Arguably there's no better one than the Continental four-door convertible. And in the case of this 1965 model, everything represents the icon perfectly - right down to its factory-correct elegant color combination. It was quite a daring feat to put four doors on a convertible, and especially so with those rear-hinged suicide doors. What's amazing is that the designers wrapped this bold idea in a modern design that showed restraint from being too outrageous with sheetmetal. That's how an elegant icon was born. This one is covered its original shade of code Q Huron Blue paint, so it's the subtle and sophisticated choice for a warm summer day with friends. The slab sides give way to chrome accent lines that run the length of the car. The rest of the brightwork is nearly as important to keeping this convertible complete, which makes having those big bumpers, wide horizontal grille, and original slotted hubcaps so essential. While you'll love to have the top down, the newer dark blue convertible top really makes for a nice complementing contrast in color. Open any one of the iconic suicide doors, and you're greeted to an amazing-looking light blue interior. With the top down the interior and exterior colors complement each other so well it almost seems tough to see where the sheetmetal ends and the seatbacks begin. A premium Lincoln means plenty of features. This includes power seats, power windows, power convertible top, and air conditioning that's been converted to R-134a. Even the original AM radio is still in place, but there's a CD changer hidden out of the way so you can still listen to modern tunes without ruining the period-correct appearance. From behind the wheel the full gauge package looks amazing and highly stylized. Keen eyes can even spot the rare auto-dimmer for the headlights in the middle of the dashboard. The sporty clamshell hood gives a great view of the large 430 cubic-inch MEL V8. This is the correct motor for the era, and the big black air cleaner on top lets people know that you are keeping this cool cruiser original. There's plenty of power, and the dual exhaust even lets out a muscular howl when you really want to get moving. But this Lincoln will never betray its easy-going luxurious nature. The three-speed automatic transmission makes for a fantastic highway cruiser. The suspension soaks up bumps without rattling the body, and thanks to that long wheelbase, the ride is effortlessly smooth. Power brakes with discs up front and power steering make this a true go-anywhere luxury driving machine. This Continental is a model of factory correct elegance. We've got the maintenance records to prove this one is turnkey fun that's ready for the first person smart enough to snap it up. Don't miss your chance to own a true time capsule...bid now! The following is a list of options as this Lincoln is currently equipped: -460CI V8 Engine -Automatic Transmission w/ Select-Shift -Power Windows -Power Door Locks -Power Trunk Assist w/Remote Release ($39.79 option) -6 Way Power Front Seats w Reclining Passenger Seat ($238.70 option) -Speed Control ($94.50 option) -Rear Window Defogger ($26.30 option) -Ice Cold Air Conditioning -StereoSonic Tape System w/ AM Radio ($245.30 option) -Power Antenna -Tinted Glass ($52.53 option) -High Torque Axel - 3.00:1 ($6.53 option) The exterior on this car is straight as an arrow and totally solid. The paint on the car is finished in gorgeous original color of Huron Blue. After looking the car over we believe this is an original paint car. It was just carefully cut and buffed to a nice shine and shows very well! There are assorted chips on the front of the car from its road-tripping uses. The front and rear cowls show fading from the sun but have not been repainted. These cars are becoming harder and harder to find in their untouched form and we thought best to leave this one as so. This car is a totally solid, rust free car, and obviously never saw snow or salt. The underside of the rockers, quarters, fenders, and floor boards are solid as a rock, and the wheel wells look so clean, just the way a California car should. All correct trim and emblems are present and in great shape. The chrome does show some pitting from its just under 68k miles of use. The vinyl top is in nice shape with no apparent rips or tears. I like the look and think it gives the car a clean, classy look. All of the glass is original and the windshield is crack-free. The car rides on four new 15" Hankook whitewall tires and still retains its correct hubcaps which gives the car a very nice look. The interior is all original and in very good condition. The original leather seats are extremely soft and supple and look like new. Door panels Dash, and carpet are all original and in perfect condition. The odometer currently shows only 67700mi, which is stated to be Actual miles by the Arizona title. The wood inlayed steering wheel is in excellent condition and is usually a good indicator of use and miles driven. The seats are in excellent condition with almost no ware- only some slight creasing on the driver's bolster. Under the hood is spotless and the proper decals look like new. Power windows, locks, seat, antenna, wipers, and defog work correctly. The climate control is working correctly and the A/C blows ICE COLD. Rear quarter windows as well as power seat switch are currently inoperable. The trunk interior is like new condition and has all of the original cardboard and original carpeting which looks very nice. The space saver spare is also still aboard as well as the jack and all original tools. Mechanically, this Lincoln runs GREAT! This car features the 460ci V8. This car always starts right up and shifts so smooth it is difficult to feel the transition between gears. Under the hood is very clean and all original. The car tracks straight and rides and drives just like a new Lincoln should! The car includes two sets of original keys, spare tire, jacking equipment, and the original manuals. All in all, this is one of the coolest and most original Lincoln's I have ever owned. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owner. These late 60's era vehicles are becoming more and more collectible as the older ones disappear into collections, especially well maintained, low mileage, cars like this. Available for sale is a 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in Oxford White. This car is in very nice condition and drives perfectly. It has had one Canadian owner and is COMPLETELY ORIGINAL with the exception of tires, oil, air filter and a rust inhibitor application. NO RUST! To my knowledge and inspection, this car has not been driven in the snow which is not surprising considering the sport nature of the vehicle. It has never had any modifications. Ever. I recently purchased this beautiful Mach 1 from the original owner and proceeded to formerly import and register the car in the United States. I have a clean and clear Michigan title in my name, ready to be assigned to you, the buyer. Due to the fact that I have already imported the car, a current CarFax will show that I am technically the second owner. This Mach 1 has had one parking lot mishap and one driveway incident were someone backed into the car while attempting to pull out. Both minor mistakes were properly repaired and are documented on the CarFax report that I have provided. The instrument cluster is currently displayed in kilometers/mph. The odometer currently displays "64,094 kilometers" which equates to 39,834 miles. The lifelong odometer readings are well documented on the CarFax as well. The odometer may be easily reprogrammed via Ford dealership, however, vehicles over 10 years old are exempt odometer readings in the state of Michigan, so I elected not to bother. This Mach 1 is of nice quality and needs nothing! Tires, brakes and fluids have been checked/changed. The car is not absolutely perfect and does have trivial scrapes and chips here and there. The driver seat has typical entry/exit chafing on the left bolster and there are minor imperfections in the carpet. Some of the wheels also have light corrosion around the balancing weights. THE OFF WHITE DISCOLORATION THAT IS VISIBLE IN THE UNDER HOOD AND DOOR JAMB PICTURES IS THE RUST INHIBITOR THAT WAS APPLIED WHEN THE CAR WAS NEW. NOT A PAINT FLAW. The paint beneath is perfect which can be seen in the under hood photo where the inhibitor has been removed in some spots. This inhibitor can be removed entirely, however, it can be time consuming and after all is preventing the car from experiencing rust so I elected to leave that decision up to the new owner. The above mentioned items are not meant to degrade the car. They are simply listed in an attempt to disclose honesty. This Mach 1 is perfect for someone who desires to truly enjoy the car and not let it sit in the garage collecting dust. It will be an official classic in just 6 short years only increasing its value! I will work with buyers regarding shipping as I have experience in the matter. I can also pick you up from the airport or train station if you decide to drive the car home. The airport(s) nearest my location are: Flint Bishop and Detroit Metro. The nearest train station is Port Huron Amtrak. Serious potential buyers are encouraged to ask any and all questions before committing to purchase. I maintain a 100% feedback rating and have been an eBay member for nearly 12 years! I try to be as honest as possible. I have personally bought cars for my own collection sight unseen and am aware of the concerns you may have. I am not a dealer. I am merely a motor sport enthusiast who enjoys everything automotive! Please send message including contact information if you would like to be contacted via telephone. Thank you for looking and we will talk soon! -Dan CarFax report: Owner 1 Purchased: 2004 Type: Personal Where: Ontario Est. miles/year: 3,129/yr Est. length owned: 1/29/04 - present (12 yrs. 9 mo.) [email protected] 5527 Lakeview Road, Charlotte, NC, 28269, US 1966 Lincoln Continental Documented 37,580 Actual Mile Continental 462 V8 C6 Speed Survivor Year: 1966 Type of vehicle title: Clear Primary color: Blue Mileage: 37580 Transmission type: 3 Speed Automatic Engine: 462 V8 Interior color: White Vehicle info In the heyday of American luxury, the mantras 'bigger is better' and 'more is better' were alive and well. Cars from Cadillac, Lincoln and Imperial were large, isolated, came equipped with massive torque rich motors and provided an extremely comfortable ride that was second only to a cruise ship. This 1966 Continental Coupe is a spectacular survivor that has been immaculately maintained by two owners throughout its entire 46 year existence. With a solid body, an all-original drivetrain, and a lavish interior, it mixes one of America's biggest V8s with the arctic-cool class that only a 60s Lincoln can deliver. If you're one of the many enthusiasts who's always dreamed of owning a big American cruiser that's high on style and loaded with comfort, we have the car for you! Included with the sale of this cool old survivor is an original window sticker which breaks down as follows: FLETCHER LINCOLN-MERCURY80 Franklin PlaceSummit, New Jersey LINCOLN CONTINENTAL COUPE: $5,447.40Assembled in: Wixom, MichiganHuron Blue: $00Vinyl twin front and rear floor mats: $12.74Leather trim: $110.27Six-way power seat: $82.64Embassy roof: $120.24White sidewall 915x15 four ply tires: $56.47Power vent windows: $71.13Automatic temperature control: $519.82AM radio/stereo tape system: $242.80Tinted glass: $52.163-way non-glare rearview mirror: $4.62Spare tire cover and license plate frame: $20.49Power door locks and door edge guards: $49.00 TOTAL OPTIONS: $1,342.38 DESTINATION CHARGE: $104.50 TOTAL RETAIL PRICE: $6,894.28 Manufactured in Wixom, Michigan; sold in Summit, New Jersey; and originally owned by Lieutenant Colonel Jose Diaz of Annandale, Virginia, this classy Continental coupe is a 37,580 mile two-owner survivor that presents well and performs great! As you can probably tell, the car still displays most of its original Huron Blue paint, and despite the character you'd expect a half-century old single stage finish to acquire, remains in outstanding condition. Under that paint, solid body panels are straight and rust-free, build gaps are still at factory standards and, judging by the car's slick appearance, it's probably been subjected to a downright militant maintenance schedule. By 1966 Lincoln was facing two problems. First and foremost their flagship Continental was getting a bit long in the tooth. And secondly the brand was having a hard time luring affluent, Cadillac-bound luxury buyers into the Ford family. They remedied both of those problems with brand new sheetmetal and the official introduction of this car; the fourth generation Continental coupe. At the front of the car, a traditional 'simple square' grille floats behind bright halogen headlights and a sculpted chrome bumper that's complete with newly re-integrated parking lights. On top of that grille, a new "CONTINENTAL" script is perfectly centered below a 'four point' Lincoln emblem; and at the sides of that grille stainless capped, knife-edge fenders begin a solid, slab-sided profile. At the top of the car, an original vinyl top frames a familiar curved windshield which is bordered by straight stainless trim and cleared by satin stainless wipers. Below that windshield an original power antenna functions just as Henry Ford intended; and behind that windshield, a chrome remote driver's mirror perfectly complements factory tinted side glass and stainless trimmed back glass. At the sides of the car, a conservative combination of ornate and functional items provides the timeless appearance 60s Lincolns are known for. Swept fender trim, dent-free rocker moldings and original door edge guards ensure that all contact points are protected from renegade road debris. And original door handles, polished original fender trim, mostly original Lincoln emblems and completely original "CONTINENTAL" fender scripts add just the right amount of flash and detail. At the back of the car, knife-edged fenders hang small reflectors above a second sculpted bumper that's complete with clear reverse lamps. Inside that bumper, simple square tail lights are stylish, wide and function just as well as the day they left the showroom. And above that bumper, a fourth 'four point' Lincoln emblem is mounted horizontally to hide the car's trunk lock cylinder. Part of Lincoln's 60s appeal was their rock solid safety, and marketing for the fourth generation Continental often boasted more weight than both Cadillac and Imperial. Naturally, a big luxurious car needs a big torque-rich motor; and at 340 horsepower and 485 lb./ft. of silky smooth grunt, this coupe's numbers matching 462 cubic inch MEL V8 fits the bill just perfectly! Highly original, the engine bay features correct markings and is in excellent condition throughout. It's not concours by any means, but it is incredibly tidy and has obviously been well-maintained from day one. Fresh Ford Blue paint covers the freshly tuned engine and freshly decaled air cleaner, which supplies air to a fully rebuilt Carter 4-barrel carburetor. All the major service items are in 100% functional condition, including the factory AC, tagged Autolite Sta-Ful battery, Autolite coil, new electronic distributor and fresh Carquest suppression cables. The satin black inner fenders are solid, the firewall is in excellent condition, and all the other places you'd think rust would hide are instead clean and untouched. I'd venture to say this Lincoln is every bit as road ready and powerful as it was back in 1966! For 1966, the Continental was equipped with a specially prepared version of Ford's reliable and sturdy C6 3-speed automatic transmission. This coupe's original C6 drives a mild set of 3.00 gears which provide effortless high-speed highway cruising. That fully-sorted drivetrain rides on a factory undercarriage that, like the car's engine bay, is clean and honest. And in the middle of the floors, a fresh factory replacement exhaust system provides quiet, confident motoring. Stops are handled by power front disc and rear drum brakes which are in good condition and show no signs of rot. Turns come courtesy of factory power steering that works hard to transform Titanic-size radiuses into tug boat-size rotations. And at the corners of the car, fresh 235/75 Firestone whitewalls spin 15 inch steel wheels around original satin-finished hubcaps. Trust me, you've never experienced highway cruising unless you've been in a car like this. Between its powerful V8, cavernous interior and solid, weighty suspension, it's the perfect environment for long road trips and scenic cross-country adventures. And over the past few years, the car's previous owner executed many small detail repairs which ensure this Lincoln will continue to be a competent road warrior for years to come. Speaking of that cavernous interior, open the car's well-aligned doors and you'll find a well-maintained cockpit that's both stylish and comfortable. The six-way power front and manual rear bench seats are firm and supple, with no signs of age or even so much as a frayed edge. Above those seats, a taut headliner is stretched between bright stainless pillar trim. At the sides of those seats, ornate and equally pristine door panels hang exquisite wood trim below modernist chrome buttons. And at the bottom of those seats, like-new carpet rides under original rubber floor mats. Modern conveniences such as power windows, power vent windows, power door locks, air conditioning and an original restored AM/FM 8-track stereo all look good, function properly and add a nice level of convenience to an already satisfying driving experience. In front of the driver, a stylish chrome steering wheel spins a black rim around a chrome column shifter and a pristine dash that's complete with a fully functional NOS clock. And behind the cockpit a large, carpeted trunk props what may very well be the car's original spare tire between a large storage bin and an original decklid decal. Documentation for this classy Lincoln cruiser includes an original order form, an original window sticker, original dealer paperwork, an original owner's manual, original warranty books, an original warranty card, the first owner's original financing papers from the Pentagon Credit Union, and various maintenance and service receipts. You simply won't find more car for your money than this super cool Lincoln. It's stylish, comfortable, reliable, and still commands a lot of respect on the highway. Up for sale is my 1957 Sedan Deville Hardtop (pillarless) car. It is ready to go. It was in California until 2009 and has never seen salt or snow. Immaculate underneath. I would like to see the new owner keep this classic unpainted as it took 57 years to accomplish this rustic yet stunning look (original paint but the odd spots were sprayed in sometime in it's early history). Buy it on it's champagne year! - Power Windows - Power Seat - Power Antenna - Power Brakes - Power Steering - Power Trunk with the original soft close latch (works but is wired incorrectly) - Autronic Eye (senses oncoming lights and automatically switches off your highbeams, then turns them back on when they pass) - RetroSound Model Two head unit - Bluetooth audio, handsfree calling, aux and usb imputs (comes with the original radio which wasn't working when I got the car) - New Coker Classic tires (less than 1000km's on them, cost over $3000 for the set) - Original hubcaps with a full spare including the hubcap and jack. - 109 000 miles - Original 365 engine was replaced by the dealer in 1961 with the new 390 and it runs like a champ. - Stainless steel dual exhaust - New carpet, but the seats are original. Had the 4-Speed transmission rebuilt this year and upgraded the transmission oil cooler, MSD ignition for fuel economy as the points ignition was less than optimal, added an overflow tank to the rad so it does not need constant coolant level monitoring as that was not invented yet in 1957, added seat belts (it did not come on the car so you cannot get a ticket for not wearing them), Comes with a brand new rear bumper and right quarter panel chrome mouldings, rubbers and other parts. This car really is in great shape, all of the doors open and close like it was brand new. All it needs is the windsheild wiper motor to be rebuilt (uses vaccuum), or install an electric one. Come and see it, you will not be disapointed, they do not overbuild cars like this anymore! This thing is awesome to drive! Sadly I have to part with this to pursue a career in racing Now I know I do not have a lot of feedback, but I have been using eBay for many years with my family's account and recently acquired my own. I am not out to grab your deposit, I am just trying to sell my car which has been posted on other sites as well. I thank you for your interest and if you have any questions please feel free to call me. I live right on the border of Port Huron Michigan and Sarnia Ontario if you wanted to come see the car in person. Shipping: Car can be shipped at buyers expense, and it should be able to drive fair distances without trouble. Payment: A deposit of $500 is required within 48hrs of the listing ending. This and the rest can be done via Paypal, or another option if you and I decide is mutually beneficial. Thanks again,Paul.
