Up for sale is a really nice central Texas born 1969 El Camino, This hot rod is truly a cruiser as the previous owner is in the military and drove her from Fort Hood in central Texas to Dallas on a regular basis. The truck is super clean for her age and the bright red paint is only a few years old and still shines like new. We took this cruiser and fixed all the parts that over the years had started to get worn out such as suspension, including complete front end bushing,steering parts,power steering box and rear control arm bushings. The car has front disc brakes which have been checked along with all other brake parts- she stops good! The car drives nice on it's newer white lettered radials mounted on old school Craigers which show a tiny bit of wear but still look pretty amazing for their age. The floors are solid and have one drivers side replacement panel and one patch that the previous owner installed, they look pretty good and have been completely sealed and coated. The bed has no patches or rust and has been Rhino Lined with matching paint color mixed in which not only adds protection but looks great. The body is super nice and straight, the SS style hood adds a bit of muscle to overall cool look of the truck. The car was shot in base coat/clear bright red, it was shot a few years ago but really doesn't' have much mileage except the trips back and forth to Dallas, while he was deployed the car was under a cover. The paint has a few small flaws and tiny chips to be expected from a driver and I would say it's on the upper side of driver quality. The car would hold it's own in any local car show or meetup and where ever it goes people stop and take pictures and ask tons of questions. The engine has been replaced with GM 350 crate engine which uses the center bolt style valve covers and I do believe it produces 290 hp out of the box. The engine has a few upgrades like an Edelbrock carb along with long tube headers and a dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers that sound SWEET! The cars runs smooth and makes plenty of power through the rebuilt TH 350 with mild shift kit and new upgraded driveshaft. All of the belts,coolant & vacuum lines have been replaced along with a newer radiator & fan assembly. She runs super cool and is a reliable fun driver that can be driven anywhere. The interior has had all the old worn out cracked parts fixed,replaced or re-covered and looks awesome. All the important stuff like, wiper,washers,horn and gauges have been fixed, replaced or updated. The exterior trim is in nice shape for it's age and the bumpers have been replaced or re-chromed over the years so they look pretty good as well.
