1997 Lexus SC400, 234,151 miles (will increase slightly as car is still driven some), Everything works...a/c, heat, stereo, CD changer and even the power antenna, There are no burned out bulbs or led's in the dash or climate control display. The timing belt was recently changed, and I recently changed the oil myself. The interior is 7 out of 10, paint is 7 out of 10, Someone made an amateur attempt to roll the fenders and did not heat the paint. It is peeling in the over fender areas. The car has Tanabe coil overs, custom stainless steel "true" dual exhaust with x-pipe (sounds like the V-8 that it is but not raspy at all). New oxygen sensors and high-flow cats, The car has no check engine light on or trouble code issues. The transmission shifts great, It has a full interior led bulb conversion, h.i.d low beams and yellow h.i.d. fog lamps. Front brakes are from a later model LS400 (a very common upgrade).I bought this car for fun but to also limit myself in the "go-fast" department. I have a compulsion to modify my vehicles for performance. That is why I specifically wanted an SC400. This car was purchased from a good friend who builds very competitive drift cars. He was going to "cut it up" for competition. This was his third SC and he knew it was too clean to go sideways in. I like to think I saved it. Anyway, it is an old Lexus and does what it is supposed to do well. It is by no means a fast car by today's standards, I simply wanted to drive and enjoy it. It is reliable and has been a great daily driver. It has an awesome stance and cruise height. It gets a lot of looks and is def a lot of fun. My wife just recently drove this car from Ft.Worth, Texas to Jacksonville, Florida with no hiccups. As a matter of fact if it does not sell, I will probably keep it long term. The 90's imports are slowly starting to appreciate. Finally, to be clear, if you are unfamiliar with driving an extremely low vehicle, you have been warned, It is a different experience, That being said, the car has not been beaten up underneath. I have owned several lowered vehicles and understand the perils of there operation. If, however that is not your thing, just know that the suspension IS height adjustable with a few turns of a spanner wrench. My choice for rolling stock was old school Petrol (TSW) wheels in a staggered 19" set-up with Nankang tires. Front tires are 235/35 and rears are 275/30. Tread depth is between 9 and 10/32'nds. The exterior is in very good shape overall, but this is not a new car, and it is not a show car, so its not perfect. There are a few minor dings and small nicks, but nothing significant. The interior is clean, and in very good shape, obviously a reflection of the low mileage on the car. The leather seats have no holes or tears, and the carpets, dash, and door panels are all nice. Both front seats have power controls with lumbar. The driver's seat has memory. The rear seat is excellent. This Lexus has some nice luxury and convenience features: Power windows, locks, and mirrors; Remote entry; Power tilt & telescoped wheel Cruise control; auto air conditioning; Rear defrost, and much, much more.
