1967 Ford "Mustang" Engine Size 427 V8 Transmission Type 5 Speed Manual Primary Color Silver Interior Color Black Mileage 95412 Stock 2C202241 Video Description 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor VIN 7F02C202241 The original "Eleanor" was a customized 1971 Ford Mustang SportsRoof that was featured in independent filmmaker "Toby" Halicki's 1974 film, cult-favorite "Gone in 60 Seconds." This resulted in the original "Eleanor" being the only Ford Mustang to receive star title credit in a movie. The "Eleanor" name was seen again, this time associated with a 1967 Mustang fastback in the 2000 remake of "Gone in 60 Seconds" and this particular car is an imitation of this massively famous machine. This fine example is reported as having "one of the finest handmade fiberglass 'Eleanor' kits installed" to this 95,000 actual mile platform that has received a rotisserie restoration during the course of its custom build. 1973 Plymouth Road Runner / GTX QUICK REFERENCE Miles: 0 Stock # 3G125423 Engine: 8 Cylinder Body Style: Coupe Transmission: Automatic Interior Color: Black VIN: RM21U3G125423 Exterior Color: Lemon Twist Video Click Below for Video Click Below To Watch Video Click Above To Watch Video Click Above for Video 1973 Plymouth Road Runner/GTX History The Plymouth GTX was introduced as the Belvedere GTX in 1967 by the Plymouth division to be a "gentleman's" muscle car. For 1972 through 1974 the GTX became an option package on the Road Runner. The Plymouth Road Runner was a performance car built by the Plymouth division of the Chrysler Corporation in the United States between 1968 and 1980. In 1968, the first muscle cars were, in the opinion of many, moving away from their roots as relatively cheap, fast cars as they gained options. Although Plymouth already had a performance car in the GTX, designers decided to go back to the drawing board and reincarnate the original muscle car concept. Plymouth wanted a car able to run 14-second times in the quarter mile and sell for less than US$3000. Both goals were met, and the low-cost muscle car hit the street. The success of the Road Runner would far outpace the upscale and lower volume GTX, with which it was often confused. The 1973-74 models received completely new sheet metal and had more conventional squared-up front-end styling and changes to the rear that more closely resembled the four-door models than the 71-72s. The restyling helped sales which were up 40% over the 1972 models. VIN RM21U3G125423 This beautiful Mopar is 1 of 749 produced. It is listed as #2 of 22 produced from the St. Louis, Missouri, plant, and is currently registered by Galen Govier in the Chrysler Registry. Up for sale in the Houston showroom is one heck of a find, the 1949 Hudson Super Six. The Hudson Car Company made Hudson and other brand automobiles in Detroit, Michigan from 1909 to 1954. In 1954, Hudson merged with Nash Corporation to form American Motors (AMC). The Hudson name was continued through the 1957 model year, after which it was discontinued. 1948 and 1949, the company launched their \"step-down\" bodies, which lasted through the 1954 model year. The term step-down referred to Hudson\'s placement of the passenger compartment down inside the perimeter of the frame. The riders stepped down into a floor that was surrounded by the perimeter of the car\'s frame and the result was not only a safer car, and greater passenger comfort as well, but, through a lower center of gravity and ultimately a good-handling car. In time almost all US automakers would embrace it as a means of building bodies. Automotive author Richard Langworth described the step-down models as the greatest autos of the era in articles for Consumer Guide and Collectible Automobile. Most fitted with the Super Six humongous inline 6 cylinder this one took a turn during the restoration. The builder went the with oh so popular 1950 Hudson \"Pacemaker\" inline 6 cylinder. This engine put out a spectacular 262hp and 295lb/ft of tq. To make sure the engine is getting all its fluids, a new fuel pump along with fuel return system and wiring was put in just after the gas tank was professionally cleaned. Now while you can\'t find these with power steering or a/c, and if you can you have a gem like this one. Fitted with electric power steering with an internal dampener so you can adjust it on how much your using it. A/C was provided via Vintage AC and this is a custom kit folks. Interior is familiar to the outside and not just in color but in condition as well. Also done was the switch from 6 to 12 volt, electronic fuel injection along with electronic ignition and distributor with a brand new radiator to keep this completely rebuilt engine with only 1500 miles on it cool. This Hudson for sale boast the original style bench seats that have been recovered in a gorgeous black and man is it comfy inside even the seals around the doors were replaced along with the foam insulation on the roof. Adding to a whole new ride quality is new heavy duty shocks, wheel bearings, front end alignment, transmission and rear end service, a fresh tune up with electric windshield wipers, a new steering gear and linkage, a milled intake manifold, front disc brakes with a new master cylinder and to make things more clear, new halogen headlights. Options on this amazing 1949 Hudson Super Six for sale include: AC, power steering, cloth seats, powder coated steel wheel and hubcaps wrapped in bias ply tires. 1926 Wills Sainte Claire W-6 Roadster for sale in our Detroit showroom. C. Harold Wills began his automotive career with Henry Ford, serving as the company\\\'s chief designer and metallurgist, he pioneered the use of vanadium steel, a key element in the success of the Model T. Wills left Ford in 1919 with a $1.5 million severance package and set out to make his own car. He built his plant on the shores of the St. Claire River in the small town of Marysville Michigan. No expense was spared in the design of his new car. Production was slow and methodical, as Wills would frequently stop the assembly line to implement improvements. Approximately 12,000 cars were built between 1921 %26 1926 and only about 80 survive today. Wills cars rode on either 121 in (3,073 mm) or 127 in (3,226 mm) wheelbases and featured either V8 or inline-6 cylinder overhead cam engines. Unable to sustain volume sufficient to make a profit, Wills closed the factory in 1927. Wills was later involved in the development of the front-wheel drive Ruxton automobile. The factory was later acquired by Chrysler. This beautiful Wills is powered by the original numbers matching overhead cam inline 6 cylinder engine and backed by the 3 speed manual transmission.
