" and "perfect"; as in, getting the car as close to original and perfect as humanly possible. That means the significance of a showpiece like this Chevelle, which has had all its original trim fully restored or replaced with true NOS pieces, cannot be taken lightly. At the front of this bright blue trophy winner you'll find a black, body-width grille which hangs a fresh and prominent "SS396" emblem between small AACA plaques, four halogen headlights and an original, re-chromed bumper. At the top of the car, a pristine Super Sport hood props a chrome center spear and chrome SS396 louvers in front of all new glass that's framed by dent-free stainless trim, cleared by familiar stainless wipers and capped by fresh stainless drip rails. At the sides of the car ribbed rocker guards, fade-free fender trim and obligatory chrome door handles combine with detailed cross-flag emblems, a correct chrome mirror and monochromatic "Super Sport" scripts to detail a tasteful, conservative profile. And at the back of the car, a traditional black valence centers a wide-set "CHEVELLE" script between a second "SS396" emblem, crystal clear tail lights and a second re-chromed bumper. If you wanted a top of the line Chevelle in 1966 you had one option: 396 cubic inches of big block Detroit iron! Rolling out of the factory with stout 10.25 to 1 compression, an impressive 325 horsepower and a massive 410 lb./ft. of torque, this Super Sport's original L35 V8 wears a correct "EH" suffix stamp and a matching 104519 partial VIN in front of a correct 3855961 casting number. At the top of that big engine, oxygen is forced into a fully detailed single snorkel air cleaner which rides on an old school 4-barrel carburetor and a cast iron intake manifold. At the sides of that intake spotless chrome valve covers reflect fresh Packard Radio TVRS wires above correct heads and fully restored exhaust manifolds. At the back of those valve covers, a reproduction points distributor rides between a rebuilt wiper motor, an NOS GM coil and a rebuilt and re-plated power brake booster. At the opposite end of the engine bay a re-cored radiator sends coolant around a shrouded, 4-blade fan via reproduction GM hoses and a full set of tower clamps. And at the side of that radiator, spark is supplied by a reproduction Delco battery which is spliced into to all new wiring and all new harnesses. Naturally the car's satin black engine bay, which consists of powder coated NOS fenders and a powder coated NOS core support, is 100% correct and looks great. Its Chevy Orange block, which has been bored .030 over and fitted with stock valve seats, still features original California smog equipment that adds both value and collectability. And everything from the car's rebuilt, original horns to its powder coated brackets and powder coated pulleys displays the kind of excellent attention to detail that ensures both big points and great performance. Underneath this rock solid A-Body 'better-than-new' is the prevalent theme with freshly over-restored floors, which are covered in a super slick coat of gloss black paint, hanging over a spotless and highly detailed chassis. Behind the car's stout big block a correct Muncie M20 4-speed transmission sends power from an 11 inch clutch and a polished 11 inch bellhousing to a rebuilt 12 bolt Posi-traction rear end that's equipped with easy driving 3.31 gears. Holding that killer drivetrain off the ground is a completely restored factory suspension that's been thoroughly sandblasted and layered in a durable coat of epoxy paint. And correct power steering combines with correct, and fully rebuilt, power drum brakes to provide greatly improved turns and modern car stops. At the center of the floors, the big engine's restored manifolds dump spent gases into an aluminized true dual exhaust system that's complete with factory replacement turbo mufflers. At the corners of the floors, rare 14 inch steel wheels spin 7.75-14 BF Goodrich Silvertown redlines around pristine dog dish hubcaps. And naturally the bottom of this first class Chevelle is as pristine as it is spotless, with everything from the car's new stainless fuel tank to its correct spiral shocks completely detailed for both show and go! Pop this Super Sport's sculpted doors open and you'll find a correct GM code 763 black imitation leather interior which is, for the most part, exactly how it rolled out of the factory. The car's correct front bucket and rear bench seats, which were rebuilt with fresh foam, wrapped in new seat covers and bolted to freshly powder coated brackets, show virtually no wear at all. In front of those seats a warp-free dash hangs rebuilt gauges and a correct Delco AM/FM radio above a rebuilt tachometer and a slick pair of NOS kick panels. Below that dash a great looking console frames a chrome floor shifter and a correct clock in pristine stainless trim. And below that console, like-new carpet perfectly complements a complete set of NOS Fisher lap belts. In front of the driver, an original GM steering wheel and an NOS rearview mirror provide an authentic motoring experience. At the sides of the cockpit, fade-free black door panels center pristine stainless trim and new chrome handles around straight and pliable armrests. And behind the passengers, an optional rear speaker tops a fully restored trunk that includes a correct mat, a full-size spare tire and correct decklid decals. Naturally after Jim Germann finished building it, and Wooding's Auto Body finished slicking it up, this pristine Chevrolet muscle car hit the show circuit and scored many national awards. The car's long list of prestigious accolades includes:AACA Senior Grand National winner at the 2008 Grand National Meet in Melbourne, FloridaAACA Preservation winner at the 2008 Grand National Meet in Melbourne, FloridaAACA Preservation winner at the 2008 Southeastern Division Nationals in Charlotte, North CarolinaAACA Senior Grand National winner at the 2007 Grand National Meet in Kalamazoo, MichiganAACA Preservation winner at the 2006 Southeastern Division Nationals in Asheville, North CarolinaAACA Preservation winner at the 2006 Eastern Division Nationals in Hershey, PennsylvaniaAACA Preservation winner at the 2005 Eastern Division Nationals in Greensburg, PennsylvaniaAACA Preservation winner at the 2005 Southeastern Division Nationals in Jeffersonville, IndianaAACA Preservation winner at the 2005 Southeastern Division Nationals in Roanoke, VirginiaAACA Preservation winner at the 2005 Central Division Nationals in Warren, OhioAACA Preservation winner at the 2004 Southeastern Division Nationals in Asheboro, North CarolinaAACA Preservation winner at the 2004 Grand National Meet in Buffalo, New YorkAACA First Senior winner at the 2003 Eastern Division Nationals in Carlisle, PennsylvaniaAACA First Junior winner at the 2003 Southeastern Division Nationals in Greenville, South Carolina2007 Goodguys Muscle Car of the Year Finalist The sale of this awesome Chevelle includes a reproduction owner's manual, copies of the car's two previous titles and a 2007 Goodguys Gazette in which it's showcased as a Muscle Car of The Year finalist. Hi. Thank you for viewing my sale. My name is Brian, and I am a Master Auto Technician with 25 years experience working with, and for Toyota. I have done 4 other swaps at this level......but this is the ultimate one....... This Lexus V8 Miata (Car #2) (Serial #JM1NA3518M1210691) is my finest period correct swap, and without a doubt the hardest, and coolest one I've ever done. Only 2 of these cars have ever been built in the United States to this high standard, and emissions legality. The first was a British racing green prototype (Car #1), which is in a collection in California now, and mine pictured here for sale, which is car number 2. It took over 2 and a half years, working about 16 hours a week to complete. (I documented/logged 1,663 hours) I hired 2 proffesional welders and an exhaust pro of 15 years to make the exhaust. Which is a work of art in itself. One of the welders I needed was a pro at stick, and one to work with chromoly. Myself, and 2 other guys designed a crossmember idea using the original, and built it around the engine using steel and chromoly tubing. Its also designed for ease of service of the engine, and the use of the Miatas rack and pinion steering. Everything from the complete integration of the wiring (*Using OEM Miata to OEM Lexus plugs for the harness*) and full diagnostics (Check Engine/ Trans Codes), to the design of the catalyst systems, A/C and cooling system all had to be thought out, and carefully done. Even the Lexus fuel pump, as well as the Lexus fuel computer is used. No loud Walboro fuel pump whine behind your seat in this car. The Lexus fuel computer monitors voltage, and adjusts according to engine load and demand. Its mounted in the trunk as well as a sealed Optima Red Top high amp battery. Look of originality, and emission legality were vital with this build for me. I used the OEM Lexus "V8" emblems that match the font on the cylinder head plug covers. One on the dash, and one on the right rear above the 2 1/2 stainless tail pipe. Everything works, looks like a factory built sleeper inside and out. Uses a Borla XRS muffler that is quiet and refined. It drives like a Lexus V8 powered Mazda Miata, which is hard to describe. Its very fast, shifts buttery smooth and will chirp gears in ECT power mode. The engine is a 1992 Lexus SC 400 displacing 4 litres, 32 Valves, 6 bolt mains, all aluminum construction and using a factory high rise crossflow intake. Makes 250 Hp/260 lbs of torque and is 100% stock in this car. It uses the stock Lexus 4 speed automatic with ECT, and Lexus engine computer mounted in the Mazda's same stock computer location. It employs a later 97 Miata (open 4.10 rear.... safer for street use, so it wont spin you in a circle),axle set, and Miata powerplant frame. Driveshaft is an OEM Toyota 4WD Hilux/Miata that is custom made and balanced to 93 MPH by (The Driveshaft Shop in SC) My car uses a California compliant Catalytic Converter for use in Pennsylvania. "All" of the Lexus emission controls operate the Mazda's full factory smog equipment. Its all intact and working....not there for looks. Upgraded front brakes (Metal Masters) and front springs (300lbs)(Street car only). All 4 struts are new, and a precision alignment has been done. Car is fully serviced and needs nothing at this time. It's drivability is so stock and smooth, you could use it everyday. It never overheats or runs hot, and I have personally tested and driven it 10,000 real world miles. I use the A/C when its hot outside, even with the top down. This car is garage kept all year round, and I have showed it many times, including twice as Carlisle Import and Kit nationals. Many different types of car people were blown away everytime time they saw it, at any show. My Miata is an excellent alternative to domestic V8 swaps in these cars, where max power, racing and track use was not the main focus. Car gets 20-23 MPG. 10-1 compression is stock for this V8 from the Lexus factory. I spent $4000 just on the engine restoration and rebuild alone using only Lexus OEM parts. The engine had 92K miles on it when I pulled it from a complete 1992 doner SC400. The car itself is clean and rust free. Paint is shiny. It has small dents on the body that are hard to notice on white, and could be removed by a paintless dent pro. The largest on the driverside door. I am not a body guy, only nuts and bolts. It originally "is" an automatic car. "Original Miata shifter with neutral and shift lock out is working". Top is 2 years old and has never been folded down with the window not being unzipped. The parade boot is brand new and used twice. Tires on the car currently are 195/60/14 H rated with 8/32 tread. The white letter tires shown were to big for the stock rims and I removed them. What you will get if you win this auction/sale......... (1) The car.(2) The original set of daisy wheels. (4)(3) A very rare 1986 Toyota W-58 Turbo 2wd 5 speed truck trans with 88k miles on it I personally tested, and know is excellent. If you would want to convert this car to a stick, it can be done. All the parts can be bought easily for a stick swap if you wanted too. (4) A complete factory stock engine crossmember(5) A spare set of nice 97 Miata axles and 4.10 diff Any questions or photos needed, please ask. If you want my home phone number to talk personaly about the car, I encourage it, and will provide it to you. If you do decide to view the car in person by appointment and want to drive it, you must show me a valid drivers licence, and have "money". No "joy drivers" with this particular car. Serious inquire only. ******Note***** Have your funds in order please. I've had 3 time waisters with "I want it" and spent weeks working out details with them. They did not have their funds in order to actually purchase the car. Paypal, or cash in person is the only form of payment. Notary services available on site of cars location to assist you in the purchase, and title transfer. Clean title on hand. These details can be worked out on the phone if you are from out of state, and want to ship the car to your location. Back on September 8 2005, New Jersey DOT messed up the mileage during testing. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1968 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350 MCA 3X Gold Shelby GT350 Convertible 302 V8 4 Speed Year: 1968 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Blue Mileage: 23509 Transmission type: 4 Speed Manual Engine: 302 V8 Interior color: Black Vehicle info From boulevard cruising to road course bruising, it's hard to find a better all-around performer than the Ford Mustang. And now that One Ford has firmly established the model as a global tour de force, the market for exclusive, investment grade ponies is only going to get more competitive. A claimed 3-time MCA Concours Gold winner, and believed to have been driven only 23,509 miles, this magazine-featured Shelby certainly raises the bar. Presently, the car rolls as a fully-sorted head turner that packs a superb 302/4-speed drivetrain in an original interior and correct Acapulco Blue paint. And, if you're in the market for an awesome blue chip collectible that's the perfect fit for show fields and well-shaped financials, it's the pedigreed nobility you've been waiting for! According to this stellar drop-top's Deluxe Marti Auto Works Report, it was assembled on March 7th, 1968 in Metuchen, New Jersey with the following door data and optional equipment: DOOR PLATE: Serial Number: 8T03JXXXXXX-XXXX8 1968 model yearT Assembled at Ford's Metuchen manufacturing facility03 Shelby ConvertibleJ - 302 cubic inch 4V V8XX,XXXth Mustang scheduled for production at MetuchenX,XXXth Shelby scheduled for production76B Shelby ConvertibleD Ford #3077-A Acapulco Blue paint6A Black Dcor bucket seats13C Scheduled to be built on March 13th, 19688D2780 Home Office Reserve ordering district under order number 27801 3.89 standard axle ratio5 4-speed manual transmission OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:Black, power convertible top that's complete with a glass backliteExtra Cooling PackageVisibility GroupWheel lip moldingsPower steeringPower front disc brakesTilt-Away steering columnAM radioInterior Dcor GroupHeavy duty batteryTachometer that's complete with a trip odometer Assembled six days ahead of schedule, this striking GT350 was shipped to Schmidt Ford Sales in Baltimore, Maryland and, thanks to its awesome combination of killer power and So Cal style, helped keep the "America" in the home of America's National Anthem. After three decades of excellent maintenance and minimal driving, Conover Racing & Restoration of Hanover, Pennsylvania orchestrated a highly detailed, frame-off rebuild that reworked all the car's panels into super smooth surfaces. Once those surfaces were fully prepped, displaying a precise level of fit and finish, correct Acapulco Blue base was buried in a thick clearcoat shell. And once that clear was sanded and buffed, correct "G.T.350" side stripes were laid over a fantastic, mirror-like shine. The result is one top notch Shelby showpiece that, until recently, anchored a serious muscle car collection and, presently, could hedge any major investment portfolio. Shelby's GT line threw fuel on the muscle car fire by not only adding power, but also introducing some of the coolest and most aggressive Mustang design cues ever created. At the leading edge of this slick pony, a pristine chrome bumper dissects a correct Shelby grille which hangs familiar Lucas driving lamps between bright halogen headlights and bullet-style parking lamps. At the top of that grille, a broad "SHELBY" script leads the eye past satin lanyards to a lightweight fiberglass hood that's founded in clean glass and straight stainless trim. At the sides of that glass, correct quarter scoops and a small chrome mirror combine with fresh Cobra emblems and correct Shelby fender caps to lend the car's profile an aggressive, yet finished appearance. And at the back of that profile, a familiar Shelby decklid hangs a second "SHELBY" script over correct tail lamps, a handsome Cobra fuel filler, a second chrome bumper and highly detailed reverse lights. For 1968, Ford authorized a special, high performance version of its venerable 302 for specific use by Shelby in their newly christened Cobra GT350. Lift this Mustang's lightweight hood and you'll find an authentic J-code V8 that includes a hotter cam, heavy-duty connecting rods and a nodular iron crank. Completely rebuilt during the car's extensive restoration, that once-and-done mill twists a stout 315 horsepower into 333 lb./ft. of impressive torque! At the top of the rugged Windsor block, a finned and painted air cleaner jams oxygen into a correct aluminum intake via proven Holley carburetion. At the sides of that intake, high-flow heads hang attractive Cobra valve covers between upsized valves, a FoMoCo breather and low-restriction exhaust manifolds. The engine's fires are lit by a traditional points distributor, which sequences spark through fresh Autolite Radio Resistance plug wires. That fire is kept at bay by a correct Extra Cooling Package, which includes pliable Autolite hoses, reproduction screw clamps and a correct FoMoCo radiator. And the whole process is kicked into motion by a tagged Autolite battery, which jolts current through snazzy Autolite cables. Aesthetically, this Mustang's exceptionally detailed engine bay appears very close to original, featuring an even combination of Ford Blue and Satin Black paint under a series of correct marks and decals. And everything, from the car's fresh brake booster to its factory-installed smog controls, is fully-sorted and ready to roll. Take one look under this awesome Ford and you'll find exceptionally clean, expertly detailed floors that are every bit as solid as the car's straight exterior panels. Behind the legendary V8, a correct Toploader 4-speed spins a rugged Ford 9-inch that's fitted with beefy, 3.89 gears. At the front of that drivetrain, straight control arms hang correct power steering between correct power disc brakes. At the back of that drivetrain, correct leaf springs hang traditional, power-assisted drums at the edges of a fresh stainless fuel tank. At the center of the car, an aluminized, true-dual exhaust system funnels spent gases through an H-shaped crossover, small resonators, a transverse muffler and slick stainless tips. At the edges of the car, power flows through concours-correct, NOS E70-15 Goodyear Speedway 350s, which are wrapped around razor-sharp Shelby 10-spokes. And everything, from this Ford's oxide-primered floors to its correctly marked driveshaft, looks as good as the day it left the factory. Inside the car's impressive cockpit you'll find an original Deluxe interior that's been painstakingly maintained for close to 47 years. The first thing you'll notice is an old school wood-rimmed and chrome-trimmed steering wheel that spins around a tagged Tilt-Away column. Above that steering wheel, a great-looking dash frames a correct 140 MPH speedometer and correct 8,000 RPM tachometer next to a vintage radio and twice autographed glove box. In front of that dash, plush vinyl seats, which still feel cushy and well sprung, present virtually no evidence of sun damage or rot. Beneath those seats, fade-free carpet and bright stainless sills center an original Ford shifter and Cobra-branded console between color-keyed mats and authentic Stewart Warner gauges. Opposite that carpet, an original roll bar complements a correct black top. At the sides of that roll bar, stylish door panels feature correct stainless trim, standard chrome handles and matching wood accents. And behind the passengers, a clean trunk centers an original spare between correct decals and a simple mat. As you might imagine, the sale of this investment grade Ford includes significant documentation. The car's proud new owner will receive vintage Owner's Manuals, vintage marketing materials, restoration receipts, MCA Concours judging sheets, a Certificate of Participation for the Carlisle Ford Nationals and the aforementioned Marti Report. Sporting an exclusive V8, classic good looks and a full roster of desirable options, there's no question this Shelby is both collectable AND enjoyable. It's cooler than pretty much anything on the road, it has excellent pedigree, and it's fully sorted and ready to hit the show. If you're looking for a car that's almost certain to increase in value, grab this clean drop-top and find out what it's like to own a true thoroughbred! Hi, and thank you for visiting my auction/sale. My name is Brian, and i have been a Master Automobile Technician for 22 years. The last 4 of those as a Master Trained Watchmaker. I have been a huge fan of Toyota's all my life even before I could first drive. Back in 1986 my friend down the street, who was 14 years old at the time, called me on the telephone and said, "Hey, you got to ride down to my house and see what my dad just bought." So, i do. As I ride my bike up his parents 450 foot black topped driveway, the second bay garage door opens, and parked inside is a 6 month old Silver, 1985 Toyota Supra Mk2 5 speed with grey cloth. Wow! That is the coolest Toyota I have ever seen. Exotic car like in a sense to a 15 year old who's parents drove 60hp beetles. I knew right then that I was going to own one of those someday. Fast forward to now. I have always built fast cars, and never bought them. My extensive automotive, and watchmaker skill sets have allowed me to be creative in building from scratch, motor swapped cars. For 15 years, i focused mainly on the 82-85 generation Toyota Celica, and Supra's working with the 7mgte, 22RTE and 1JZgte Turbo engines. My philosophy has been that drivabilty and reliability always take presidence over having max, head gasket blowing power. Always using the stock computers limits. That is until one day, my friend stops over at my garage and says he was interested in building a 5.0 Ford V8 powered Mazda Miata. He says that a kit can be bought to do it. My reply was that if I was going to put a V8 in Miata, it would be one from a Toyota. He says that "nobody makes a kit for that swap". My reply is... "We will make one"__________________________________________________________________________________________________ This White Lexus V8 Miata (Car #2) (Serial #JM1NA3518M1210691) is my finest period correct swap, and without a doubt, the hardest and most complex I have ever done. (I documented/logged 1,663 hours) @ $50 hr (my shop rate) = (Alot of $ ) I hired 2 proffesional welders and an exhaust pro of 15 years to make the exhaust. I'm a very type A person, so details such as quality, look of originality, and emission legality were vital with this build for me. Even down to the use of the OEM Lexus "V8" emblems that match the font on the cylinder head plug covers. The Lexus SC400 curbed at 3800 lbs using 3.30 gears. The Mazda after the swap with the Lexus V8....2600 lbs with a full tank and 4.10's......no cheating. Car gets 20-23 MPG and only runs on premium gas. 10-1 compression is stock for this V8 from the Lexus factory. I spent $4000 just on the engine restoration and rebuild alone using only Lexus OEM parts. The engine had 92K miles on it when I pulled it from a complete 1992 doner SC400. If you would want to take this off the street and race it, the bar wont save your life. Street use looks, not race. Why the sale? I'm getting ready to retire from the automobile repair industry. I want to become self employed as full time watchmaker to service, restore and repair Rolex and other high grade chronograph watches. What you will get if you win this auction/sale......... (1) The car.(2) The original set of daisy wheels. (4)(3) A very rare 1986 Toyota W-58 Turbo 2wd 5 speed truck trans with 88k miles on it I personally tested, and know is excellent. During the disarray of the 80s malaise scene, there was hardcore gearheads. And even now, with increasing cost of ownership becoming the norm, there are still diehard gearheads. No matter where the future leads, there will ALWAYS be lifestyle enthusiasts who build a culture around the rush of turning transportation into art; and unless you're one of us, it's something you'll never understand. So, what happens when a bona fide automotive power couple executes a 45 week build with virtually no limits? You get a mind numbing head turner like this 1955 Chevrolet 3100! The product of an uncompromising vision and many talented builders, this stunning Chevy wraps a 375 horsepower small block and 5-speed Tremec transmission in a custom suspension and one-of-a-kind appearance. And, if you're a fellow enthusiast who's looking to satisfy an unrelenting need to win trophies and make a big statement, it's the magazine featured pickup of your dreams! Flo and Gary Garman had built cars before. Their first project, a '55 Chevy sedan entitled 'Fun', took 35 weeks from start to finish. Then, as if that wasn't impressive enough, 'Juicy', a second '55 Chevy sedan went from concept to show queen in a mere 25 weeks. Now, when I say "built", I don't mean called shops and scheduled work. This dynamic duo hauled the cars to their 2.5-bay garage, rolled up their sleeves and made the magic happen. The third time around, Gary wanted to build a '55 Chevy truck. With an easy approval from Flo, he hit Craigslist and promptly found a 10 year long project that had stalled with a disinterested owner and boxes of parts. The only stipulations on this newfound cruiser were: 1) Gary wanted a red interior and 2) Flo wanted a green exterior. Adopting a color combo that was obviously ripe for a theme, the couple ruled out Christmas, nixed stoplights and settled on what seemed like the next logical choice: watermelons. And, with the stage set, they shopped salvage yards, perused the Carlisle flea market and started the stopwatch on their latest "Home Grown" creation. Work began with Flo part-sourcing while Gary, with the help of expert body technician Butch Grossman, patched and welded the truck's exterior panels. The cab was shipped to family friend Chess Sprenkle of Chess Sprenkle Body & Paint in York Haven, Pennsylvania. And, upon its return, carefully ground welds were sealed in custom PPG green that's based on a cool combination of Home Depot and Martha Stewart paint swatches. Remarkably smooth and ready for assembly, random parts migrated out of Gary's homemade paint booth after Flo's usual ritual of wet-sanding. 'Ripe watermelon wear marks' and custom door logos came courtesy of family friend Dane Geesey of DGeez Signs & Graphics in Yoe, Pennsylvania. And, in late 2011, the truck rolled into the Maryland East Coast Indoor Nationals to claim the first of its many awards. Today, this stunning Half Ton is a unique combination of time, talent and exceptional attention to detail. And with its killer paint, stalwart small block and stylish leather interior, it's the kind of top notch custom that's guaranteed to make you weak in the knees! As expected, this awesome Chevy's first rate detailing highlights both its solid form and stunning paint. At the front of the truck, a polished egg crate grille rides between chrome-trimmed headlights, bullet-style parking lamps and a bright chrome bumper. Above that grille, a Bel Air-inspired hood hangs a prominent Chevrolet crest in front of stainless-trimmed glass, appearance-specific wipers and a modified Truck Shop visor. At the sides of that hood, body-matched emblems and a short antenna combine with aftermarket mirrors, chrome door handles and a locking, bowtie-branded gas cap to detail a clean 'flow though' profile. Opposite those emblems, a spectacular Oak bed is held down by spotless stainless skid strips. And at the back of that bed, an embossed tailgate loops sleeved chains over a polished tag bracket, LED tail lights and a second chrome bumper. Hoist this custom's rolled hood and you'll find a 355 cubic inch Chevrolet V8 that, thanks to the pros at American Speed, creates a stout 375 horsepower. At the top of the blueprinted mill, a watermelon themed air cleaner, custom-fabricated from two Freon bottles, forces wind into a coated Street Avenger carburetor that's juiced by a coated Edelbrock fuel pump and polished stainless fluid lines. At the base of that Holley, a green Edelbrock intake hangs a green distributor between Chevrolet-branded valve covers and polished wire looms. Below those looms, green plug wires snake around coated Doug's headers. And in front of those headers, attractive Tru Trac pulleys spin a modern power steering pump between a polished alternator, a polished AC compressor, a Cooling Components puller fan and a watermelon-detailed Griffin radiator. Aesthetically, both the bright green small block and its assortment of hand-picked accessories look right at home seated low in their smoothed and body-matched frame. And details like bowtie-branded caps, a high-torque mini starter and Goodyear Gatorback belts ensure this truck runs every bit as good as it looks. Shimmy under this Chevy and you'll find a super clean undercarriage that's been prepped, primped and polished to match the truck's slick engine bay and stunning exterior. The dressed 355's power flows from a familiar Tremec TKO600 5-speed to a narrowed Bronco rear end that's fitted with 3.50 gears and a posi-traction differential. That proven axle pushes the truck on green Chassis Engineering leafs, which are attached to equally green shocks. Tracking is provided by a Fatman independent front suspension, which is complete with polished control arms, 2-inch drop spindles and Fatman power rack and pinion steering. Quick stops are a cinch thanks to power 4-wheel disc brakes. And that chassis hangs from a body-matched frame that's been sandblasted, boxed and filled. At the center of that frame, large-diameter, true-dual exhaust routes ceramic coated pipes through an X-shaped crossover, throaty Flowmaster mufflers and polished stainless tips. At the corners of the floor, 15-inch Wheel Smith Smoothies throw torque through 205/70 front and 255/60 rear Diamond Back Classic whitewalls. And everything, from the truck's modern brake booster to its braided brake lines, is well-planned, exceptionally executed and ready to roll! But the show doesn't stop there. Not by a long shot! When you pop this pickup's doors, you'll find a fully insulated cockpit that features glowing leather surfaces. Top dead center, a chrome-detailed dash hangs Classic Instruments gauges between a Custom Autosound head unit, Vintage Air climate control and a small Guide traffic light viewer. In front of that dash, a sculpted seat, which was cribbed from a 1995 GMC Safari, centers chrome crests between small panels, stainless handles and textured, Chevrolet-branded steps. Below that seat, fresh California Carpet balances color-keyed and chrome detailed floor mats between custom kick panels, big Pioneer speakers and a watermelon-topped shifter. Opposite that carpet, a basket weave headliner perfectly complements modern shoulder belts and cool, basket weave sun visors. And in front of the driver, a painted Ididit steering column spins a small-diameter wheel around an airbrushed center piece and high quality Haywire wiring. [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport National Award Winning Chevelle SS 396 V8 M20 4 Speed Year: 1966 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Blue Mileage: 60478 Transmission type: 4 Speed Manual Engine: 396 V8 Interior color: Black Vehicle info Like the Bel Air that came before it, the Chevelle was one of those cars Chevrolet aced right out of the gate.
