You’re about to witness a very special 2005 Dodge Viper SRT-10 which is a “Copperhead Edition”. In 2005 Chrysler only built a total of 300 Copperhead Editions. This car is #128. The Copperhead Edition was a $2,995.00 option which included special paint, interior trim with dash plaque and unique wheels. This car was shipped from the final assembly point in Detroit, Michigan to Champion Dodge located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The original MSRP was $88,340.00. It was purchased on 11-15-2015 with 472 miles by two older gentlemen that were friends looking to make an investment together. After a few years of ownership one of the friends decided he wanted to sell the car. So on 09-09-2008 one friend bought out the other friend and the title was transferred into solely into his name. The Car Fax report documents this transaction which shows the car now having two owners. The reality is it’s really a one owner car but it is what it is. This car was kept in a garage with a car cover over it its entire life. It was parked on individual pieces of cardboard to keep the tires off the floor. The car was started frequently and driven about 100 miles per year. It was never driven in the rain. This car was treated like a true investment. The original owner decided to sell the car as it wasn’t going up in value and he wasn’t using it. I purchased the car from him in late May of 2015. I had the car shipped with an enclosed trailer from Memphis, Indiana to Seekonk, Massachusetts. Once I got the car I immediately scheduled a service appointment with my local Dodge dealership. I had the car serviced by a SRT mechanic and he completed a fresh oil and filter change. I had them use the correct Mobil 1 oil and Mopar filter. The receipt of this service is included with the car. The mechanic couldn’t believe the overall new condition of the car. I do have to admit I had to take the car home for a weekend cruise prior to having it completely detailed. I ended up putting about 75 miles on the car total. This car is in such new condition you can still smell all the new parts breaking in. The exterior of this car has great body lines and is very sporty. The Copperhead Orange Satin Coat paint is absolutely beautiful and in excellent condition. The paint really pops in the sunlight. I’ve walked around this car multiple times looking for the slightest imperfection and can’t find one. It’s truly like new! The black cloth top is nice and tight. It goes up and down very quickly. It has a convertible boot that covers the top area when its down if wanted. The car sits on aluminum wheels that are 18x10 on the front and 19x13 on the rear. It has the original Michelin Pilot Sport tires that are 275/35/18 on the front and 345/30/19 on the rear. The interior of this car is also in showroom condition. Matter of fact it still smells brand new. The interior is very cool in the way it was designed. I really like the gauges, console and bucket seats. The black leather trimmed buckets feel great and the Orange appointments match the exterior. The trunk compartment is also like brand new. It offers a decent amount of space for items such as the convertible top boot and custom Viper bag and indoor car cover that is included. The engine compartment is highly detailed and still has all the factory chalk marks and stickers. Its home to the massive 8.3L V10 SFI engine that produces 500HP. This engine is started by the push of a button and runs great. It sounds sweet out the side exhaust system. This is all original car with no modifications. The undercarriage is also highly detailed and still has all the factory chalk marks and stickers. Keep in mind this car has always been stored in a dry garage and has never seen rain. There are many classic vehicles listed for sale that have cosmetic and mechanical issues with such items as the lights, body hinges, gauges, window components, steering components, upholstery, engine leaks and tuning, radiators, transmission, rear end, brake components and suspension components. When these units are purchased from the dealer-only auctions as trade-ins or lease turn-ins they may not have some ‘accessories’ which you may feel should be included. Such items include things like books & manuals, extra keys, remotes, headphones (for entertainment packages), tools, cargo nets, floor mats, CD cartridges, wheel lock keys, etc. Items as these (or others you may think of) are not automatically included or provided by us.
