By 1954 General Motors started to use their all C-body platform on “Roadmaster” and “Super” models under the Buick and Cadillac brand. These were big luxury cars that were intended to cruise America’s Eisenhower Interstate System once it was completed. This particular car is an excellent example of a near factory condition Buick 70 Roadmaster Riviera. Boasting a painstaking and highly detailed frame-on restoration; this dry climate West Coast car was in extremely solid well preserved original condition prior to restoration. Finished in captivating Willow Green over a Carlsbad Black interior, the exterior of the car is remarkably straight with only very minor imperfections only visible on very close inspection. Stainless and chrome are also excellent showing no major signs of pitting or age. The weather stripping and rubber are in great shape with no cracking or weathering. Outfitted with almost every available option offered, this Roadmaster was the pinnacle premium luxury coupe built by Buick in 1955. Taking a step inside, the interior is as it was when new with every refurbished item done to factory specs. Both bench seats have been recovered in the two tone green vinyl and green cloth inserts; which look great and are in fantastic condition as well. The overall presentation of the interior is extremely inviting and around the shop, we have nicknamed the interior as “Emerald City”.   All gauges are original and functional, including the “Redline” speedometer and clock. All power options, such as power windows and power seats, are in good working order, with the exception of the vacuum wipers and horn. Factory air conditioning still works and has very unique, and functioning, rear exposed vents. Under the hood, Buick’s 322 CI Nailhead V8 remains original to the car and has the correct Airpower 4-barrel carburetor and Dynaflow transmission adjoined. Turn the key and push down on the starter and the car starts with no hesitation. An interesting feature of the Dynaflow transmission allowed pitch of the stator blades to change under hard throttle to increase acceleration. Power steering and power drum brakes are in great operating condition and make this large Buick an pleasure to drive. This German military vehicle would make a great addition to a collection or can be used for farms, ranches, tours or some off-road fun! Unimog is a range of multipurpose auto four-wheel drive medium trucks produced by Mercedes-Benz. In 1955, the first Unimog 404 S series was produced. The primary customer of the 404 S was the Federal West German army, which was re-arming in the face of the Cold War. The 404 was intended to be a mobile cross-country truck, instead of an agricultural implement. The 404 S is the most popularly produced variant. Mercedes-Benz produced more than 64,000 between 1955 and 1980. One of the oldest 404s known to exist is the 1955 serial number 4, located in Orange County, Calif. This troop transporter has found its way into our showroom and is looking for some off-road adventures. After climbing into the cab, you will see the gauges are original, and the seats are black vinyl with some wear from usage but appear original. There is a C/B radio currently installed. Originally purchased new in 2003, this Ford Excursion XLT was delivered then sent to be converted into a limousine. It will comfortably seat 14 to 18 people still having “barn” type doors at the rear and with plenty of extra storage if need! Finished in elegant Silver Birch Metallic, the exterior body panels are in very good condition with only minor signs of use. Since the conversion, the silver paint shows no visible signs of body work where the extra length was mated with the original body. Limousine tint was applied to the passenger’s windows and shows no signs of damage or peeling. Silver padded vinyl upholstery covers the exterior top half of the passenger’s quarters and is in very good condition. All four chrome wheels are in good condition with only minor imperfections, and the tires appear to be in excellent condition with plenty of tread. The original carpet is like new as it was always covered by a second matching carpet mat. When passengers enter the limousine they are treated to very extravagant interior. A full wet-bar with two separate ice holders which have exterior drain holes; included with the wet-bar are crystal like containers and several different glass cups, each item has its own padded storage place. Piano black trim pieces surround the wet bar and other aspects of the passenger’s quarters. Grey vinyl seats, which are in very good condition, seat over 10 passengers in comfort. Full control of the air conditioning, stereo, iPod, and DVD/TV’s are given to the passengers. Looking up on the ceiling passengers will find color changing mood light and most importantly, a fully functional fiber optic lighting arrangement that replicates a starry night. The vehicle driver’s area has been left mostly stock and shows only very minor wear. One major modification is the addition of rear privacy glass with both glass and vinyl separators. Originally purchased as a hardtop coupe the owner then decided to convert the car into a one-off power top convertible. The conversion was done professionally; most likely a Stramann conversion, but we do not have any information to confirm. This 560SEC came fully loaded with 8-way power and heated seats, optional side airbags, ABS, optional automatic climate control, and many more conveniences. Powered by a potent 5.5L 16 valve V-8 engine that makes more than enough torque to impress other motorists; paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission that is extremely smooth. A true Arizona car, which remains completely original very few faults, can be found. This model was Mercedes first official sedan to be under the well-known S Class distinction. This Impala is powered by an L-69 HO small-block with a mild camshaft upgrade. The L-69 Chevrolets “high output” engine with a much higher compression and high performance pistons that were only offered in the Trans Am and Z28 Camaro. It was recently rebuilt using a more aggressive camshaft, as stated by the previous owner. It runs and starts extremely well and can cruise all day without worry of overheating. A frame-on restoration was completed in 2008, in which many parts on the car were upgraded or replaced. Along with putting the rebuilt L-69 a rebuilt Turbo 350 automatic transmission with a shift kit were mated together. To complete the drivetrain package a 2 ½” Flowmaster exhaust system was added and sounds excellent. The previous owner clearly built the car to be driven daily. A new Vintage air conditioning has been added, along with power steering, cruise control, and air shocks replacing the original rear shocks. The original AM/FM radio was replaced with a full Pioneer stereo system that includes all new speakers, amp, and CD player hidden in the glove box. The paint and body panels are in excellent condition with only minor imperfections; the car is very straight and shows extremely well. American Racing Torque Thrust chrome wheels replace the original wheels and have newer radial sport tires mounted on them. To match the paint, the interior has also been redone with very tasteful colors and materials. Both front seats and the rear bench seat are recovered with white vinyl with red cloth inserts and are in excellent condition. All of the original gauges work as they should; placed in the original dashboard cluster, the only additional gauge is an engine temperature gauge mounted close to the original steering wheel and column. Starting with a healthy 525 horsepower 392 cubic inch Hemi V8 from a 1958 Chrysler; the engine has been bored .030? over with a shaved block and heads and has a Comp camshaft with high dome pistons. Custom dual-cone air intakes feed the Edlebrock carburetor with an electronic choke. The carburetor has been fitted with MSD electronic ignition for reliability. The builder clearly intended this truck to be driven frequently, thus he added the MSD ignition and a brand new Northern aluminum oversized radiator to keep the 392 Hemi cool. Mated with the Hemi is a TorqueFlite automatic transmission that handles the added power with ease and shifts seamlessly. To finish the performance aspects of the truck are true-dual Thrush exhaust system exiting in a custom center housing. The Henry Ford Motor Company helped transform the nascent automobile industry by innovating the way cars were built. In the early years of American automobile production, hundreds of companies made small numbers of cars. Prices were high, and the volume of cars produced by each company was small. When the Henry Ford Motor Company began using his moving assembly line, in his Highland Park factory in 1913, the company started to streamline the production process. This in turn allowed Mr. Ford’s automobile company to mass produce Model T’s at an affordable price. In 1900, there were about 8,000 cars in the United States. By 1920, that number had risen to 8 million; all credit being due to Henry Ford’s revolutionary idea of the assembly line. This Model T flat bed pickup boasts a very well kept older restoration which still shows extremely well. As Henry Ford famously said “you can have it in any color, as long as it’s black,” and this Model T abides by his rule. The lacquer paint shows very well with only minor flaws on the fenders and wheels. The cab and flat-bed have been refinished with oak and looks amazing, while the fenders remain true in original steel. The seat has been reupholstered in black vinyl and fits extremely well into the wooden cab. The wood floor is in great condition with no rot or cracking. The user inputs on both the steering wheel and three pedals work and are original. A newer battery is hidden underneath the cab and provides power for the working amp gauge and headlights. Under the hood, the strong running Model T 4 cylinder starts up with a push of the updated electric starter and still retains the original D&B carburetor and generator. The transmission has two forward gears and a reverse gear that engage just as they should. The underside is solid with no rot to be found and the refinished wooden flatbed with wooden side rails are in ideal condition too. They saw extensive use during the Korean War and stateside. They are still widely recognized as one of the most capable, hardcore, go-anywhere off road vehicles ever produced! This beast looks awesome as she sits and gets a ton of attention looking naturally beautiful. MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present the 1953 Dodge M37 you see pictured. This truck has been used as a small town search-and-rescue vehicle in and around the Onawa, Iowa area since being decommissioned from military use. It may look a little rough around the edges but it never fails to perform and will go just about anywhere you can imagine! When the H1 Hummers can’t make it and it’s time to call in the big boys – this is what you use! As you can tell – this truck has withstood the test of time. The truck retains its solid original body. Over the years, the olive drab paint has “earned” its natural patina. You can still see many of the original military markings through the patina. Patina is defined as “a film of oxide formed on the surface of a metal, especially the green oxidation of bronze or copper.” The canvas olive drab top is removable, newer and in great shape. This old military truck could almost pass as a neat rat rod! It should be mentioned that the floors and truck bed are solid and show no sign of rust through. The interior is just about as original as it gets. The original seat springs and cushions are intact and have just been reupholstered with olive drab canvas which closely matches the roof. The original dashboard with original gauges is still intact. It should be noted that the horn and righthand windshield wiper are currently inoperable. The split windshield does have cracks in it. Under the hood, the M37 is powered by a 230 cubic inch T-246 6 cylinder engine. This particular engine can get the truck to 55mph with a cruising speed of roughly 45mph – that’s saying a lot for a truck that weighs 5,917lbs! The truck starts right up with a 24V ignition and starting systems. It should be noted that this truck does have a VERY rare auxiliary gasoline heater! Mated to the motor is an NP88950 3-speed manual transmission and NP88845 transfer case with twin lever operations. The axles are full floating with 5.83 gears. The truck sits upon a set of massive 14-17.5 tires. The former owner put a lot of money into refreshing the M37 mechanically within the last year.
